so i know people say "oh when your young you dont really understand the world" but im here at 13 feeling like i will never be good enough and sometimes i think everything would be better without me. This song always cheers me up because its nice to know people go through this and if they can get through it i can. I am an aspiring dancer (self taught) and a boy so people think i act like a "girl" but i just want to dance, i dont get why that is such a problem. Sometimes i think of changing myself completely but then i remember this song. To anyone reading this, I love you and you dont deserve to be insecure, everyone is beautiful even tho you dont feel it most of the time doesnt mean it isnt tru
You go boyo! You embrace yourself and don't let anyone tell you that you are something other than yourself. Speaking as a girl in dance, i know that dance can be especially hard for boys, not because of the moves or anything (sometimes flexibility but not always 😅) but because others make fun of male dancers because they can seem more feminine to other guys (because dance is seen as a "girl's" activity (even though it really isn't because the boys are needed mor than girls)). But guess what, you get put where you are supposed to be. Whether it be in art, football, dance, whatever. You are perfect. The others are the ones that need to change themselves. Not you. Also dance helps with agility so should you go and do another sport, you will most likely be better at it then the other guys. You be you booboo 😝💕

I'm usually not a fan of stuff like this but I heard this before it came out during gnash opening for All Time Low and I really loved the songs by gnash there. He knows how to write a good song and he performs, and sings really well. from usually a rock fan, amazing job, gnash.

Then I heard Dear Insecurity when he performed it and I absolutely enjoyed it. He left a great first impression. Heck he even payed attention to the audience. My friend brought a sign and he read it. There's not a lot of performers out there who really show that they care and enjoy making music and performing like Gnash.
