Selbstlader M1916 Marksman is just so reliable over all. Nice recoil and accuracy, huge magazine, decent fire rate and very fast reload. It’s the best medic gun for me.
Nice to see some more Cei-Rigotti love! I feel like this thing often flies under the radar because it’s the starter gun, but it’s honestly been the most well-rounded and reliable gun I’ve used. I have 5x as many kills with the Factory variant than any other medic gun. I switch between 3 guns, depending on the map: 1. Autoloading 8 .25 Extended for close range maps like Argonne and Fort De Vaux 2. RSC 1917 Factory for more open maps like Monte Grappa 3. Cei-Rigotti Factory for everything else
Most viable SLRs imo: 1. Cei-Rigotti It has decent mag size, good recoil, good hip fire for an SLR which makes it viable for CQC, and is 3 BTK until 54m which is good for an SLR that has decent hip fire. Some say it's a jack of all trades. 2. RSC 1917 It's hard to use, but it's the SLR with the fastest TTK until 70m, and, unlike the Autoloading 8.35, you can kill more than 1 enemy with full health in 1 mag. 3. Farquhar-Hill and Howell Automatic They both are very similar with only the reload time and the recoil that make them different. They can hold 19, 20, 21 bullets in 1 mag, have pretty fast reload time, very good recoil, and pretty fast muzzle velocity. 4. M1907 SL It's a very good gun to flank with with 20-21 bullets in 1 mag, good hipfire, and it's 3 BTK until 38m. The Sweeper variant, however, is absolutely not recommended as the other 2 variants are statistically much better, but if you really can't click 5 times per second, then I recommend you to use the Fedorov Avtomat. 5. Mondragón It has fast muzzle velocity, decent mag size, and is 3 BTK on all ranges.
This is unrelated to the video but for any of my boys who use the m1903 experimental, to cut the time to swap from bolt action to semi auto you can just press the fire mode button and double tap your swap weapons key or button, great video though kris
Anewlevel I'd say it's impractical but it's still immersive and the experimental part of it has saved me on occasion, but I'm more of a smle type of guy
Yeah, i knew that throughout my time playing it. And i'll say i love the M1903 Experimental so much. The fact that it can alteranate between the semi-auto and single-action mode has saved my skin numerous times.

Since l changed from cell-rigotti to m1907 sl trench I have even reaching first at my games[conquest-operations] 3 times in the ratio of 20 games. I recommend using it if you play as an aggressive medic it's a game changer
1/ CeiGirotti, M1907 - "DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" Medic When you spent hours using them to unlocking other guns, but finally found these were DAMN FINE BAES! 2/ Avtomat - "SIMPLE MAN, SIMPLE MIND" Medic Giving you some other moment to think about other shit to do, not unconsciously thinking of which moment to tap that left mouse. 3/ S-1906 - "ANTI EVERYTHING" Medic Fight off scouts, fight off MG guys, fight Assaults, fight planes... 300 kills with it makes people insane and cliche that they forget to change gun. 4/ Mondragon - "OK, Ok, ok..." Medic You have had ENOUGH of that S-1906 and finally want something like it, not it. Kinda friendzone-ing the S-1906 and you like doing that. 5/ Autoloading 8 - "QUICK" Medic From joining, tapping, killing, saving, throwing pouches... to cumming, they tend to be quick in everything. 6/ General Liu - "FAKE" Medic When you like G98 Infantry but hate its sight and too clumsy to use it, you want a versatile and more forgiving gun. Or you're ultra-Chinese players... 7/ FarquharHill, Howell - "TRICKY AND COMPLICATED" Medic The weirdest, most insane invention available? YOU WANT IT! I'm surprised the Selbstlader M1916 wasn't on this list or at least replacing the Mondragon. 25+1 round magazine capacity, fair reload speed, and 3 shot kill at any range? How can't you put some respeck on that?
I'm always aggro with it. Gotta have the M1911 on your hip, though... Or at least the Auto revolver. I bounce in and out of cover with the Factory like a madman. So much fun to use. You won't get a better gun that forces you to be constantly active and on your toes.
Whenever I use the selbstlater 1906 scoped, it destroys any scout and dominates at almost any distance. My personal favorite and I would argue it's the best all around.
Amin Afshari I like it but I find that the bullets don’t always land where they should. I prefer the Howell cause it has the sniper variant with the bipod which makes it far more deadly.
My toplist would be: 1. Cei Rigotti factory 2. Farquhar-hill optical 3. Federov Avtomat optical 4. Selbstlader 1906 factory 5. Rsc 1917 optical 6. Howell Automatic Factory I like a challenge and some particular weapons are too easy to use. And in my opinion the Mondragon doesn’t need skills, the auto loading is too much spam, the m1907 SL is not a challenge for me and the Selbstlader 1917 is for noobs, it doesn’t require skill. My top gun in the whole game is the Modragon, you can ask me to do anything with that gun. It a combination of its accuracy, bullet speed and recoil and sights. the sights are just perfect for me with a thin isolated pin that has a lot of peripheral vision. It might be down to how confident i am in it though as i was originally drawn because it was the only medic gun that looked like a proper handsome WW1 rifle.

