99% of bands would trade their souls to make the 'worst' LZ album.
Yes there’s a lot of wannabe hard rock and metal bands that can’t hold a candle to Zeppelin
Led zeppelin are the most OVERRATTED band of ALLTIME..Most of their songs are AWFUL.
LZ 1 should be 8 and LZ 4 should be 7 only because it was overplayed
@@Jerknoir-a-saurus Greta van Fleet are kinda OK. But they lack a really good drummer. Which was what stood Led Zeppelin different from all the others. And Jimmy Page knew this when Bozo passed.
I’m 99% shur they LZ did sell there souls
Rick Beato had a great video about Stairway and Taurus and spoiler Zeppelin didn’t steal it from Taurus. Because if they stole it then so did Taurus. There’s plenty of music that predates both songs that uses that Lydian scale. Music is meant to be shared.
Years ago I was at my local record store. The store owner myself in a couple other guys were standing around talking music. When this kid comes up and says excuse me I'm trying to get into Led Zeppelin do they have any Greatest Hits albums. We all laughed and the owner said start with Zeppelin 1 the kid asked is that a greatest hits album. The owner told him they're all Greatest Hits albums
Whadda 'bout the "Early Years" and "Later Years" CDs...?
@Lipe King someones always gotta think what they meant
I have a triple LP called Remasters that does for me.
Funnily enough though I don't really need that many tracks by them. All I need is:
Stairway, Black Dog, Rock and Roll. Whole Lotta Love, Immigrant Song, Kashmir, Dazed And Confused and Achillies Last Stand.
Cool
@@chrisst8922 You’re missing out on a lot of great music.
When life gives you Lemons......squeeze them till the juice runs down your leg!!!
🤣🤣🤣
It’s so hard to rank zep iv high because everyone’s heard them nonstop on the radio for years.
But it’s the best
Their best LP but I exclude Stairway from all lists. It's gone beyond lists. So for me Achillies Last Stand is their best track.
Achilles Last Stand is my favorite song. Houses of the Holy and LZ2 are my favorite albums.
I also love this song. Absolutely stonking guitar and percussion opening riffs. One of their very, very best tracks and would push Presence higher up on my list than others would probably have it.
Achilles Last Stand is by far the best song on Presence IMO
Hello from Ireland Dylan! Just a little more info for you to think about - Bert Jansch ( pron Yansch) did not write black water side either! The melody is based on a trad Irish tune called 'she moved through the fair' which Jansch borrowed and modified for his own use. Page did the same thing and most importantly- this was just the done thing back then. Same with a lot of blues licks etc - most was considered to be in the public domain. Of course it doesn't mean you can rip stuff off! But a lot of stuff was being appropriated by a lot of artists- the stones Bob Dylan etc. It was what the old blues masters themselves did back in the day. If you make something completely different as in make it your own - I don't mind at all! Great channel by the way Dylan.
Physical Graffiti is the one I would choose. I'm not much of a Zep fan, but I did appreciate your enthusiasm and I did enjoy the video. Cheers.
Zepplin III - Since I’ve Been Loving You, my absolute favorite Zeppelin song. Can’t get enough of it.
Obviously you are familiar with what is called A WOMAN. "I'm about to lose, my worried mind, oh, oh."
“Carouselambra” is a cool song, especially when it slows down about 4 and 1/2 minutes into the song. And there were 6 different album cover perspectives, they’re A through F and came in the mystery brown paper bag.
Love them all, lifelong fan. Enjoying the channel bud. Would like to visit the store some day. From the "land of the ice and snow", up in Toronto, saying get the Led out!!!
Have you heard the yardbirds at Anderson Theatre 1968? Pre zep, Page is just on fire. Johnny Ramone was at that show.
I guess he didn't learn anything. Ramoannns were terrible.
@@randygates1619 I never understood why so many loved them
Great Ranking I basically agree LZ is my second fav group of all time The Doors is my #1 would love to get your ranking on my Jimbos albums
Agreed. Great ranking! Have you heard Osaka '71? I am looking for a good copy. Thanks again.
What a task you set yourself Dillon. Brave man. Can’t say I completely agree, but I’m not angry :-D I’m not a huge fan of II anymore. Its like Zeppelin for beginners. I’d probably have Physical Graffiti at my top end.
You mentioned 3 in another vid so o will once again say bron-yr-aur stomp is amazing, amazing, flipping amazing
Love this video, I really appreciate you putting physical graffiti higher on the list, some of their best work lyrically and musically and people always put it in like 4th or 5th place, glad to see someone finally give it the credit it is due!
