Brilliant interview with Sean. Really honest and open about himself. Amazing, even when Tyrone won he still questioned his contribution, and what he could have done better. He came across as someone that didn't enjoy playing because he was too driven and it consumed him. His family life suffered as a result.
I'll share this with my nephew who was an Umpire for his Uni's team...& his whole Uni's teams..he ❤'s anything Irish/Gaelic football related...I really enjoyed watching this... Sean sounds like a real gent' who unfortunately beat himself up quite a bit there!..all the best guy's Xx Good Luck with the podcast xx be lucky xx Edit: sorry you got a lass on first comment..😅come on lads start using those fingertips & get writing🤳...
Seán was a fantastic player. It's certainly true that OTHER members of that Tyrone team engaged in some very cynical stuff. They regularly dished out similar treatment to what he experienced in that match he spoke about. Well he knows it.!
An Armagh man here. Nothing but total respect for Sean. The man is a legend and an inspiration. What a player, what a guy!!!!

Spitting and biting is not 'hard' man stuff, it's pure thuggery; simple as! .....
Who was the midfielder he spoke off that was spitting, bitting etc him?
An absolute legend of Gaelic football, but needs to look up the meaning of the word ironically’ 🤨
Keegan and Seanie look very similar.
Sean might have been a good footballer but he is not a man in my eyes.