I think that also the farquar-hill should be included: 3 shot kill, 20 rounds box magazine and a managable recoil. It is a very strong weapon for short and medium range fights
My favourites are the Mondragón Storm for long range and the M1907 Trench for short range. I need to play more with the Farquhar though, as it seems like a gun I'd enjoy.
I mean, the Selbstlader M1916 has similar stats to the Mondragon in terms of 3 shot range, but it's hard to say no to an extra 15+1 rounds per magazine.
General Liu has to be my favorite medic rifle. It's got the fastest ttk given if you land a headshot it's a ohk but also doubles as a standard fast firing self loading rifle.
If you have any lag at all, the SL guns are absolutely horrible. At this point in BF1's life cycle I often have to play on overseas servers. I had to grind the SLs to get some guns I wanted, and I was losing 75% of CQC gunfights. It wasn't about accuracy. The ROF is so low that I just couldn't put enough bullets into enemies to bring them down before they killed me. Same thing at midrange. At one point I got the feeling that guys were literally seeking me out and parachuting down onto my area because they knew I was defenseless. Using the SLs was like running around the map with a giant sign saying PLEASE KILL ME NOW. The best thing about the SLs is I'll never have to use them again now that I unlocked the decent rifles. God that was awful!!
As someone with almost 1000 hours of medic under my belt, I strongly disagree with your top 3. If you're an excellent shot, the 3 you mentioned are great, but for most people, the farquar Hill, Howell sniper, and 1916 Marksman are all much more useful. Thanks for the high quality videos!
All down to skill and preferences at the end of the day, I love the top 3, but a couple of my noob mates really dig the m1916 and Howell cos they hold lots of ammo
With skill cannons like Autoloading 8 .35 or RSC 1916, you should pay extra attention when picking a reliable sidearm.. and then there's me, running with RSC factory alongside Kolibri..
You handicap yourself using the Sweeper over the Trench or Factory versions. The automatic feature is not worth sacrificing better hipfire accuracy or recoil.
My favorite medic gun is the rsc because I mostly use the martini henry so the effective range of the rsc is easy for me to adjust to when I decide to use the medic class

