Great job, Dad! I found one used without manual and was wondering about the platform setup. You very neatly addressed my concerns. It seemed flimsy to my layman's eye, and you affirmed. I may install four additional brackets. Rock on.

The biggest mistake I made!! I purchased the mini crib (bassinet) because it said 0-6 months. Two months later my son was outgrowing it. I went ahead and ordered the crib extension for a ridiculous amount of money only to find out that I also needed to purchase the mattress for another $200. In addition, the accessories are very expensive such as the canopy fabric that cost me $100. I should have gone with the Ikea brand🥴🥴 I agree, I could’ve allocated the extra cash to my son’s college account.
