ATTENTION EVERYONE: BEFORE YOU COMMENT: IF YOU WERE GOING TO SAY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: "Where is (this and this vehicle / troop?", "Where is the scarab?", "the covenant looks bad", or anything along those lines... THIS IS A BETA WHERE WE JUST SAW 2 OUT OF MAN CHARACTERS, so we can expect not every single troop to be there. That would not be a real beta would it? Same goes for scarab. The covenant might look bad, because it's not the covenant. The title of the video says banished, bc that is what they are called. Also, they are LED BY THE GODDAMN BRUTES, so we can expect more metallic, mechy things and spikes and what have you. The covenant is gone, along with their shiny round vehicles. Get over it. Yours sincerely, Veteran Halo Wars player
I Agree With U Completey I'm Also a Hw Vet I'm Just Hoping that it's still a big difference from playing as a Unsc than the banished I'm Hw1 it was a Completey different play style it seems that Hw2 it won't be and ask I hope Spartan can still hijack
SpartanBeta312 It's not supposed to sell you the product, it's supposed to make it better. That's what you get from an early beta: a not finished game with a lot of missing content and bugs that never ends to surprise you!
I REALLY like the look of the banished; their style is reminiscent of the smooth and sleek covenant, which is their origins obviously, but rather than smooth curves they have really sturdy looking armor that's far more 'boxy', reflecting that this is a faction led by brutes rather than elites.
+Sk3l3br0 the game is cool! there's like a lot of cool new modes like a ricochet. but they're still regular Battle Like standard but they renamed it death match but I hope the original deathmatches in Halo Wars 2 too though.
The Batman It might. Part of the thing they were talking about with Halo Wars 2 is how they're taking a previously disconnected story(Halo Wars 1), and finally intertwining it with the main plot.
So who at 343 thought it would be a good idea to give the jump pack brutes GRAVITY HAMMERS?! Depending at how you look at it, they're either going to be extremely useless or extremely terrifying...
no. Cobra will be Anti-Tank like it always has, the kodiak is the UNSC arty unit. im glad they finaly have a dedicated base killer like the locust.. and hopefully the locust will be good in halowars 2.
Well Jackals are Mercenaries/Pirates by nature so my guess is the Covenant paid them more than the Banished ever could. Jackals never cared about religion like the Elites, Grunts and so on just the fat sacks of money given to them by the Covenant lol
Mind you, Jackals were still in the Covenant Remnant (Jul'M'Dama's army) so to see them not appear is interesting. I would think an army like The Banished would be perfect.
Who knows honestly, Maybe another Commander for the Banished makes usre of Jackals in one way or another. I just wonder if said Jackals will speak broken English like in Guardians or their own tongue like in all the other games.
I think the Banished are more idealogical and outsiders then Jul 'Mdamas army, and besides Jul had the money to pay for jackals and was able to keep in contact with them, it seems the Banished are very reclusive
Thats something I found quite interesting. While they have still Grunts and Hunters aswell as Huragoks they lack any Jackals and Drones. You cant explain this with lack of religion on the sides of Jackals and Drones because the idea of the banished is that they are stranded on the Arch. They need each other. Maybe Jackels and Drones died off? Were killed by the Brutes because they wont take orders from them?
Not just me and yeah, it doesn't look like a bit...but a lot...in fact too much but well, as long as the game is ok I guess this one won't be noticed by BiowEAr.
idk but cobras were really lame, moved and aimed slow as hell and if you had em locked down in the wrong area they're useless. cobras should've had the power turret upgrade instead of scorpions
+scottspartan9 by ordinance do you mean small arms? I thought the grunts were only armed -after- the rebellion? It's been a while though since I read any of the books, so maybe not.
Thanks for showing the units. One thing I really hope they improve, is the sound of each unit. Take this example, a Brute Chopper, is louder and has more presence than the UNSC Vulture... to me that was mind boggling. I'm taking the SFX as a placeholder though, I'm really looking forward to cutting things up again with Cutter.
i agree you need atleast 5 to really have a large number of combinations unless each faction has diffrent varients like a more extream version of the commanders for HW.
Why are all of the new covenant vehicles either so very human looking or very influenced by bugs. I think the devs went the wrong direction. It looked very believable for most of them to be human or vice-versa.
Hectorlo Hopefully, I also noticed that there are no sword elites? Even though clearly in the cinematic trailer. Hopefully that is an indication of an elite or prophet leader.
Bad ass!!! This looks so cool and awesome that they kept the same kind of game play as the first one, and just made it even better. I can't wait until it comes out in February, I give this game 10 out of 10!!! They did a awesome job.