I remember reading years ago that Presence was Zepelin's favorite.
One of the best things I've done was get all of Zeppelin's studio albums. Listening in order is an amazing experience. As for Coda I think of it like Autumn Equinox for Pink Floyd. It's stuff that didn't really make the cut.
I couldn't agree more. Very similar taste. I also love III the best with a history. Well done. Carry on...😉😎
I 100% empathise with every decision you made. Zeppelin are my all time favourite band and I can feel your passion in the way you talk about the albums. Great ranking. You should do your favourite tracks. Achilles Last Stand will always hold my number 1.
Great review and i agreed,my favourite is 3 but i feel the best is real close between 2 and Physical Graffiti
Very cool to see your ranking!
Great video Dylan.. I love LZ as well. My ranking would be.. LZ1, Physical Graffiti, LZII, LZIII, LZIV, Presence, Houses Of The Holy.. I was the first guy on my block to buy LZ1 when it came out and there literally was a lineup outside my door to come in and hear it so it has special meaning to me. I saw LZ at a relatively small venue in Toronto in 1969 just when LZII was coming out so it also has a high personal ranking. Over the years, Physical Graffiti has become my most go to LZ album... thanks for doing this...Glen Kellaway
There is no such thing as a worst to best album ranking for Led Zeppelin... Other than that you are doing a awesome job! Thank you
3 has always been my favorite
With respect, Blackwaterside is a traditional Irish folk song that was popularized by Bert Jansch, who was every bit the great guitarist you state, but he did nor write it. Best version of that song IMHO is Sandy Denny's on The North Star Grassman and The Ravens album.
Love watching your videos, great advice from you, and it has helped me to be a better collector and has turned into a hobby I love! So thanks!
1. Houses of the Holy
2. I
3. IV
4. II
5. Physical Grafitti
6. In through the out door
7. III
8. Presence
9. Coda
Not to forget the Live Albums, especially The BBC Sessions
LZII Is my favorite, first one I ever listened to.
My Updated Led Zeppelin album rankings
9. Coda
8. Presence
7. In Through The Out Door
6. Led Zeppelin III
5. Houses Of The Holy
4. Untitled
3. Led Zeppelin II
2. Led Zeppelin
1. Physical Graffiti
1) Physical Graffiti, 2) IV, 3) Houses, 4) Presence, 5) III, 6) II, 7) I, 8) In Through the Out Door
Dude, from one Zeppelin loyalist to another, I totally agree with the list. Mine is pretty much the same. I can debate myself whether or not Physical Graffiti or Zeppelin II is the best. But it’s II in my opinion. It put them on the map and showed how dominant they were with only the second record. But two of my top five Zeppelin songs are on Physical Graffiti : Houses Of The Holy and the underrated and amazing The Rover. And Custard Pie is wicked too. It’s a perfect album.
Were does this guy live I gotta take I mean look at those albums
I agree with number one, i just love that record
What are your opinions on solo albums of Page and Plant and other stuff that they did outside of Led Zepplin? love see a video on that
Because of you, I listened to Taurus by Spirit. Page & Plant certainly used part of that tune, but they took it to the highest level possible.
the recorded sound of "The Song Remains The Same" is so muddy it sounds like it was recorded on someone's cell phone.
Hey Dylan! In addition to a video about your Grateful Dead collection could you do a vid on your Vertigo collection? And collecting vertigo? I don’t have any and I feel I need one in my collection. I might get a Black Sabbath Paranoid on vertigo if I can. Is that a good idea? Thanks!
Great list. But disagree with your comments on Taurus: it is a very standard run-down that shows up in lots of acoustic music.
Page did Black Mountain Side with the Yardbirds titled White Summer.
Yes I know
Appreciate the video! This is an impossible task, and I agree with the idea that there is no 'worst' Zep album. It's more like good/better/best!
9. Coda (fair comments that it's not really a true Zep album)
8. In Through The Out Door - Their mellowest effort as Robert and JPJ took the reins at that time, while Jimmy was going through "stuff".
7. Presence - A lot of great stuff here, obviously, but just not quite as good as others below. Quintessential mid-70's Zeppelin. Good luck understanding all the lyrics in this one. They had to be stoned when they recorded it, LOL!
6. Houses of the Holy - While I like all the songs here, I just don't think tunes like "D'yer Mak'er", "Dancing Days", and "The Crunge" are up there with their best work.
