skipping vfw this year..... cost makes it a bi-annual thing for me, and this autumn i want to try to do season passes at Past Times and Pinball PA and get out there enough to make each worth it
This is MECCA for me as I was raised in arcades. I will make the pilgrimage as it's only 4 hours from Hamilton, ON ! I may ask the owners if my ashes can be spread in the coin collectors of a few dozen of my fav arcade machines when I die 🤓
sooner you get there the better. collections of this size tend to overwhelm as repairs mount and available help has limited time. see any recent videos of Tim Arnold's pinball hall of fame in Vegas. it looks like nearly a quarter of the games are shut down.
@@acidgougewaltz I have been going here for over a year, and I can tell you that the maintenance is a number one priority. When a machine does go down, its usually back up and running by the end of the day. Also, they have a collection of around 3000 pins to pull from, so if something major does break they just bring out another one from the back. It helps that they are only open to the public Thurs-Sunday with the other days being devoted to maintenance. This place is truly the best collection of pinball and games in the US.
@@brianhall7639 i have been there many many times, but the fact is pinball machines breakdown over many plays or being ignored or being abused. mr berk has a wonderful team that keeps up pretty well. being closed mon-wed doesn't hurt. i think mr berk also has some volunteers that come in and do repairs too. all of them deserve a big christmas bonus for the work they do. but eventually under even the best circumstances the work will begin to overwhelm
Easily one of THE best arcades in the world today, so many vintage machines that you won't find anywhere else, great video man.
thank you. i appreciate that
Arcade heaven 😍
I never thought I would want to come back to Warren, Ohio...
there are FAR worse places
@@acidgougewaltz like?
@@Trishlicious Detroit? Saudi Arabia? Rwanda? the list is nearly endless
This place looks amazing. I’m planning on going there this summer.
you should plan on it being awesome
It's awsome, it's 20$ entry fee per person, seems high but when you think of it, all the games are free play so it is a fair deal
@@wickedsmitty11 $12 to see a movie or $20 for 8 hours or more of pinball. no competition
@@wickedsmitty11 20 bucks is not a bad deal for an entire day of entertainment.
Planning on making a five hour drive this summer to check this place out.
that's about my drive
Wow!!! That is incredible!!
Un paraiso !!!
me habla no espanol. mi gusta el gato con botes
UPDATE: I’m going there near the end of the month before the Ann Arbor VFW show.

@@JayPase fingers crossed. it's a tough job
