I don’t know why people keep simping for HK, or expecting them to ever offer a real MP5 or MP7. HK will literally sell to the drug cartels in Central America before ever even considering the US market
One very important feature he left out was the fact you can adjust the recoil spring so you can shoot 22sub-sonic to mini mag. It's a great feature and this rifle is very accurate, mine loved the CCI "Standard Velocity" rounds, ragged hole 25yds all day long. Bad point is it will fire out of battery, ask me how I know. HK did replace the blown up bolt, so good for them, I recommend the HKParts trigger spring kit to reduced the trigger pull even further.
Tippmann M4-22 : Best .22LR AR manufactured, bar none! Try it, you will be happy! All aluminum upper and lower with functional features(buffer weight, buffer spring, forward assist, trigger, safety selector, etc.)similar to a AR-15 but in .22LR. Added bonus: Tippmann Arms customer support/service is exceptional!
This. All this "wahwahwah market wah wah: it's a super old gun that somehow HK wants to claim now after 10 years of disavowing it because they licensed production to Walther.
Made by Umarex NOT HK. Skip it. You don’t pay extra for a brand, you pay extra for the quality that comes with the brand. It is just like FN 22lr pistol. Make these in house and charge the same and people MIGHT buy them.
Multiple issues with failure to feed and light primer strikes. I've run every brand and type of rimfire ammo known to man yet the problems persist. At least 2 to 3 failure per 20 round magazine.
I should add that when is runs it runs great and extremely accurate. Also very easy to maunally eject the round and keep going. Nature of the beast with rimfire I suppose.
I bought the pistol, very disappointed that you can't put a pistol brace on it, looked like removing the cap would allow a buffer tube to attach. All well, Umarex makes air guns mostly.
In the video it says that the stock can be replaced with any mil spec one but I’ve also come across people saying that it doesn’t work. Is the stock actually interchangeable or not? And if it’s not, is there any ways to changed it
It's a fun toy, but you have to buy new springs to get the trigger up to par (stock trigger is crappy). I bought mine new for like 425 a couple years ago , but now they're 600$? I love to plink with it and now I like it over the M&P but it needed work to get it there and is certainly more expensive. Super finicky with the right ammo (but that's all 22 semis), but the CCI AR 22 works every time. I would only get this if you have time and money to put into your 22lr AR.
A friend and I were at the meeting on Saturday. As we walked into the HK booth I said, "They won't have what we want to see." Tommy said to me, "Well what do you want?" Slightly annoyed. I turned to him and said, "What do you think we want? The MP7!" He said, "aaahhh.... maybe one day."
I got their mp5sd 22lr about a year back, and the MP5 line definitely has a bigger niche than the 416. I like mp5s, but I don't *need* to spend the 1200 minimum for a decent clone, because it's ultimately a range toy anyways. If you're in the same boat, get the mp5. There's a fairly expensive, but surprisingly robust aftermarket too. Couple of stock/brace options, a few muzzle attachments, alternate handgaurds for the pistol variant. The only downsides to the otb gun is you get 1 mag and they're fairly uncommon and equal sig mags price ranges
The Tac R1 22C is essentially the same thing. Good gun, but the lack of features and milspec compatibility is a letdown. Just go with a Tippmann M4-22.
I bought one of these when they hit the market and they're very very nice. Except the trigger. It's easily the worst trigger I've ever felt in my life and it's some kind of bizarre proprietary clockwork trigger that makes absolutely no sense so you can't do anything to fix it. If you could put an AR trigger in this gun or if it came one you could polish or tune with springs it would be a lot more viable and fun. I have the MP5SD5 also and I like the trigger alot better also. If you have to choose between the 2, get the MP5.
I have this gun it’s one awesome 22 very accurate and just runs!!!Had the M&P22 and the HK at lgs and the HK just felt like more of a solid gun to me so went with the HK no regrets
They need to bring back the HK93 or HK33 “pistols”.. or how about they start making more furniture for the G3’s, HK93 and MP5 variants? $500-$900 for an A3 stock is silly.. it’s about time they made more and brought the price back down to $200
For people that want rifle that live in an overcrowded apartment/ condominium complex who have concerns about overpentration with the right ammunition selection they might be a good choice .
LOL I have one and it's worse than just an 8lb trigger, it's gritty, clunky, the shelf feels like it's made of like, magnetic lead... It's like they told a roomful of engineers to come up with something that would technically make the gun fire but would make the shooter hate themselves at the same time.
the HK416 22 is literally the same thing as the colt m4 22. and hermmerli TAC r1, they are hella proprietary, atrocious to clean and maintain, and get dirty faster than a gassy 10/22
These guys are so far behind on what the market is looking for. Work your magic and get us a pistol MP7, or the HK433, or something OTHER than in .22LR
Umm... Uh... Didn't they already do this? Like 10 years ago? Cause... I literally have an HK "416" in 22lr IN my safe right now... That I bought in 2018. ...and I had a HK mp5 in 22lr, back in 2014... After they sued GSG for their copy. Did they just think everyone has forgotten about those??
We call them plinkers .. but these can kill just like a tank can.. only difference besides the obvious the other bad guys know where the task round came from.. I could keep shooting, and it would be really hard to tell where I'm at..prove me wrong..
If you just want the looks without the cost of the gun or ammo, you may as well go with a BB gun or airsoft gun. Then at least you can plink in your backyard whenever you want. Or you could do that with your .22 I guess. I'm not your neighbor, do what you want.
Wow, a more expensive 10/22. Nice!
Worse. A more expensive cmmg 22
@@EvanDickersonM81it’s definitely cheaper
They’d never make a 22lr MP7, because people would actually want that.
H&K - Because fuck ‘em, that’s why.
All theses guns have been on the market well over ten years. An mp7 would be perfect.
That would be a cool offering. Especially with a high cap magazine.
They did actually bring back the SP5 at least. They’re ridiculously expensive compared to what LE pays for full auto MP5s though (
Meanwhile there is an MP7 pellet gun from Umarex, it’s a single shot break barrel.
But a 22LR or 22WMR would be great.
Cool plinkers but ultimately not what people really want from H&K.
We want the dam MP7!!!
@@vicdiaz5180 hell yea

