~||What is Tower Defense Simulator?||~
Tower Defense Simulator is a Roblox game made by Paradoxum Games created on the 5th of June 2019 and officially released on the 15th of June 2019. It involves players teaming up with one another to fighting waves of different enemies until they either are overrun or triumph that particular map. Players gain cash by damaging enemies and from wave bonuses, which can subsequently be invested in buying new towers or upgrading existing ones. There is also a Versus mode where other players can team up to face down another team. In this instance, players can send enemies. Once players are defeated or triumph, they gain EXP, which is used to level up, and Coins, which can be used to purchase new towers.

its really funny considering how about being tactical with using the commander ability with the nerfed version, because you can just be as passive as the unerfed version but just cycle it by using the ability every 13 seconds still chaining it anyways giving it 75% up time for what it presented as having 3 seconds of downtime at intervals is better than taking the whole 10 second interval,
if anything it was just a hinderance to total damage output and to add further to your statements, COA is not exactly the same as before as the current version makes you invest more into the commander due to the COA ability varying on output depending on level so its still weaker than its older version where you can simple get 1 max and 2 lvl 2 for max performance, instead having to max all 3 to maximize its effects
overall the commander has been changed to simply cost more, have less range, have less total support, and requires more investment than it used to have in exchange of being able to do more dps by itself and a new ability where youre most likely not to use
using cta with "tactical thinking" gets compeletely thrown out of the window when you have a 5 minute boss fight ahead and those 10 secnds of no cta add up

Before the commander buff, you could still chain commanders since commader's ability lasts 13 seconds now. In fact, it is easier to chain. It could always be chained but the ability and cost...

If you ask me the commander was fine aside from the range and price în bassicaly every mode but pw2 and maybe hardcore which before commander nerf you could still lose because of nuclear monster randomly spawning slimes with circuits...
@@alexandrumoloiu716 I wont lie I agree too. They just nerfed commander too hard. Sure it deserved a nerf but not has hard as this. Personally had they kept the placement limit of 3 and increased the range, on top of there recent changes ofc I wouldn't have a single problem at all with the rework.
If you ask me the easiest thing they could have done is reduce the firerate buff to 47.5%, 40% and 35% depending on lvl and increase the range by 3 at every lvl and making lvl 2 more expensive
Instead we get some abomination which doesnt know if he wants to deal damage and support and is bad at damage and ig its still good at support

About first buff I can agree that add extra 10 secs is impossible to try keep the boost forever.
But the seconds one like dude we don't actually need it.
And about seconds ability yea I think I can said is that 3000$ is not a big deal, just wait the molten and fallen mode got revamp but still is not worth it for try to spawn ACP with 3000$ so please hope they will buff the ACP's health and ACP gunner DPS.
it needs a buff for being a military unit that costs 3k to be on the road temporarily and you cant spam it because you know why it should get 300 dps on every acp squad commander summons ngl bc in the end of the day it takes 3k dollars and is weak

Idk why people complain about chaining like i usually play with one commander for the passive buff and some times CoA, and also you can just use ranger's range boost.
The difference is that the commander is PURE support meaning that you invest money to buff the towers around the commander, not the commander himself.(kind of why I supported the price increase for the rework and the placement limit) compared to the rangers ability which isn't controllable nor passive only showing up for 20 seconds after the start of the wave making it neglectable when you actually need its range boost, Chances are your not using the ranger for its range boost but for its extra DPS and full map coverage.
As for the commander rework, They nerfed him too hard and gave him 2 "buffs" that were really unwanted by the community, the caravan literally no-one wanted in the slightest and imo is pretty over powered to say the least, Plus if I want a unit spawning tower ill use Mil base. As for the other buff, Its detections and slight DPS boost was "nice" but not really needed nor actually what the commander was about which is ofc AOE support.
I don't think some people realize that there isn't any other pure support tower that really falls in line with Commander apart from mabye DJ which DJ is also really powerful. Its one of the most pricy pure support towers in the game, so ofc its gonna be strong compared to others like Medic, Freezer or pyromancer.
If you ask me, Rangers support ability needs to be slightly nerfed from 15% - 10% and made into a passive ability like the DJ's then using it would be good. (or just turn it into an ability, That also works due to its small placement limit, It would need like 60 second cooldown or smth.)

If it got a range buff the whole rework would lose the main point of it. It was supposed to nerf commander because it was, and still is the best tower in the game, it is just a bit more balanced.

As a part of the "iPad Generation" I am still pondering how my peers find this reasonable or the stuff then find funny ( Skidibi Toilet ) humorous.
Because the devs nerfed the tower too hard in the rework update. Literally nerfed every aspect of the tower. Ofc people are going to get mad especially since commander is a loved tower within the community and serves pretty much as the face of TDS.
Plus the positives of the rework were "unwanted" to say the least. We didn't want another spawner tower we wanted the commander to stay as a solid AOE support tower, nor did we really need the commander to have more Detections. Im going to be honest, I supported some of the nerfs like the increase in price and slight reduction in COA ability to make it a solid 50%, however the range nerf & the COA ability cooldown nerf was unwarranted.
Honestly when I was arguing this in the discord one of the balance testers literally told me that nothing would be reverted TDS. Wouldn't ya know the rework received so much backlash the the devs reverted at least some of more critical parts of the rework not so long after.
@@onlinename7697 I get what you mean, its expected for backlash for a tower like Commander, but its still good, maybe not in hardcore, but still good. Its still very good for "casual playing" ( Easy Molten Intermediate and Fallen ) but it won't carry us in Event Modes with high health bosses, which WILL result in much lower chances of winning. And the range nerf is 100% uncalled for, but fine if you have a DJ, so its not too bad.

ofcourse bro, brawler has aoe (at lvl 4) and stunning (lvl 2 and lvl4's ability) and effectively map range (lvl 4 ability)

Ehh COA comes before range my man. However range comes before placement limit, so I would say lower its placement limit back down to 3 and give the tower like an extra 4-5 range.

Ya know I have a small theory that all the QA testers are banding together in order to make the devs produce garbage updates. It sounds really out there but when you look at other QA testers that are also YTers your see a trend with how they act, especially as of recent as the patient zero update.

i swear when i joined the game most of the server was at hardcore and i went into other servers and it was the same thing most of the server was at hardcore... So your kinda right but mostly wrong some people do spend money for gems but alot more people would grind for it as its the cheapest gem tower
