Good morning 🌅, It’s looking 👀 very good, I just had to stop and tell you are being watched, at 8-50 - 8-60 there is 2 faces looking 👀 at you , 😂, from France
I hope you have a great stay , in joy holiday, you will be 8Hr away from me, it looks like a beautiful city, I can’t even offer to put you up , as I have been working on my property for a long time, I have a very bad leaking roof, I’m going battle with my insurance company, and the contents of my attic is in my two spare bedrooms and anywhere else I can stack it, have a safe journey, and enjoy your trip, from France
Good morning 🌅, Great looking 👀 Bowl, It’s a great shame that you don’t core it, oneWay coring system, with a Hunter cutter tip , it does a great job, even in resin, keep up the great work of Art, from France,
Good morning! Yes I did consider using the corer but the foot on a burl is prone to breaking off. But I’ll look up the Hunter cutter tip sounds good. Thanks mate
Thanks! So far no warping or cracking, but it’s early days. It lives inside the house so it will be exposed to heating and such. Will update in a few months. Cheers
Very nice bowl! As a new turner in this field, about how much does a piece like this sell for? I've turned for years for gifts and relaxation, and I always wondered how much some of these would cost. Thanks, been watching for some time now and enjoyed everything.
Thank you for watching! The price of a piece like this is usually determined by the size, complexity and the type of wood used. I’m leaving this piece for a few months to ensure not too much ovalization and if still aesthetic perhaps $175 approx. I hope you continue to enjoy the channel!
Anotherreat piece mate, keep up the wonderful work 👍👌😎
Thanks mate! Cheers!
Gorgeous! I want to buy this ❤
Thankyou!
Well done. I’m stealing that use of forstner bit to remove the nub.
Haha glad it was helpful. Cheers!
Really nice bowl. That burl has some really wild figuring. Surprised it held on the vacuum chuck considering all the perforations.
Thanks, yeah the figuring in this burl was definitely a challenge.
Nice one brother.....greetings from Canada.
Thanks mate! Cheers from the states!

Thank you, it was a great piece of wood to work with!
Fantastic piece! And great video. Any update on warping/wood movement? You sad it was super wet, so I'm curious to know how it dries out.

Nice mix of sapwood and burl. I only turned two pieces of cherry burl that were average figure.
Thanks, this one was special for sure!
