I totally wanna try doing something like this. But there's always some line out.... Each line has its perks: Announcements -- Blue Line. Smooth/calming. "City Feel" -- Orange Line. Dark, cold, always shit going down on the OL Cars -- Red Line. Oldies but goodies. +1 Festive carpeted seats... Views -- Green Line. Greeeeeeeen. Time travel -- Mattapan
Hi there. I did this speedrun about a year and a half ago (with Union Square extension but without Medford) and I think you can definitely improve this time a lot by backtracking less. We got sub 8 hours and that was with the 31 bus sucking. Perhaps using different starting and end points might be better (Heath St is very close to the D line). Also not sure why you went to Downtown Crossing twice on the Orange line when you'd be going there later anyways. Either way seems like a good run. Loved the commuter rail as we used it as well.
I think my reasoning for starting with the Orange Line is wanting to start somewhere closer to where I live, but that definitely wasn't optimal. I think for my next run I might start with the Blue Line from Wonderland and end with the Orange Line which should reduce backtracking, and I'll keep the fact that Heath Street isn't far from the D line in mind. Thanks for the suggestions, as I didn't check with anyone on this route before the run.
I was surprised to see that the arrival and departure melodies of the Boston subway are exactly the same as those of Fallout 4. A very well-made game. Would love to travel around Boston to see the sights in and around Boston to find spots that match the game.
Just int the future you could have transferred to a E train - Medford hillside, at lechemere, and done that after you finished the D to union square and then back tracked to park on the E branch .
Great video. I like seeing real time tours. Im planning on going to Boston for a couple days in a few weeks. I will be relying on public transit to get around the city and the outskirts. Can i just pay with my Google pay on my phone or do i have to download an app for it to work. Or do i have to purchase a charlie card? Tia.
Nice! I loved Miles in Transits attempt. But it's so great that you did an updated version with GLX.
Super underrated nice job!

Many years ago I rode the elevated trains, And trackless trolly buses in the 1960s. Bus fare was 25 cents.
Awesome video ! Very enjoyable
After the d branch you could have walked from reservoir to Cleveland circle, it’s super close
very cool

You should try this during the weekday when the times are more consistent but other than that, props!

Very good.😊😊😊
Why not just get off the orange line at state to get on the blue line? :)
You forgot to include the Silver Line
Bro they finna makin it more problematic 😭
you didn't really complete it, the silver line has underground stops too
so it kind of qualifies as a subway
That's like saying the septa route 66 bus is a trolley because it has wires
Why are you covering your head ?
Identity protection likely
4:40 no way he just said Ohio or am I just hearing stuff
