Absolutely fantastic to see Willie again when I was a kid in the early 70s I was a massive fan., I had a clip board in his colours I spent hour's painting it and getting the signwrighting correct. Then Willie spotted it while I was walking round the pits at Brafield and signed it for me I came home and covered the signature with clear fablon so it wouldn't rub off, those were the day's
R.I.P Kay x Nice 1 boys great to see Willie Harrison on your blog many fond memories at Sheffield in the 70s and early 80s watching him race he even let me sit his car in the pits when I was about 10 years old I will never forget it 😎… Well done to grant too brilliant ! 👌🏽
Great to see Willy out and about. One of my faves from the 70s. One of the few perks of being over 50 is that I was around to see drivers like him at their prime. Willy, Smith, Wolfenden, Esau. Great days.
I was a Willie Harrison fan and was gutted when he broke his leg in the pits at Bradford in 1979 and was unable to race. It was the final of the Daily Mirror Grand Prix, Stu Smith then went on to win the final.
I seem to recall Smith didnt accept the Grand Prix title after Willie broke his leg, or am i imagining that ! Fantastic to see and hear from Willie , was always a big fan and still get goosebumps when i think of Sept 82. " gentlemen start your engines" .what an evening
so good to see willie looking great for his age i was there when he won the gold roof everybody including smithy and wolfy fans were going beserk cheering willie over the line
So good to see the Brisca Legend that is Willie Harrison on your Vlog Nige.... my favourite ever stockcar driver closely followed by his son Paul! Wilie still telling a great tale about his races with Smithy too.... 🏁❤️
Willie Harrison, wow. I went to my first world final Belle Vue 1972 when he lost his front axle and Smithy won. Followed stock cars through the 70s but not much since. Good to see he’s still alive and kicking.
