it’s normal to have tangles after shampoo. A lot are drying so it’ll make tangles. Most curly hair tangled up constantly though as well😭 trim would help but i wouldn’t say it’s the root of your probs. If it seems to tangle towards the ends then yeah a trim would be the solution
and she also need a trim. Her ends look dead. But i understand not wanting to let go of those ends trust 💀

I never understood why people didn’t like their natural curly hair, my mom is pushing 40; and she doesn’t like her curls, like at all. She hates them. I don’t really understand why, it saddens me to see her not like it and not take care of them:( she looks stunning in them, and not a day goes by that I don’t tell her that I love seeing her curly and natural hair:)
I used to hate my curly hair and I'm still learning to like them,not so long ago curly hair was seen as ugly and described as "messy" so a lot of curly haired people grew up feeling embarrassed about them
My mom is the same way..my mom is 54 and just doesn’t like wearing her curls all she wears is wigs & weaves and no matter how much I tell her her curls are beautiful and she should wear them out she just doesn’t, she doesn’t like them..I wish she would see but I don’t think she ever will 🙁 she’s so used to straight her and I think she doesn’t see her confidence in them like a lot of people..they’re so used to thinking straight hair is the only beautiful hair..very sad
Camila Foglia and i understand, ofc Im not invalidating her feelings. But we’re not there anymore, so I make sure to tell her to take care of her curls and how beautiful and stunning she looks in them! Curly/straight/ wavy whatever, it don’t matter. It’s all beautiful!
