If you get lucky it or the metal shield can be really helpful(paired with bounce/super bounce) it would be enough to make a player darkling most likely not try their luck especially if you have a skill such as soul fire that allows you to actually deal damage if they fail to fight back
Once I was just innocently getting used to the game on a normal 10 week game against ai and one of them became a darkling and only attacked me I died twice the other 2 ai just used vanishes the entire time and I was on the other side of the map (they where weak ai)
Yeah, I get that feeling. Even the weak CPUs know how to avoid a Darkling perfectly. Take me for example: Constantly last, even in the turn order. And every time I'm a Darkling they rush into battles and forfeit them so they're safe for 2 turns. Until I hit them with the Ill Cartographo and footsore combo. Works like a charm. And they can't get their hands on vanishes easily either-
Banish is actually amazing! You only use it against bosses or other players, most of the time you win the battle and also level up afterwards, healing all the HP
@@zacharymabb4873its not to make them vulnearable to magic, its couse not all bosses have bounce/super bounce. Besides… magic is TOO good in this game. (Surprised darkling dident giga flare) unless its mage vs mage “build wise” magic tends to OHKO!
@@joshuagarcia4077 Let's just say there's a damn good reason why darklings are almost impossible to defeat without an ungodly amount of equipment and items.
I appreciate the Yo-Kai Watch reference from whoever was fighting the Darkling
That wasn't just luck you came prepared
I mean. The game when boioled down to the core… it’s just los Vegas in a nutshell
That Sheild must've been hard to get if it's powerful enough to kill a Darkling!
Either via a Red Loot Space in Gunnbjorn or a White Loot Space in the Castle in the Clouds.

I stalled one out with two revivals and an angelic choker, then killed him. Not as cool as this was, but happy i pulled it off.
Cat ears GAMING
Whoa! You got Banish? That's very risky!

I thought AI auto bounce
@GoldRichness nope. It only auto counters strikes.

Very cool gameplay!
Wow I have never seen that before
I actually have a liegit question, when getting the overlord’s crown can you actually steal towns?
Absolutely. You spawn a monster and immediately enter combat with it. Win and the town becomes yours.
@@zacharymabb4873 wow that mind blowing broken. 🤯

@@zacharymabb4873 I mean I definitely understand why.
