Mia , airfryer is also designed to reduce fat and oils in the meat we cook in it. So when we line it with an aluminium foil or parchment paper the oil does not collect at the bottom of the fryer pan. It’s definitely more easy to clean but a healthier option would be to not use the liner and let the oil settle at the bottom.

I got a silicon basket which fits into air fryer . Bought from Amazon. If u really wanna take the oil off can keep the foil paper underneath which will collect oil
