I've had my 06 tiburon gs since 2010. Got it at 46k and now I'm at 160k. Had to replace wheel bearings and the radiator. Overall maintenance on it has been less than $1000 for 120k miles of wear. Great car!
I am looking to get a tiburon, gs model. Considering it only has 140hp I was assuming the car would be terribly sluggish, but when I test drove one, it was surprisingly peppy. I think I’m set on getting one, i really enjoyed driving it, fun car and it looks absolutely beautiful. Only problem is it’s kinda hard right now to find a reasonably priced one thanks to the current market.
OMG!😭😭I owned that car when I was in France, and I sold her when I moved to the States in 2019. I miss her so much, I miss driving as well.😔 Thanks for this video which reminds me my car. My car was a Hyundai coupe fx
Thinking about buying the 2007 GS one for a first car. It’s 3k with 208k miles on it. Do you or anyone else think it’ll be good first car? I’ve been eyeing the Tiburon for a bit now and it’s one of the few cars I like in my price range that’s nearby to me. I’ve heard good things so far from peoples experience with the car, looking for more opinions
Joshua 208000 is a lot of miles. I am buying one tomorrow and it is a 2008, it has 136000 miles and it is 2400. Keep looking and you will be able to snag a good deal
Yes there is, however all of them have the antenna. Some people did an aftermarket shorty antenna mod and some people took it off completely and filled the hole, so maybe that's what happened to yours!
@@DarkDream856 its a 5speed 4400$ has 94k been kept in good shape ... what should I worry about or do I have to worry you know the saying about Hyundai's but the what I see about this model is pretty good .. I bought 3cars in 5yrs all seem good to go 🤦🏽♂️ ... so I can't throw this money away this time help me if you can fam appreciate it !!!
+duclairson vermeil In my opinion, it is. Hyundai has always been a bit ahead of its time with technology inside the car and it very much feels like a 2011 and up car. In terms of driving and safety, I would still vouch for it. It was a very fun car to have and drive, but not too powerful where it will blow itself up or anything. I very much miss that car and would definitely purchase it again if I came across one at the right price.
+Professor Chaos They are super reliable if you maintain them properly just like most cars. I had the 4 cylinder and did most of my own work. For me it was really easy to do almost anything you wanted to do to it.
Bruh the V6 is very reliable! I've had my 2006 Tiburon GT for a while and the only maintenance I've had to to (other than typical maintenance) is the serpentine belt at 100K miles. Which is typical for Tiburons

They are great little cars. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours a lot once you find a decently priced one!

Great video dude I loved it! Helped me a lot to decide what car I want for my first car!! Thanks!!
My dream car actually
Love the review! Just got this car and I absolutely love it!
What's that electrical plug & cord for at 6:47 near the power steering fluid?
That's for the block heater on the car. It's too plug in and keep the oil warm on the cold Canadian winters to make it easy to start. :)
Is that a 3rd party block heater mod then?
Toasticuss no, it came right from the factory. It's an option where I come from.
hi man is the tiburon long and wide i mean does it look sporty because i want a car that doesnt look like a normal car you see everyday
+LocalReviews i sure as hell dont see tiburons everyday. it looks like the same body size as scion frs and subaru brz
got a 07 GS with the sport package with a catback exhaust and a ECU reflash sitting in my drive way :)
You still got it?

Yes it is! It went under 3 names. The hyundai coupe, tiburon, and Tuscani.

Thinking about getting a 2008 tiburon gs for $7000 should I do it? It’s pretty clean
Depends on the miles, but I loved mine when I had it. Definitely miss it.
Cool car with nice interior
Thinking abouy buying an 06 Gt with 94k on it Is it worth and its super clean also ... what yall think ???
Depends on the price honestly. It's a very fun car though and if you do get it, you'll love it :)

Cool car I wish they would have kept the hatch back on the newer genesis coupe models.
is this car still a good first car in 2016?

If people still want this car in 2020, i would recommend them to buy a civic lx-p as an alternative
Jason Liu why what’s wrong with it??
Nice car, i want to buy or 04 or 07 hyundai coupe(europe), what i can hear that this car is only gas and drive you dont have any falliture on this car
The car was very reliable and great on gas!
DarkDream856 i agree i will save money with my brother and we will buy one... so i hope we will get another one also soon ;)
How is it in snow?
Garbo, it’s fwd
Nice car man !
is this with the v6?
No, this is the i4. I show it at time 2:06. :)
how are these cars maintenance wise? are they reliable ?

i have an 08 tib. bought used 1 owner at 10,000 miles in 09. its now 2016 and it has over 160,000 miles and ive had 0 problems.

U still got it
That is not factory radio dude. Car with factory radio doesn't come with remote
My 2008 stock tiburon gs also came with a remote
Lexie helton Clarion doesn't make radio for factory cars and you can tell the radio doesn't match the dash style completely different style
I have the kenwood factory radio with a remote. Is what I’m saying.
@@mingles2831 no it's the stock radio I have an 08 Tiburon and mine has the exact same radio with a remote.
Nice. Thank you.
Must b slow because u didn't mention HP
138hp. It's not a fast car from stock, just a nice car.
GWX 130 everyone
Looks like you've got a base model! Hahaah
It’s a gs sport package so no
