Very good info. I appreciate all the information you gave. I need to somehow write all this info down. I so want to visit here. I live about 2 hours away.
No not so much the fumes, but if you were to breathe in chat dust that could lead to health problems. And yes a cat walked by but was gone before I could show it. We’ve seen many stray cats on our explorations and heard a dog once in an old building but we didn’t get close enough to see it. Every time we see these animals they run away from us and we aren’t able to rescue them.
You don't see or hear any birds or insects! That means you should be wearing a respirator mask as that place in contaminated with Pb dust! There is a Lead mountain in the vista , i would split quick.
It was well below freezing outside, in the middle of winter, I would say that is the cause of the lack of birds or insects. There is def. certain parts I wouldn’t go into. But as long as you stay on the main roads and avoid the chat piles you should be okay.
@@exploretheabandoned i wish we did, all we could find are jus holes in the ground that are not indeed shafts, but by chance i stumble across one, i shall let you know
Both of my parents grew up in Picher, Oklahoma. I've got some childhood memories there as well. It's heartbreaking 💔, to see this.
In 2013 or early 2014 I mapped some properties of the BNSF railroad that the railroad still owned and had leases and other contracts on.
I would be afraid to go inside those houses. They might collapse
Good video. Thanks for making it.
Thank you for watching!!

Mickey mantle mined in the area and died at 60 years old and his whole family died young
That place is way too toxic, I'm going to leave some puppets there and see if they mutate and begin performing shows on their own.
Or maybe the ghosts will start performing
Is there a danger there with fumes? Audio is low, did you say a cat just walked by? Do you often see stray dogs, cats? Are you able to rescue them?

That church sounded haunted as you walked into it
Was that church in Douthat? My preached at Douthat Baptist Church in the 1950’s.
I was born and raised in picher

Such a nice video. I would recommend redoing the narrating though.
