I don't claim to be from lakeview but I lived there a short time. The General saved my ass from a beating one time. I was wearing a big ass hoody from my work, with a big ass number on the back, and my dumb ass was walkin down Randolph not even thinking. Couple, three, four dudes walked down the street and asked me about my number, pushin me down Ralston alley side, pressin me hard. And the man himself was on the other side of the street, and just said "Yo thas my neighbor." and kept walking. Those couple dudes, said my bad and we never had beef again.