5. Zep III - "Since I've Been Loving You" is one of my all-time favorite Zep songs, if not one of my all-time favorites, period. "Tangerine" is so underrated, and so is the album to an extent. Critics didn't like it because it is uneven - and it is, as the band was now at a point of taking risks and taking their music in new directions. And for what it's worth, this album includes what I consider to be their worst song: "Hats Off to (Roy) Harper".
4. Zep I - The fact that so many of these songs were uncredited is a significant blemish for Jimmy and the band. What they did was wrong. That said, nobody can deny the greatness of what Zeppelin did here. They transformed blues songs like "Dazed and Confused", "You Shook Me", and "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" into epic rock masterpieces. Next to Zep IV, I'd say this one is the most consistent set from beginning to end. And, man, does an album's final track get any better than "How Many More Times"?
3. Zep II - The Brown Bomber! I can't fault anyone for putting this one or the next two at the top of their list. This is just another masterpiece with every song being a classic. Of course, the same comments about the blues tracks on Zep I apply to "Whole Lotta Love", also.
2. Physical Graffiti - If they had stopped at just Side 1 & 2 it might be #1 for me. I can't think of a string of three songs on any album ever better than "Houses of the Holy", "Trampled Underfoot", and arguably their best song (the band thought so), "Kashmir". Sides 3 & 4, while also still having a lot of great material, just isn't as strong as the first half, and for that reason I don't have it as #1.
1. Zep IV - I think people have a tendency to over-analyze things over time. We want to convince ourselves that what we know to be the best isn't anymore. But this is still their masterpiece and defining moment. While Zep III showcased their incredible range, as mentioned above, it was uneven/inconsistent. On Zep IV it all comes together perfectly. Every single song is among the greatest in the history of rock. And the flow from one track to the next is perfection, as is the entire album.
Btw, I appreciated your fair comments about the beginning of Stairway. Jimmy has acknowledged that he was familiar with "Taurus" and, let's say, he tweaked it for the intro. But the rest of the song is all Zeppelin. I don't think it's accurate for anyone to say "Stairway" was stolen from Spirit's "Taurus".
‘In Through The Out Door’ has shot up high on my list over the years simply because the vibe just feels so much more genuine and humbled. The early records are very much trying to impress you, which they DO, but frankly the schtick gets old after a while.
Music is a form of storytelling, and when that story is mostly “Look how awesome I am”, ya know, there really isn’t much substance there after a while. I used to worship Zep just like the rest of us, but once the hero worship and pleasure trip fades you’re left looking at a band who’s goal was to be the greatest, and not much more. Boy, did they accomplish that on some level, but in the end Bonham said he wanted to quit drums because he was no longer the greatest, so what does that tell you? Zeppelin’s a weird realm for me, and they’re no doubt great, but the hero worship is off the map, and the fandom can be toxic, drones of zombies regurgitating that they’re objectively the greatest, as if there even is such a thing. It’s just weird, and all the occult stuff doesn’t help lol. I’m sure some people will be offended by this for whatever reason but it is what it is.
Dude! Zep 4 is a masterpiece
My list is
1. Physical Grafitti
2. Zep II
3. Presence
4. Zep III
5. Zep I
6. Zep IV
7. ITTOD
You sir, you have balls. Great video.
1. LZ2
2. LZ4
3. LZ1
4. LZ3
5. Presence
6. Physical Graffiti
7. Houses of the Holy
8. In through the outdoor
I would love to see their soundtrack album in there as well, but your ranking is great. I would put Presence a bit higher and 3 a bit lower, but yes, it is just ranking and I like them all.
LZ 4 and 2 are their best works. Phenomenal groundbreaking discs.
I'd go
1. Physical Graffiti
2. Houses of the Holy
3. LZ III
4. LZ IV
5. LZ II
6. LZ I
7. In Through the Out Door
8. Presence
Speaking of the Whole Lotta Love jams, I love when they did the 1/4/71 medley into Mess of the Blues and the thunderous drum thumping from Bonham after Plant gets out "I just got your letter, baby. Too bad you can't come home"...right about 9:20 into this youtube link ua-cam.com/video/Kap8Oo3agdg/v-deo.html
I'm pretty sure Coda was basically a contractual obligations album. I think it's probably bottom equal with ITTOD.
I would rank Led Zep 4 second on my list, just below Physical Graffiti.
