I watched this and loved it and today we purchased an E43 AMG estate from Mercedes main dealer. We were going for an older E63 AMG which was brutal but we loved all the new gadgets in the E43. My good lady did all the test driving and fell in love with the acceleration but the park assist was the deal breaker.
We look forward to having the car delivered in a few days time! Can’t wait to thrash the nutz off it when my good lady isn’t around lol..... normally it’s like driving miss daisy around !!

Thanks to this video, I ordered a 2018 E43 AMG from Mercedes Benz of White Plains NY, got Diamond white w light interior P2 car, extra sound deadner, and extra rear side bags, rear heated seats, arrives Mid June, car was on the line and my dealer grabbed it and changed it to my specs, will watch this video every day till it arrives, had a CLS 550, gonna get a big change for 19, didn't want old body car, and 19 is a hybrid straight 6, not for me, nit available in 550, the E class no more 550 either, so AMG only way to go for 400 hp, without buying S class, which is out of my league, thanks for all the info

The AMG C43 V6 3.0L Biturbo 2018 is sweet too at $54,000 starting and $70,000 loaded with 362 hp. I like the E43 front styling better. Just found out from MercBenzKing review that they've changed the front of the C43 2019 to look like the E 43 2018. Damn that was fast! Lol

Sell it 😂 its nothing worth anymore. We had one and its not good. Shift 1 is a disaster in sport mode.

What is the best way to have the exhaust produce the crackle sound? I do it in sports + mode, 3rd gear and rpm around 5000

Sport + and high RPM is the only way. It can also do it during downshifts if you're at high RPM after the shift.

A random question , but do you know why Mercedes does not produce the E43 AMG anymore? And does that mean, if you already have the car that it would be much harder to get it fixed and get your hands on specific parts?
They still make it but it's called the E53 now. The name change denotes a switch to a new engine (i6 instead of v6).

Wish it was faster. My 2012 infiniti g37 goes 0-60 in 5 seconds and I payed $22k for it 8 years ago.

Is it a real amg? Is it build by one people?
"One man, one engine" has been marketing schtick since the late 90s. AMG don't do bespoke stuff anymore, so it's all parts-kits and may as well be an assembly line.
That said, the E43 really did start life as the E430 until someone realized that big, petrol MBs don't sell well but AMGs do. It's an MB with an AMG badge.

V6 engine with some effect. Sounds good, but I would not call this AMG and not 40+ anything. E350, nothing else. BTW Soon these AMG engines will be quiet like EV due to German noise regulations. A shame.