Erm, yes I do PTFO. I don't sit back like a hill humping fuck. I capture flags, heal and revive my teammates. The 8.35 is an aggressive medic gun and I can easily contest all the automaticos and hellriegels. You may think that PTFOing is hard with a 5 round slr, but if you use cover efficiently and are competent with your sidearm; in my case the obrez, you can easily dominate. If you don't believe me, check out Ascend Metal Slug's wombo combo videos.
Benny Glock You can't not PTFO with the Model 8, regardless of the variant. The Marksman gives you the best longer range option of the three, but the gun is a poor weapon outside of 70m and if you miss a shot, you're risking getting killed. The closer you are, the easier it is to hit enemies and less likely you are to miss.
Came here looking for someone defending the 8.35 - simply the best weapon in the game, scrubs can stick to the Avtomat or the 8.25 for all they're worth.
Kris, I have to dissagree with at least 2 of this picks : M1907 - I have kinda "relationship" with this gun. It's my most used weapon ( 800 kills ), yet I don't really like it. Recoil is jumpy as hell, even on swepper model, and spread after around 20m is just so bad, limiting gun just to close range only. Yeah, close range gun with 300 rpm....Well, most of this 800 kills was made in early days of BF1, and before I bought premium when m1907 was one of just two reliable ( well, semi-reliable ) ways of playing "close to action" medic. Now when we have fedorov, this gun is kinda pointless. Autoloading - ok, extended model is fun ( if spam-fire-y as hell ^^ ), but factory/marksman are horrible. Like who the hell thought that 5 bullet magazine gun should have 3 hit kill is byond me. Same problem trashes the Selb1906 and Liu. No player can consisteltly hit 60+% accuracy, wich this gun demands to kill reliably. And needing to go through looong relaod after every-single-kill really makes this gun unfun for me. Anyway my list would be like this : 5- Farquhad storm 4 - Selb m1916 optical/marksman 3 - cel rigoti optical 2 - moandragoon sniper 1 - fedorow optical
@@d34thnote79 The rsc is a situational weapon. If you brought that to a map like fort de vaux or even sometime like amiens youll get outgunned more than 50% of the time even if your aiming is on point.
Erne e Well I've had a lot of success using it even on maps like Fort De Vaux which I play the most. I'm often in at least top 3 kills on server so meaby I'm just really good, very immodest thing to say, although I see that this weapon gives me advantage more often than not, meaby it's about positioning yourself. Obviously sometimes I get overrunned but it's mostly due to the fact I had to fight like 2v10. You have to remember you have 2-3 kills with RCS + 1-3 kills with sidearm, I use Revolver MK VI so in CQC you can possibly get 3 kills up to I believe 10 meters, I feel a lot less accurate with revolvers than RCS though thats why I wrote from 1 to 3 kills. My point is, in CQC you can get up to 6 kills with weapons I use pretty fast so if you are accurate you shouldn't get overrunned unless 3 enemies are shooting at you at the same time, but I don't think any weapon can save you in this situation without a lot of luck
When I bought BF1 I only played single player for months. It was only after I saw a hud-less version of MP did I find I was interested in playing, hence my impression of the Mondragon was based on the absolutely terrible SP version. Playing with it in MP however, its kinda like a 1906 but with slightly worse stats for double the bullets. I use it occassionally, but I think the Farquar-Hill and RSC are better.

Catfish FoReal super late but give me the extended.25 for that sweet spot between reliability and quick kill time. Not too bad at long range either.

The RSC is my favorite medic weapon. It makes those fire fights with 3 or more enemies super rewarding. I can even counter snipe on some maps.

General Liu has to be my favorite medic rifle. It's got the fastest ttk given if you land a headshot it's a ohk but also doubles as a standard fast firing self loading rifle.

If you have any lag at all, the SL guns are absolutely horrible. At this point in BF1's life cycle I often have to play on overseas servers. I had to grind the SLs to get some guns I wanted, and I was losing 75% of CQC gunfights. It wasn't about accuracy. The ROF is so low that I just couldn't put enough bullets into enemies to bring them down before they killed me. Same thing at midrange. At one point I got the feeling that guys were literally seeking me out and parachuting down onto my area because they knew I was defenseless. Using the SLs was like running around the map with a giant sign saying PLEASE KILL ME NOW. The best thing about the SLs is I'll never have to use them again now that I unlocked the decent rifles. God that was awful!!

As someone with almost 1000 hours of medic under my belt, I strongly disagree with your top 3. If you're an excellent shot, the 3 you mentioned are great, but for most people, the farquar Hill, Howell sniper, and 1916 Marksman are all much more useful. Thanks for the high quality videos!
All down to skill and preferences at the end of the day, I love the top 3, but a couple of my noob mates really dig the m1916 and Howell cos they hold lots of ammo
The Howell with the Bipod is underrated you can use it like a lmg, the only drawback is the horrible sight picture making it useless at range

My favorite medic guns are the cei rigotti, fedorov avtomat and rsc 1917, love the medic class
With skill cannons like Autoloading 8 .35 or RSC 1916, you should pay extra attention when picking a reliable sidearm.. and then there's me, running with RSC factory alongside Kolibri..
Mondrgon, RSC and recently bolt action Gen.Liu Rifle. The last one is very interesting. One shot kill in sweetspot and when hit headshot.

