Kenny: If you wanted to have teams make the playoffs/be seeded based solely on record without consideration for conferences you should have chosen the option after the one you chose in which teams are seeded irrespective of conference finish (Essentially the top 16 teams). You had it set to that the top 8 teams from the West and the top 8 team from the East would be taken and then seeded based on record, so a little different.

The rule that removes the free throws for instant points only counts for shooting fouls, not fouls due to being in the bonus. Since bonus is still in but fouling out is not, there were probably lots of bonus free throws.
Kenny the free throw one didn’t work as it was only for shooting fouls and not for the other types.Also the sudden death only occurs when you are playing the game yourself.Great video nonetheless

Don’t most free throws come from shooting fouls though? The only other time you shot free throws would be when your team is in the bonus, and that doesn’t seem like enough for 7 ft attempts per game

Rules:
You must run a 10-man
The players you must have
The Mandalorian: A lone gunfighter and Guild Member through the galaxy, this player must be their team’s lead guard, have over a 25% Usage Rate last season, and must mentor a player in their same position under the age of 25 (Baby Yoda)
Cara Dunne: A rebel and a sidekick, this player must be their teams 2nd Option and must’ve shot over 40% from deep last season (since she is a shock tropper)
Baby Yoda: The Child that needs the love and the care, but can be the world’s most dangerous creature, this player most have a 80+ loyalty and have the unpredictable badge
Kuill: A technician but a protector, This player must be the oldest player on his team and must be a scrappy but kind-hearted player on the court
IG-11: A Hunter Droid but a reprogrammed nurse, This player must’ve sacrificed his lead role to take on smaller role for his team (since he sacrificed his death to get past the stormtroopers)
Greef Karga: The leader of the Guild that first betrayed, but then came together with Mando, this player must’ve reunited with one of their former teammates, and must’ve averaged 15 PPG in less than 25 minutes per game.
The Armorer: The leader of the Mandalorian Tribe that always “knows the way”, This player must be criticized for hiding something and always finds a way to make the playoffs
Toro Calican: A young guy wanting to get a job in the Guild, This player must be in his rookie season and must have a mentor guiding him. For example, Eric Paschall who is getting mentored by Draymond Green.
Two Stormtroopers: Just two friendly stormtroopers, These players must be your 9th and 10th man and must play the same position (without switching positions)
You must get past Moff Gideon aka Lebron James
You must get past a group of young mercenaries (from episode 6, The Prisoner)
This team must have a big 3 of Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, and Zion Williamson
You must control that team in the beginning using trade override to get those 3 players on the same team
The goal is to avoid all obstacles and win a championship

Rules:
-You must start out with a randomly selected team
-Let your assistant GM do the fantasy draft for you
-Your team must consist of at least one player for each category...
-The Striker: He is the guy who “takes all the shots”. This player must be shooting at least 40% from three.
-The Winger: This guy loves to cross the ball in and make great passes. This player has to have averaged at least 7 assists last year.
-The Midfielder: These players control the game. In basketball, rebounds often say a lot about how the game will turn out. This guy has to have averaged 10 total rebounds this past season.
-The Defender: These players are amazing at stopping the other team from getting to the goal. For this category, your player must have averaged 1.5 or more steals.
-The Goalkeeper: This guy is a lifesaver. He blocks all the shots. This player must be averaging at least 1.5 blocks.
-The Hype Man: This guy loves to get excited and pumped up. He also can run his mouth at times. This player got at least 10 technical fouls called on them last year.
-The Team Captains (2 Players): These guys are the leaders of their team. These players have to have won the Sportsmanship Award, Teammate Award, or the Community Assist Award at some point.
You have to run an 8-man rotation (8 players that fit the challenge)

The "Only Draft" rebuild
In this challenge you can only draft players. It starts out with a simulated fantasy draft. Then during the first season, you tank and trade for picks. Your team for the next 5 years after the 1st year cannot have anyone play minutes that is not an auto-generated player. Your goal is to win the finals twice in the 5 years. You can also choose between, Easy Mode: 75 draft class quality, Normal Mode: 50 draft class quality, and Hard Mode: 25 Draft Class quality.

The sudden death rule only applies if teams are still tied after one OT. So 1OT plays out like normal and 2OT would be first to score wins. It's a rule the NBA actually uses, in the Summer League.

Here’s a good way to make everyone score more in 2k:
Turn the shot clock to 20 secs
Turn 8-sec violation to 6 secs
Use the foul shot rule where it’s automatic points
I’ve done this on NBA2K21 current gen and teams were scoring 170+ per game so I’m wondering if it still works on next gen

Every Lottery pick challenge:
Very simple idea, trade for every lottery pick and use those 14 players the following season and see how well they do. After the first season with all rookies, you start the rebuild and win a ring with at least 6 of the original rookies.

It’d force bad teams to try to be good instead of tanking. Also, the 1st worst and 2nd worst teams are garunteed to have a top 10 pick. I think this should be implemented in the real NBA.

I think only a certain amount of rule changes can be applied during one season, so I think some of the rules get enacted every season until they are all enacted
