    Goosebumps. Tears in my eyes.
There are no words to describe how powerful that episode is.
Always told my family I was gonna have my children in natural birth and they find it so odd and crazy for me to say.
Thank you for reminding me that I don't need to change my mind rather I need to change who I speak to about this subject.
Thank you for reminding us all how everything in nature & creation is so accurate to the point.
God choose women for this divine purpose for a reason.
We all have this POWER in us.
Time to unlock it and create magic in a world that desperately needs it.
That's how we're healing and teaching the next generation.
    Thank you x100 ❤
    Love y'all from the bottom
    Of my heart!! 🩵✨✨

This was a beautiful episode. As someone who surrendered my journalism career to devote to therapeutic work, there were so many moments that resonated with me. The part about journalist being intuitive was right on point and hearing the intricacies of the birth fund makes me even more grateful for Elaine answering the call. Also, the Oprah moment was everything. Thank you ladies!

I wish I had known about you when I had my daughter 10 years ago. I had a very healthy pregnancy with no complications and then a natural water birth. But all our friends and family convinced me to do it in the hospital instead of at home because we couldn't afford everything to do it safe enough by today's medical world's standards. The hospital we went to in Denver was very supportive of my birth plan and getting my placenta encapsulated, but when my daughter was born, she lost oxygen for 5 minutes and apparently it was a very rare thing they couldn't explain. They were so afraid we'd sue so they took really good care of her and flew in the best specialists in Colorado and they saved her life. But she was in the NICU for a month. She's super healthy now but they told me she'd probably have brain damage and didn't even know if she'd make it for the first 2 weeks. I guess I'm glad we were in the hospital but part of me thinks all that wouldn't have happened if I'd had her at home like I wanted to, but was pressured by everyone around me to have her in the hospital. It would've been a less traumatic transition for my child into this realm.

This was a very powerful episode that I resonated with more than I thought I would. It really helped me to put somethings into perspective about where I am in my journey and where I'm going. From Journalism to motherhood, to receiving the call to be of assistance to mothers. I'm grateful to you both for this discussion and your work. Thank you for sharing the light that will help others to spark up!

Thank you for the conversation, much needed I saw in a documentary that mid-wives were all black and it became illegal to be a mid-wive and that is how NURSING came to pass with the layers of academia, tests, licenses it made mid-wives almost non existent because a NURSE can assist with delivering a baby, and a mid-wive could no longer practice cause it was illegal. My fears of having a baby are dwindling I used to be so scared to give birth, but now I am like my body was made for this and it will do what it will do.