@@vicdiaz5180 speak for yourself. i sure don't want one.
Have had my 416D just over 4yrs. I've run all different kinds of ammo and never hade a single issue with it. I did change out the trigger springs.
I like how they named the .22 LR guns the proper military designations that everyone wants but didn't do that for the correct caliber versions.
HK is German for FU
HK is the worst when it comes to giving the customer what they want
And Arsenal
When you're top tier, the name sells and you don't need to please anyone

It’s like buying a vette with a lawnmower engine.
Good apartment/ condo gun with hollow points hopefully wouldn't over penetrate too much plus plenty of room for optics lasers and flashlights .
I could see it for cheaper training and something you could use to introduce the real AR-15 to new shooters. That’s just my opinion.
@@erroneous6947 an HK as a cheap training tool? If you are concerned about price you don’t get a HK.
New HK’s that aren’t actually made by HK..? Sweet! 🙄
Had one of these for a year or so for 400$ at Sportsman's Warehouse. Great shooter. Umarex has the contract to make em.
It had a false barrel correct? The barrel was basically a thin metal straw, that wont go the distance (thousands of rounds) as its competitors.
@HOLLY WOOD at least it's not made up plastic
Cool but bring back the G36 in .22LR! They were on the market and sold through as quickly as they came. Neat little guns.
Love the MP.22 (😅)
The interview was well done, as always appreciated!
These have been around for like a decade. Why are they acting like these are new?
This. All this "wahwahwah market wah wah: it's a super old gun that somehow HK wants to claim now after 10 years of disavowing it because they licensed production to Walther.
Somebody should tell Umarex to make a .22LR version of an MP7. It'd sell like hotcakes since HK won't give us the real goods.
I bought a Umarex clone like 10 years ago, its pretty cool besides the super thin walled barrel
Me too, the Walther/Umarex. So are they different since this is from HK?

It looks and feels like an relatively inexpensive air gun but costs more than a quality air gun because it's HK😂
@Melissa’s Mess and it's a real gun
HK Parts has the adapter, you definitely can put one on if you choose.
Umarex is the parent company of Walther so they make a lot more than airsoft.