This is a really good clip. Watched the whole thing just to hear your views and essays. Dont agree on the ranking of II; it is my least fave (well except for CODA and Out Door). But your speeches are always great. "Graffiti" is my favorite, I guess. Re Jimmy's guitar tone - I think it is even more original on "Houses of Holy" album.
Great presentation
Thanks for watching! 🙏
I with you I'm a Zeppelin lover I just watched your worst to first Review and I swear that it was like watching myself not only your ranking but your comment are so similar to what I think about each album fucking freaky man I can't take Coda or ITTOD seriously I don't even consider them 2 albums as zeppelin Albums.
Love your reviews keep them coming please and thanks
Wow!!! I agree with this entire list!!!
thanx mate been wondering as have three copies of the british vversion
Whole Lotta Love is actually a Muddy Waters song. Small Faces did a version called You Need Love.
1. Led Zeppelin ll
2. Physical Graffiti
3. Led Zeppelin
4. Led Zeppelin lll
5. Houses of the holy
6. Led Zeppelin lV
7. Coda
8. Presence
9. In through the out door
Aww man..
Night flight is awesome ...
Agreed with everything
I agree. #2 is their best.
There really is no right or wrong list with Zeppelin's albums. I was fortunate enough to start from the beginning with their 1st album and subsequently bought every album as they were released thru the years. That in itself is amazing, because I have found with a lot of bands even when they are still together, you can 'outgrow' a band; not so with Zeppelin. My biggest surprise is how there are people out there who say they never liked LZ, which still amazes me! But as to my top list, you have to understand, after 50 years, your opinion changes- for many years when I was young I always said LZ's 1st was my all time best album. But today, I have Houses of the Holy as my favorite, followed by their 1st & then their 2nd.
Led Zeppelin II. III, and HOTH are my favorites, but I listened to the newest Jimmy Page remaster of their debut and yes, there's a lot of covers, but the performance of #1 is phenomenal and yes, they made those songs their own.
Not easy to rank Led Zeppelin's albums, especially not the first three but here we go.
1. Led Zeppelin I
The reason I choose this as my number 1 is that I can't think of a record I have played more times than this, and I never get tired of it.
2. Physical Graffiti
The best double album of all times. Some say there are filler tracks on side 4, well that's just because side 3 is so awesome.
3. Led Zeppelin IV
Could be no 1 on another day.
4. Houses of the Holy
5. Led Zeppelin III
6. Presence
7. In through the out door
8. Led Zeppelin II
Shocking to some I guess. There are some great tracks on here but I seldom listen to this record.
9. Coda
Great video...it would be hard for me to rank the albums. I grew up on Zeppelin. At first Zofo and Physical Graffitti plus Presence. Didn't really listen to the others till later. Their are good songs on Coda. Didn't like it till later . The reissue has a lot on it...Traveling riverside blues, Hey hey and other gems on it. I do understand why people don't get it their alot there and it really dont mix well or shall I said flow well together. Presence is Page at his best playing. You got to appreciate this as a guitar player. I could ramble on all day about zeppelin but it time for me to go.
The Coda 3 disc repress set is at the top of my list.
A lot of this album ranking lies on a person’s own preference, from day to day. Now I would say my favorite album is Zep III, but what do I find myself listening to the most? Houses of the Holy. And with Coda, if they had not released it, we may never have heard Wearing and Tearing, Ozone Baby, or any of the other songs on that album for years. Part compilation? Yes, but if it’s never been released before, still new to us.
I hear you on the day-to-day stuff. But Physical Graffiti has been my favorite album of theirs and in my top five of all albums, since it came out in '75.
1. Houses of the Holy
2. Led Zeppelin
3. Physical Graffiti
4. Led Zeppelin II
5. the fourth one
6. Presence
7. In Through the Out Door
8. Led Zeppelin III
Thanks for watching! 🙏
You’re a brave man lol. Good list sir that’s a tall order one I’ve been struggling with for years I would however liked to have heard you say Zeppelin never wrote a bad song.
Who is the best musician in led zeppelin? Discuss!
First lps the only one you need! The aqua lettered one..
Love these Japanese presses.
I really like the double live album, The song remains the same, the best for me !
That Spirit song is actually not “dead on” it’s just the same chord right at the beginning for about 5 seconds. A similar chord or chords in an intro does not make a song, and Stairway is an entirely different song than the Spirit tune. You cannot copywrite a chord. Just sayin’. Also, just my opinion, and the court’s 3 times now. Funny enough, the Spirit song Taurus’ intro leans heavily on an early classical piece, the name escapes me at the moment, but being inspired and writing something new is ok in my book. Spirit is a great band by the way, highly unappreciated. Agree with your ratings though, although the top 4 could change places at any given time, but for me are always the top four! Edit: Wow, 😂, didn’t realize this was 2 years old, ha ha ha!
