I came across iFootage monopods on DP Journey's channel yesterday. Then found this base. It's perfect! This is exactly what I need for my desk at home or even vlogging/ interviews at restaurant table with my caged Lumix S5. I guess I will need that large head. Great review, thanks.
Thanks for the comment - yes I love this monopod and currently use it with a mic and monitor mounted on it for my UA-cam videos. It’s great to travel with as well because the round base just slips in a backpack.

This is actually a great setup and we can even use a costumised built-in Nadir logo already placed between the screw and the camera!
I'm about to do something like that that will save me hundred of minutes editing and applying Nadir logo in post ✌️✌️

Do you think for UA-cam videos or Instagram reels, which one is better? Insta app or the insta editing software on mac
The app gives you so many more options and will be quick for short social media videos if you have a phone with good processor and lots of memory
excuse me being obtuse, I've just ordered this, does the monopod include the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter as using it with my 360 cameras? I cant find it on the item description on amazon.... thanks
No unfortunately it doesn’t come with one - you can buy them on Amazon and you don’t have to get a manfrotto converter you can buy third party cheaper ones
Hi Rich, thanks for this video. Between this monopod ( Cobra 2 round base) and Bushman monopod pro, which one do you recommend? For outdoor shots on flat surfaces with a bit of a windy situation!
For outdoor use I would say the monopod pro - you can get the cobra 2 from Amazon though so it’s worth trying out as the returns are easy and the cobra 2 is cheaper.

It is quite thick but if it’s used upside down like I showed then maybe. It’s quite heavy though compared to a standard stick

Yes it’s only good for indoors mainly and on flat surfaces which is why it’s good for virtual tours
