yes thats what always fascinated me in his voice, he fkn sounds live just liek on the Studi recordings. Its a rarity for a singer to sound almost 100% just like on the studio recordings.

Paul Zen, Bruce and Dave were pretty much given instructions to on the outside make thier band as scary and unapproachable as possible! Rob H. was given other instructions I think with someone he met, when they started, he did not know Iron Maiden. Def Leppard was told as a matter of a fact to get directly behind Iron Maiden in all of thier tours, as if they were almost with them, and told to give the preforming Judas Priest thier own concert roam as a politeness. However, I view the English over any other country to be a threat to the U.S. citizens, and that is what Iron Maiden from x somebody sent from there to come directly to the US and track someone who was supposedly English that had come here? While i'm not responsible for pulling other Germans over to infilter the US against thier will, I did come back with some other German, that wanted to be here, and I did not. So, I decided best not to leave him abandoned in the US, there is at least one person he knows. You are all pretty insignificant, but let me note again here, "the English are the most insincere here."
and: axl rose sucks, same as cobain, daltrey couldn't sing well. Nice set guy, you haven't written a lot of better singers like Halford or DIO!
It's a shame that they didn't play the Roth era songs live at all in the 80's nor re-released them. I remember hearing "In Trance" first time in the Live Bites album, and was amazed!
They did play material from the Uli Jon Roth era. I saw them live in London during the Blackout tour. They played We Burn the Sky, Fly to the Rainbow, He's a woman she's a man and Robot man during the encore.l
That material doesn't fit the "classic lineup". :D
Mathias is not a guitar virtuoso like Uli. Uli had practiced alongside Hendrix back in the sixties. Ulis songs are far too complicated for the simpler songs that came out in the 80’s to which Mathias was a great fit for
@mattmcgovern6591 You've got it all mixed up!!! Matthias is a true GUITAR GOD AND AN OUTSTANDING VIRTUOUSO, he is among MOST TECHNICAL VIRTUOUSOS!!! Uli Roth and Michael Schenker aren't even standing next to him!!! And Roth's songs(as well as Schenker Jr.'s)This is pampering for Matthias because his own solos are much more difficult in terms of playing technique!!! That's the point that Matthias will outplay Uli,but Roth can't do Matthias's solo!!!
They were so Heavy Metal for that time... hehe...