You traded a pair of pants for LZ III? Were you wearing them at the time?? LOL
I wasn’t but I still would have if I were wearing them and it would still have been worth it
@@noblerecords LOLOLOLOL
If you think Taurus and Stairway are the same, you don’t understand chords and song structures. Taurus uses a descending chord line that’s been used a million times.
No need to insult. I didn’t say they were the same, but they are very similar. It’s impossible to say where he got the idea for stairway from but regardless is a legendary song and way better then anything spirit ever did.
Presence and Coda kick ass.
Hello Dylan- greetings from England. Re- I.T.T.O.D. i feel. ' I'm Gonna Crawl' is very underated. Otherwise, i really enjoyed your review. * By the way, great Q & A with your wife a couple of days ago.
9. Coda (1982)
8. Led Zeppelin (1969)
7. Presence (1976)
6. Physical Graffiti (1975)
5. Led Zeppelin 3 (1970)
4. In through the out door (1979)
3. Led Zeppelin 2 (1969)
2. Led Zeppelin 4 (1971)
1. House of the holy (1973)
I would put em at
1.(best)houses of the holy
2.zep 2 for much of the reason he states
3.physical graffiti
4.zep 3..the rocking songs here really rock..people sleep on "out on the tiles"
5.zoso-good shit but not like the above..im sick of hairway to steven.
6.zep1.....yeah it rocks but like he states theybwere still figurin it out and i dont like the bad fuzz tone guitar on this album
7.in thru out door- kinda want to put higher up because i like how they were trying new sounds..i think jimmy pages solo on "in the evening is incredible"
8.presence...songs run on and some dogs here..i do love nobody fault but mine
Zeppelin 2 is the best, used to be 4 but just rocks & rocks & flipping rolls
Here is my top five Zeppelin records.
1. Physical Graffiti
2. Zeppelin II
3. Houses of the Holy
4.Zeppelin 4
5. In Through the Out door
Physical Graffiti is filled with killer songs in my opinion. Zeppelin II wow blues, psychedelic and rock well blended together like a good mixed drink.
Yeah Josh. The compositional structure of Physical Graffiti is profound. They were on point.
Physical Graffiti is a masterpiece!
I know a lot of people rate Physical Graffiti and each to his own but I have always felt 1,2,3 and 4 far superior to the rest of the catalogue. For a start Plants voice after 4 just doesn’t sound so intimate and raw. Am I the only one?
I’d go Houses, Graffiti, Zep 2
@@beawsbiz I agree , I appreciate the Raw rock n' roll bluesy , psychedelic/ sound of the first 4 albums .
The latter albums got soft , in my opinion they stopped smoking weed/ eating acid and all got hooked on cocaine , opiates and booze for the latter albums lol.
"I mean Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees". wayne to garth 1992.
No stairway?
There's not a single song by the Bee Gees I like.
It is very much a case of 'horses for courses' ; the Bee Gees were genius
Led Zeppelin 2 will always be my favorite bro
me too..the first zeppelin album I bought...
Fool In The Rain Has Some Of John Bonham's Best Drumming!
Top 5 Zep song for me because of it
My favorite album
Agreed! Followed by Kashmir.
Probably the most informed ranking of these albums I've ever heard. Agree completely although i'd swap the rankings of Zep 4 and Zep 1. To me original content is greater on Zoso and it goes a step higher.
I was thinking the same thing before I saw this comment. I'd also swap the positions of In Through the Out Door, and Presence, but that's more personal opinion than objective.
Ya know thinking about it, you're correct! I do favor 4 over 1. I was probably leaning more towards 'first of' chronology thinking than favorites....thanks!
Taurus and Stairway are nothing alike in general, apart from a "similar" intro. Even that allegedly stolen phrasing isn't identical. Apart from anything else there is a part in Taurus that is pretty much identical to Blackbird by the Beatles. It's actually more similar than the supposed similarity of the two intros. All musicians are influenced by what they hear from other writers. Otherwise, I agree with most of your choices. However, you have to take into account the importance and influence of such major albums. I would therefore put LZ 1 much nearer to the top of the list, along with LZ II. III, IV, HOtH and Graffitti were great albums but much less important as influential releases. IMO. Enjoyed the video though. Thanks.
