First of all, Adam always makes very good videos, they might be simple or complex, that doesn't matter, the most important thing is that we learn about the language all the time, maybe, a lot people know how to handle or manipulate a computer correctly BUT not Everyone, there's always someone who doesn't.
You made 2 mistakes in your comment, the correct expressions are;
"Everyone knowS such basic things."
- (you missed the "s" in know 'cause everyone is third person singular and remember that adjectives don't have gender and number in English).