15:05 The Blisterback a long ranged ground artillery piece that could cover any terrain and move at speeds via means of flight. Set up on the ground within a matter of moments and deliver artillery barrages on a enemy locations. Then take back to the skies as fast as it did to set up on the ground and re-position or retreat before the enemy could ever get a chance to retaliate. Realistically speaking that tactical concept for an artillery piece would have a lot of potential for a real life defense force. Its efficient and practicable in my opinion.
Where are the scarab, ghost, mongoose, wolverine, hawks, jackels, Also why is there no Rhino but replace by a fking Kodiak ;-; Plz 343 do not fk this game ;-; ;-; ;-;
+Nobody There are Ghosts and Grizzlys. Goblins are Covenant Remnant exclusive. Jackals are not in The Banished and the Spirit of Fire didn't carry mongooses. And remember, it's just a Beta, there are still 8 months of developement.
Hectorlo Microsoft needs to take a long walk off a short pier. Either way, it doesn't matter what OS it runs on, you can MAKE it run on any other OS. W10 or not, i could get it to work and if not, there's probably a W10 emulator out there.
Hectorlo HEALING UNITS AND INFANTRY Covenant's only means of healing units were the engineer. Had to spread them around them around for emergency healing but didn't cost anything and there is no cool down. UNSC had the heal area effect. Costed money and had a cool down time, but you could it anywhere without sacrificing pop. Marines had combat medics to heal the surviving MP. Cyclops could heal all but infantry. In Halo wars 2 old infantry units have different roles, but ET vs UNSC infantry archetypes are just about the exact same with only minor differences. UNSC has a all healing unit now and is a air unit just like the ET's healing unit. Covenant had ranged anti infantry units and infantry to fight armor. UNSC had short ranged AI and marines were the only infantry capable of effectively combating armor (only with rockets.) Hell now each faction gets one hero, but I'll talk about that later. BULDINGS The only similarity (in bases) between Covy and UNSC in halo wars are the supply buildings, unit buildings, and turret sockets. With the Covy building acted more like a hive: for one tech tier costed a lot less and the tech building could be moved to any socket without losing it's tier upgrades. Due to the teleporters you could bring uints from any base to the frontline immediately. Looking at this the covy would appear very centralized. As for the UNSC its much rigid structure the Tech tiers were expensive and then brought to another level of expensive due to some units and upgrades requiring a higher tech tier than covy. Even then it's brought into another level of expensiveness if you lose tech tier building since it's upgrades would be saved. A saving grace to this is that you could build tech plants as many times and anywhere you wanted. While you could build units at any base you had put some effort into rallying them with flags or the pelican tranport. The building in halo wars 2 beta is the exact same. Like mirror reflection same. ARMOR This is a plus mainly because each factions vehicles actually acted differently from one another, but only due to the UNSC artillery. However, the differences end there, hell you could even compare the artillery to ET's locust. Now that the ETs now have AA vehicles it's streamlined the whole faction archetype. In halo wars 1 only the UNSC had vehicles that were geared to specifically fight other unit types. The covies didn't, but what they had to counter that with their AV infantry. In this perspective the covy infantry were for the most part geard to counter other unit types. UBER UNITS AND AIR Once again this is different; the air between covy and UNSC was worlds apart. The covenant only anti air unit is an air unit itself, (but with an extremely useful ability which ill get to in a bit.) The uber units could move across all obstacles, however, the scarab could not walk down into huge indentions in the ground which I call void areas.. The vulture could fly over areas that were basically voids of space. The vulture even had an ability that had could output huge damage on one unit which had a very small cool down timer. The gripe in halo wars 2 is that the uber units are just about the same. They are both air and their attacks are pretty similar save the ET's lockdown ability. In halo wars 1 the covies could only have almost 2 uber units (the scarab.) If you centralized and managed the rest of your pop (with well thought units) around one scarab you would be number one on everyone's shit list. Who would be doing the shitting can be up to your imagination. For UNSC at most one could have 6. Vultures could totally change the flow of battle as well, but it can be totally shut down if the covies use the stasis drain on their AA air unit. This makes the vulture a support unit in contrast to the scarab's frontish nature. COMMAND POWER AND HEROES There is almost no difference between Atriox and Cutter's command structure. Im praying this is due to their commercialized rivalry and the command structure on the other leaders will be way different. As for the heroes... In halo wars 1 right off the bat you could tell the difference with how the covies have one hero unit. Their leaders made the whole faction more centralized than the UNSC. They could use command power at anytime at the cost of draining resources. The UNSC, however, could use their power any where on the map that was not fogged. As for the spartans... In their own right they are incredible units as they can effectively carry units in the beginning and are great as support later on. The command structure was totally different. The UNSC had a transport ability, leader specific power, the heal area effect, and the disruption bomb. These could used anywhere rather cheaply, but had cool down timer This gave them more value than just their price number. This makes the UNSC command power an effective team work tool. The only command power covies had were their heroes' ability, but it could be used indefinitely at the cost of constantly draining resources. AFTER THOUGHTS This whole argument is based the assumption that the beta shows exactly what direction the devs are taking the game in. IM PRAYING AND HOPING THE FINAL will go in a whole other direction. Everything has been so streamlined that now in halo wars 2 unit types (infantry armor air) will act the same. ON THE SURFACE HALO WARS 2 MAY SEEM MORE COMPLEX, BUT IT'S NOT. HALO WARS 1 WAS DEFINITELY MORE COMPLEX THAN THE BETA.