While listening to some zeppelin bootlegs on you tube I heard something that JPP forgot he did or he would have all the proof he needed about the spirit thing. Totally floored me. JPP played what was to become the intro to stairway during of al things dazed and confused plain as day many years before any spirit accusations or even the release of stairway to heaven. I need no further proof than that little thing he played during a solo in Dazed. Just Sayin....
“Good artists borrow, great artists steal” Pablo Picasso
Take the money and run..lol
I wonder where did Picasso stole this quote from...
So are you stealing or borrowing from Picasso ?
Definitely stealing😉
Obviously your a guy that doesn’t appreciate plagiarism, I don’t blame you !
Sure. There is no bad Zep album.
Song Remains The Same. Kinda awful, but otherwise I agree. Even Coda is a great album. And with Bonzo's Montreaux it really was a Zep album, compilation or not.
First 4 albums are 100% perfect after that .....kinda meh a few good songs but overall good but not great.
@@manchesterexplorer8519 Not a fan of Physical Graffiti?
@@chadanderson9872 the latter albums all have a few good songs on them so yes . I just prefer the Raw rock n roll sound of the first 4 .
@@snapcracklenpop821It is very patchy but I like the version of 'Dazed and Confused' plus the live version of 'No Quarter' contains possibly my favourite ever Page solo.
I can’t even explain how great Physical Graffiti is. It’s a master work. I get chills just by talking about it.
I just can’t get into PG. Not a candle to Zep 1-4. Even fans of PG admit the last side of LP 4 is questionable. There are no duff tracks on 1-4. Just my opinion, I know A LOT of people really rate PG.
@@beawsbiz totally understandable, some songs are stretched too far and sound boring after 2 minutes like HoTH, TUF and the last few songs were a little weak but songs like The Rover, In My Time of Dying, Kashmir, Ten Years Gone, In the Light, Down by the Seaside push this record to #1 for me
@@beawsbiz The first 3/4 is great but the final 1/4 sounds a bit too much like filler IMO . I have always felt that there is a parallel with 'The White Album' in that respect.
Agree with your list. III is my favorite, Im glad you ranked IV on the lower end. Not that its not great , just a little played out
How can you not mention CAROUSELAMBRA from In through the out door?
That is an EPIC track
Totally agree !
Yes!!
I think it’s safe to say that Coda will always be at the bottom of any list! Brave man tho for putting IV so low. It has the hits but I totally see what you mean. III is perhaps my favorite Zeppelin album and I have a lot of time for Presence. Enjoyable video! May have to tackle this topic myself! Cheers and stay safe.
The Record Spinner Nope, that awful live album. Bought it the week it came out and I’ve only played it 3 times in 40 +years. I’ve heard better bootlegs than that.
Not for me, lol!
It’s all personal of course. Personally I think In Through the Out Door is very underrated. Surprised you gave no mention to Carouselambra. Incredible song. Complicated true to Zep form. What about I’m Gonna Crawl? Killer song. It simply exudes sex. I say not a mediocre song on the entire album. Again it’s personal.
Love I’m Gonna Crawl.
I agree, In Through The Out Door is really good. It’s often at the bottom of peoples lists but I have it up around 4 or 5. Fool in the rain, southbound Suarez, in the evening, all these songs are great.
Led Zeppelin II, absolutely the best🥇
9. Coda
8. In Through the Outdoor
7. Presence (Really solid album! It's just hard for it to climb higher because of how strong the discography is.)
6. I
5. III (Had they swapped Hats off to Harper for Hey Hey What Can I Do...this album would be 2 or 3.)
4. II
3. Houses of the Holy(3 and 4 are interchangeable.)
2. Physical Graffiti (This album has risen the most for me...just a monster record!)
1. IV (This album was my introduction to the band and I believe this is their peak.)
Great list
1- Zep II
2-Houses
3-Physical G
4-Zep IV
5-Presence
6-Zep I
7-Zep III
8- IN Thru
9-Coda
I have been listening to Zep since 1980, Great list ! You did a great job!
I was 14 when In through the Outdoor was released. I didn't know Led Zep but I bought the album and loved it. For me it was the gateway to the rest of their work so I rank it high. I can listen to it now and feel the same way I did then. It was my Led Zeppelin. So for me it is ITOD followed by II then IV then I.
Yay!!!!🥳🥳🥳mine too friend
Mine too!!!!😅
ain't nothing wrong with a Zeppelin Quarantine-a-thon. You can guess my favorite.