You handicap yourself using the Sweeper over the Trench or Factory versions. The automatic feature is not worth sacrificing better hipfire accuracy or recoil.
My favorite medic gun is the rsc because I mostly use the martini henry so the effective range of the rsc is easy for me to adjust to when I decide to use the medic class

Erm, yes I do PTFO. I don't sit back like a hill humping fuck. I capture flags, heal and revive my teammates. The 8.35 is an aggressive medic gun and I can easily contest all the automaticos and hellriegels. You may think that PTFOing is hard with a 5 round slr, but if you use cover efficiently and are competent with your sidearm; in my case the obrez, you can easily dominate. If you don't believe me, check out Ascend Metal Slug's wombo combo videos.
Benny Glock You can't not PTFO with the Model 8, regardless of the variant. The Marksman gives you the best longer range option of the three, but the gun is a poor weapon outside of 70m and if you miss a shot, you're risking getting killed. The closer you are, the easier it is to hit enemies and less likely you are to miss.
Came here looking for someone defending the 8.35 - simply the best weapon in the game, scrubs can stick to the Avtomat or the 8.25 for all they're worth.
I would have put Seb 1916 at number two and get rid of the Cei completely, but I like the rest of the list!
I prefer the autoloading extended for closer range combat as the accuracy is better than the sweeper
The mondragon is the best considering it has a good fire rate, 10 rounds, and is a three shot kill at any range

Kris, I have to dissagree with at least 2 of this picks :
M1907 - I have kinda "relationship" with this gun. It's my most used weapon ( 800 kills ), yet I don't really like it. Recoil is jumpy as hell, even on swepper model, and spread after around 20m is just so bad, limiting gun just to close range only. Yeah, close range gun with 300 rpm....Well, most of this 800 kills was made in early days of BF1, and before I bought premium when m1907 was one of just two reliable ( well, semi-reliable ) ways of playing "close to action" medic. Now when we have fedorov, this gun is kinda pointless.
Autoloading - ok, extended model is fun ( if spam-fire-y as hell ^^ ), but factory/marksman are horrible. Like who the hell thought that 5 bullet magazine gun should have 3 hit kill is byond me. Same problem trashes the Selb1906 and Liu. No player can consisteltly hit 60+% accuracy, wich this gun demands to kill reliably. And needing to go through looong relaod after every-single-kill really makes this gun unfun for me.
Anyway my list would be like this :

I generally believe that people who don't like RCS just can't aim precisely enough cause that's what that weapon is all about really
@@d34thnote79 The rsc is a situational weapon. If you brought that to a map like fort de vaux or even sometime like amiens youll get outgunned more than 50% of the time even if your aiming is on point.
Erne e Well I've had a lot of success using it even on maps like Fort De Vaux which I play the most. I'm often in at least top 3 kills on server so meaby I'm just really good, very immodest thing to say, although I see that this weapon gives me advantage more often than not, meaby it's about positioning yourself. Obviously sometimes I get overrunned but it's mostly due to the fact I had to fight like 2v10. You have to remember you have 2-3 kills with RCS + 1-3 kills with sidearm, I use Revolver MK VI so in CQC you can possibly get 3 kills up to I believe 10 meters, I feel a lot less accurate with revolvers than RCS though thats why I wrote from 1 to 3 kills. My point is, in CQC you can get up to 6 kills with weapons I use pretty fast so if you are accurate you shouldn't get overrunned unless 3 enemies are shooting at you at the same time, but I don't think any weapon can save you in this situation without a lot of luck

RSC, Mondragon, Cei Rigotti. Fuck Autoloading. Most fucked up assignment was when you had to do 50 kills with the Autoloading Marksman
Kris, how often do you use the Howell automatic? I find that rifle to be strong at close to medium range.
Autoloading extended is good but if you miss 2 shots with the 8.35 then you need to reload and the reload takes z’n aiternity

When I bought BF1 I only played single player for months. It was only after I saw a hud-less version of MP did I find I was interested in playing, hence my impression of the Mondragon was based on the absolutely terrible SP version. Playing with it in MP however, its kinda like a 1906 but with slightly worse stats for double the bullets. I use it occassionally, but I think the Farquar-Hill and RSC are better.
Battlefield's whole draw is its multiplayer... Like what the actual fuck 😂

Probably the rifle grenade kills, you get more per spawn, and they can be fired into rooms/trenches or at busy choke points to finish people off.
