    1979 hung out for an afternoon, he played my guitar, then i mixed the sound that evening, danny thompson, martin jenkins, bert jansch..what a thrill for a 17 year old, wonderfull memories

    One of the most beautiful songs ever written jansch was a true minstrel of song and not to be forgotten

    Saw Bert play this around this time in Bury. He was full of praise for Mike Nesmith’s production and especially for the playing of Red Rhodes on pedal steel. Bert was a true selfless star.

    Wow - What a powerful player./ He was a fucking legend. I am deeply depressed I discovered him after his death and will never able to see him live.

      Sad he passed away from Throat Cancer. You could hear it in his later performances.
