Fantastic Milestone to have reached Robert, Congratulations on all levels. I being one of those that grabbed an AE system when they first came out couldn't be prouder t see the forward-movement of the company. The New Black and the snap-in-mods are really exciting.
@@SalmoneTattico I'm missing a lot of different modules (from midi to samples and something for drums). Also I want to front panels and knobs to be more high quality. I want different colours and designs. I want more complex FX modules. I have a starter rack V2 for a round a 8 month and I still haven't enough believe in project to spend more money on their modules. Probably will sell it (which is also extremely hard because of lack of quality marketing from manufacturer)
@@gz625 The knobs are standard pots: to increase quality AE would probably need to (1) go to panel-mount pots and (2) change to encoders for some tasks where appropriate (like the silliness that is SEQ16). But the whole point of AE was to provide modular at a rock-bottom price, so they have a standard form factor, only use a small number of different components, I'm not sure this would be possible without moving into Eurorack prices, especially now that Behringer has put price pressure on everyone at the low end. Different colors and designs are a fine idea, as is better front panels, but certainly their black panels are a good start in this direction?
@@jukkauh sounds like this guy just wants the full Eurorack/large-format modular experience, but hasn't truly accepted (or understood) the costs required for complex features+quality hardware, at both the consumer level & via small-M.O.Q. fabricators...
That quick eject case looks amazing! So glad AE Modular is still continuing to grow!
Congrats on the success of AE! Black looks great.
Thank you! Yes, black looks awesome 😍

Thanks a lot for your early support and trust in a completely new format; people like you helped immensly to get it off the ground!
That new case is an amazing development for AE! I will buy one the day it becomes available.
This is amazing! I'm just about to buy my first ever modular. I thought I'd buy a Eurorack, but this seems cooler! Happy New Year!
I’ve been following this for years but didn’t notice the switch to black panels (finally!) and you have 1U modules and cases now ? 😂
Yes, kind of "1U"; it's a ⅓ height of regular AE modules.
They need to work on quality and design. These 2 not allowing AE to be popular
what are you missing at the current state?
