These Railway Watch Towers used to be fairly frequent. Imagine a snapshot of America where these were in every small town, where automated traffic lights seldom existed, and this was the norm.

Hahahah no problem! I'd love to see more people explore their local areas, so much history that gets lost or forgotten - and we're only talking a few hundred years here in the US!!
