This vod has some nice info if you have never played shaman & are in a very casual guild. You lost me with this talent build. #1 you don't have 1 point in improved cleanse spirit. That is just a bad idea unless you know 100% that you will NEVER be asked to dispel magic. Ancestral Awakening is not very good or useful in PvE. Elemental precision is a must have if you want to use Telluric Currents to its potential. YOU WANT HIT CAP as resto shaman now. Nice try but this talent build is off.
The absolute worst talent spread from someone giving out wow guides I've seen since that meta goblin dude lmao. On what planet do you drop elemental precision as a resto shaman?
Whats the purpose of putting talents into Telluric Currents if you're not putting the elemental points in that give you hit rating for your spirit. If your Lightning Bolts miss, you're not going to get the mana and then you're just wasting mana. Instead, I've seen people dropping the 3 points from Ancestral Awakening and dropping the points from Improved Shields to put 2 points into Concussion (6% more LB dmg) and 3 points into Elemental Precision so your Lightning Bolts don't miss.
I run the mobility talen build and seems to be working so far haha but overall man, and im not downing on you at all *ive watched a lot of your guides* this guide is so amazing and is helping me a lot. There's a lot of stuff i didn't know since it's my first time playing Cata. 10/10 ❤
Great tutorial only thing i would change is the Mana totem instead of Healing totem cuz im getting Oom SO FAST.. maybe im doing something wrong, heroics are a bitch
You probably are doing something wrong indeed if you feel you think you would have to rely on Mana Spring Totem. So, stack spirit. If your are gearing then look for only pieces that have plenty of spirit, and get Darkmoon Card Tsunami asap to boost it over 2k with Heartsong enchant procs. What he doesn't mention in the video is that Power Torrent is not necessarily better than Heartsong. It's even expensive, so Heartsong would be mandatory on a 346 ilevel weapon as you get a lot of benefits. I would get Power Torrent only for an epic weapon you will likely not replace soon. Don't go try to heal without proper trinkets. Otherwise reforge any crit or mastery into Spirit (if your gearing still) you will want to start healing heroics once you get around 1300-1500 spirit. You just having a hard time going OOM if you don't got your stats and gear balanced out. Good luck mate.
Thank you :) was slotted into my guilds raid group 1 for this Saturday and literally haven't played healer since MoP retail. Will be watching this multiple times
I believe you could also use Flame Shock, Unlesse elements, & then healing rain. It really pumps up the healing of Healing rain. I do this sometimes with Riptide, & the Riptide ticks can hit for over 10k. Works very good in PvP & PvE.
@@s.onevsone3638 You're thinking of Focused Insight, which is triggered after using a shock spell. You should absolutely use a shock spell before casting Healing Rain. It's a stronger heal with a big mana discount. But Unleash Elements has no effect on Healing Rain.
You definitely want to unleash elements into a chain heal on targets with riptide already rolling to do much with it. That being said healing stream, healing rain, and riptide will do way more overall in a 5 man than chain heal
you don't want to just spam chain heal, use riptide , unleashed elements with chain heal , healing rain but you also want to use your efficient heal when you have tidal waves
Ancestral Swiftness and Ancestral Resolve are so much more important than Focused Insight and Ancestral healing. When raid gear & Valor set bonuses becomes available, that will change.
Using telluric currents without elemental precision is a recipe for disaster
Why play Resto shaman without it lol. Bis healer with solid dps
@@archerius95 Well hpal is bis but yeah his guides are always weirdly off
This guide sucks so much. Just a ton of wrong and rubbish information

This guide is not a complete guide to pay attention too. Some good information, some not. Mostly due to misunderstanding how spells work.

no mention of haste cap?
What happened to cleansing totem?
It was banned by shaman community during cataclysm events.
Please if you can put subtitles in Spanish one day. Thanks for the guide. New subscriber ❤❤
Enchanting isnt 23 spell power, thats the old LK ring enchant, catas ring enchant is +40 intellect per ring much better ^^

I am always running out of mana
Take precision talent.. And after shock + healing rain, do some lightning bolt.. Shock will increase your healing rain tick too
I’ve seen many videos and they beg to differ to your talent built thanks for the video tho
That is the beauty of the world right? Not every video or person will agree on everything :)

thanks for the video. i cant find the reputation guide you mentioned was in the description. thank u.
Awaiting the guide for survival hunter and Paladin! Yours are so easy to follow
They should be tomorrow (I think)! Ret Pally too. If you’re awaiting Prot / Holy Pal it’ll likely be Friday! 😁

IDE have to check but I think unleash only effects direct heals, so rain wouldn’t benefit
Yeah, unleash elements does not effect healing rain unfortunately
@@Brickhouse21 It does reduce the mana cost tho.

I really needed this video that you so much!
Thanks for video, was very helpful.
Glad to hear that!

Thank you, great guide
Glad it was helpful!
Feels awful to heal heroics, I go oom every pull, and chain heal does almost nothing anymore
