Thank you so so much for the wealth of knowledge and guiding us to the right shoe I have been in the Bondi 8 I have had no discomfort healing from my slow healing fifth metatarsal fracture My son loves his Clifton9 He’s in the healthcare profession and said they are great for standing. I Purchased my husband Bondi 8 I think he walks better and has better posture Thank you again Faith J.
I’m also recovering from 5th metatarsal. I have bondi and Clift. But I wish there was a shoe that is a mix of both (and no, Arahi ain’t it) lol. I understand that bondi is more of a stability shoe versus Clifton which makes bondi so stiff & rigid for me, but my question is, are Clifton still good supportive shoe for 5th metatarsal support and stability. Also has anyone noticed that Clifton’s push your foot/knee slightly inward?
I bought the Bondi eight in a regular size and I discovered that after a month or two or wear, not running, just walking around, the shoe conformed and stretched perfectly to my foot. I don’t need wide shoe in this, like I thought I might.
A question, first thank you, the Clifton changed my life, i’ve been through two surgeries of Neuroma in my foot, the only thing that really help eventually he’s to switch to hoka Clifton 9. I was wondering if Randi 8 will be better ? Right now I feel perfect with Clifton 9 my life back to normal. And this is thanks to you one of your videos.
I'm experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort from standing on the order picker all day. The constant standing and walking on the order picker is causing significant strain on my legs, feet, and lower back. Can someone help me coz I'm undecide to pick which one of the two
Thank you for your review. I have no problems with Clifford hoka but i just got bondi 8 and i got half size bigger and the collar is irritating the lower right ankle. My left side is fine but its the right. Other than that bondi 8 has the best cushion imo
Hi I wear uk12.5 for new balance 1080, and uk13 for asics both of them are super comfortable however I feel NB has better room for me. Which shoes should I go for in HOKA bondi or clifton? What size should I buy? In my previous two both were 31cm and should I go for wide or regular fit? Thanks

Is the bondy eight as wide in the front as the clifton nine in the Toe box
Havent tried the latest cliftons but i just got the Bondi 8's and the soles are noticeably firmer than the old Clifton 7's I had. So much that i was considering returning the Bondis to make sure i didnt get a defective pair. I was under the impression Bondi was supposed to be the most plush and cushioned Hoka. They definitely feel more responsive for what its worth
It is their most plush shoe unless you opt for their high end shoes with super critical foam. If you would like something super soft it may be with considering the new balance 1080
@@james_mccormack Yeah I gotta correct myself, I just didn't give them enough time to break in. After 2 days of wearing, they felt far more soft. Still not as soft as I remember the Clifton 7's but could just be me. Thanks for the recommendation. I actually prefer the fact they feel more responsive because I wear them for work where I'm pushing things around.

bondi is slightly wider
Hi, would you recommend these for someone with "flat feet"? Does one give superior arch support?
Hi, I have a video on hoka shoes for flat feet.
@james_mccormack is this answer to the question?!
Thank you very much for this vid and your one on seasamoiditus. Do you prefer the clifton 9 or Bondi 8 for this condition?
They're both good options - You could try them both on and see which is more comfortable for you.
Would you recommend the Bondi 8 or the Clifton 9 for metatarsalgia? Thank you.
Bondi is slightly wider and more cushioned

what shoes do you recommend for walking rather than standing?
They both work for this it just depends on the cushioning and fit that you prefer
Are clifton 9 or bondi 8 better for high arches?
The Clifton firmer and more responsive - they are both good options
Hi James, is the hoka bondi sr good for fat atrophy ?
I've answered on your other comment - thanks for watching!
Huh? What did he say?
He's ordering lunch. Something about 2 tacos and extra hot sauce, I think.
