Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール, Doragon Bōru) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 through 1995, and its 519 individual chapters were published into 42 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. Inspired by the Chinese folk novel Journey to the West, it follows the adventures of its lead character, Son Goku from his childhood into old age. The manga series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media, in the United Kingdom by Gollancz Manga, and in Australia and New Zealand by Chuang Yi.
Dragon Ball has since been adapted into three different anime series, seventeen animated feature films, three television specials, a collectible trading card game, and a large number of video games. A live-action film has been in development since 2002, and is now slated for release on April 10, 2009.

1:52 is the theme that plays when Freeza almost drowns Goku, also when they finally call upon Namek's dragon if I'm correct... God I love this whole track!
1.51 Greatest music ever heard in a movie. Baddak the only sayan who fought Freeza when he destroyed Planet Bejita. Never a song had ever link so well to that very moment when Songoku's father died but still having one last vision : the one where he could see his son facing Freeza in the future

Bejita(dead) talks to >Goku when he is under the water, I loved that part....
Same feeling here bro .... the 3 last chords take more time ... I searched for that version and did not find it neither ... actually I was also looking for the choral part, which reminds me of the death of barduk (made me cry while I was a child) ... and found it here :)

@hanakun I can accept it because as you said, Goku is not a great thinker. and honestly in the comic, it happened much faster, maybe there wasn't enough time. THe tv show of course drags things out to make it more dramatic (and sometimes messing up the timing).
Either way, one of the best manga/anime of all time.
This soundtrack alone made the Tree of Might movie awesome. But Turles helped too :)

@AoiKageNoChikara yeah I guess it's to keep people like us from filling up the page. I pretty much agree, I like synth if it actually sounds like synth, and not fake orchestra. Real orchestra or real synth. =)
Just found out the Trunks theme "Battle Point Unlimited" is taken from a song by Propaganda called Murder of Love (look for it on YT!!). I wonder if they were big fans, or if Propaganda actually made the music for DBZ! haha

@AoiKageNoChikara That's good to know about them not cropping them on the disc releases. Still, it leaves three points, Voices, Music, Filler.
I do like the idea of editing to keep with the manga, BUT if you look at the original manga, Toriyama filled it with one page drawings of things like Goku and Piccolo driving cars! Basically, he made the filler, he was expanding on the manga. I noticed DBZ has quite a few plot holes in the manga anyway. But I didn't notice it in DB.

@ChristopherJacques I understand what you mean. What I think is maybe Goku thought It would be , how can I say it... A REALLY BAD THING if he left cell and returned safe to earth...He chose to sacrifice himself...Kaio sama and the planet kaio ...well, Goku is not known for being a great thinker...

just seen a few episodes of dbz kai...they did a great job on the graphics but they should have kept the old ost.I mean they've kept the original voice acting but why change OST?

@AoiKageNoChikara Well in my opinion, I think if they're going to change everything else, then they should just change the animation too. I'd love to see it redrawn. But instead they changed most things, but not all, so it's pointless to me.
What plot holes bother you most? I was really surprised to see so many in DBZ.. Like- why didn't Goku just teleport back to earth after leaving Cell on Kai's planet? =P Maybe not a plot hole... but it didn't seem realistic to me.
