This was really helpful video! 😊👍 I use Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pale Pink. 💕 And yes, it is sometimes tricky to apply evenly. 😅 I'll never use dark or highly pigmented ones...
Thank you, this was so helpful. Especially the placement techniques! I really appreciated that you put on the different blushes on camera. Very useful! :)
Hey Megan! I'm glad it was helpful. I made this video with you in mind. I will do highlighters next! I don't think it matters too much which highlighters you use with which blush colors. That's what I didn't address that as much. But I can talk about it a little in my next one. 😀
I’m the opposite and have had to tone down from going heavy handed from the 80’s - I always picked cool undertones but someone put Melba on me and it’s amazing, as far as looking like my cheeks are flushing - I swear it looks so blah, and not something I would have been drawn to. I like Tea rose by NYX on you. I love Bobbi Brown blushes, powders and cream. I look better I feel with it closer to my nose, underneath my eyes - it takes the attention away from the larger space between my nose and mouth, and overall longer face from aging, so I don’t go by the rules, I had to play around and figure out what worked, and it definitely changed with age(joy).
your makeup looks beautiful!!! I'll do everything you say to have mine look as nice as yours! :) I normally don't gravitate towards blush but i heard a long time ago to try to choose a color similar to the color produced when you pinch your cheeks, so i always try to match that!
Blush is one of the hardest makeup items for me because of rosacea - some days my face is fine, some days my entire face is bright red, which makes me not want to add anything. Any tips? My favorite neutral blush is by tarte, but I couldn't tell you which one. Could you start adding what makeup you're wearing in each video? For this one, I'd like to know which foundation/cc cream, and which lip products. Thanks!
I get that. You don't want to put blush on when you already feel like theres redness in your skin. My best suggestion would be to use a color corrector beneath the foundation to even your skin tone out. When I worked at MAC they had a great one in their prep and prime line. It worked wonders. But I just checked and it's discontinued. Smashbox has a redness correcting primer. I wouldn't perhaps try something like that underneath your foundation. Once your skin is neutralized, you can add blush. Or, just use bronzer and forget blush! Or sweep some bronzer, or one of the neutral colored blushes I talked about on your cheeks.
@@karinaeveline I had completely forgotten about face color-correcting - everybody talks about undereye color-correcting and rarely about face. Thanks!
I love the natural look topic.

I would like to try Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouges. I like the color powder pink! Thanks for watching! :)

Drop any questions you have about blush here! And let me know your favorite natural colors!

Totally! I’m changing placement over time as well. I agree that Melba looks so blah and then on, it’s super natural and pretty!

That's a good way to think about it if you want to match your own natural colour!
Stunning!! I subscribed 😍😍
Thank you so much!!
Hi, what’s on your lips and eyes? Pretty…
This was a long time ago so I don’t remember exactly, but I think the eyes was the hourglass scattered light eyeshadow - I don’t remember the lips!

I will start including what I'm wearing! In this video I'm wearing the IT Cosmetics CC cream with 50 SPF. My lip color is DGAF by MAC!

@@mollymccann5043 That's true. It really does help! Let me know if you try it.
Is blush baby a neutral undertone ?
Yah I would say it’s neutral, if anything slightly on the cooler side
Such a great video
Glad you think so!