+cody morris There will be more leaders. I think it's fine to have two leaders that are similar. at least in beta so they can test balancing. But perhaps we will get a traditional covie leader, flood and a forerunner leader for ETs.
JadeDragoon136 I hope that the similarity is due to the commercialized rivalry between Cutter and Atriox. I will say the way they hype their rivalry is extremely interesting and satisfying to ponder on.
MY THOUGHTS ON THE NEW HALO WARS GAME IN COMPARISON TO THE FIRST HEALING UNITS AND INFANTRY Covenant's only means of healing units were the engineer. I wholeheartedly agree. This game better be doing a U-turn right quick otherwise its not going to be a worthy sequel to the original. They need to make the factions different, they need to make the graphics less cartoonish and (in my opinion) they need to add The Flood as a faction in skirmish.
really hope they allow UNSC players to have 3 Spartans like HW-1. Like even if they decide to just spread red team across the three UNSC factions as hero units they could still allow you to build two other "generic" spartans that weren't as tough. having 3 spartans hold off entire armies was the funnest thing to do while screwing around with my friends on HW.
buck is a spartan 4 now, he USED to be an odst. But if you're going to be comparing their past positions Locke was ONI and Buck an ODST. I like bucky a hell of a lot more than lock but I think Locke has the upper hand here.
When people are forgetting it's a beta and not every unit will be on Halo wars 2 straight away. More units will most likely come on gameplay footage or launch day.
Can Hunters fight in melee now? I remember in the first game that hunters could only used their ranged attack. Would be cool to see hunters toss a group of marines into the air lol.
I found this video helpful since I didn't get to spend too much time with some units so screw the haters lol. (I didn't even know the ODST was female this time around)
Nooooooo. New faction. It takes place after Halo Wars, not guardians. The first Halo Wars is the earliest game in the Halo time line. The Reacg, CE, 2, etc....
"Scorpion, ready to sting!"
Oh damn that game is awesome
"The higher order shall REIGN"
AK47's FOR EVERYONE
AntwanFuzznips RATATATTATATATATTA
“Scorpion, ready for cambat!”
I also love how Locusts are piloted by Grunts now.
I hope they keep it that way.
Me to grunts need a cool vehicle its the least the Covenant can do since they destroyed the grunts home planet
It's also fitting that the Locusts themselves are so cute.
They were always, but they didn't have voice acting :)
the Nightingale looks so much like a cross between the Pelican and the Falcon. Awesome
I think I'm more hyped for Halo Wars 2 than I was for Halo 5! And thank you for making this video! Keep up the good work!
On second thought, I don't think I'm more hyped for Halo Wars 2 than I was for Halo 5, I know I am!
I mean, the hype for Halo 5 was pretty powerful, just woefully disappointing.
14:34 that Shroud looks like a mini-Reaper from Mass Effect
You beat me to it!
A Mass Effect RTS like this would be fantastic. There are definitely enough races, vehicles etc. for something like that.
+Christian Rainey A baby reaper.
Blisterback is legit the coolest vehicle.
Also, RIP Scarab.
it will be in the game, a variant of it. just not for that leader
***** YES!
If hunters are, of course scarabs will.
+caden flanagan RIP Scarab indeed, Halo Wars 1 was the only Halo that you could "drive" a scarab
+Sk3l3br0 technically............never mind

couldn't have said it better!
couldn't have said it better myself (:
Jeez, this comment section was in need of one of these! Glad more people get it.
wish i saw this before i opened my fat mouth lol
I Agree With U Completey I'm Also a Hw Vet I'm Just Hoping that it's still a big difference from playing as a Unsc than the banished I'm Hw1 it was a Completey different play style it seems that Hw2 it won't be and ask I hope Spartan can still hijack
is there a grunt inside that locust??
YES :(
+Adam Ewan Keachie the alien who did that must've been high as hell
+Slushy ayyy lmao
Slushy
Must of been that grunt nipple stuff.
It looks like a banshee with legs
Thanks for making this.
No problem.
+Hectorlo thanks
i wanted to see them in action
@13:29 WAIT GRUNTS DRIVE LOCUSTS?!!!!!!!!
Their evolving.
Shit
Soon they'll form the new covenant
I know right?? Awesome!!
First the grunt mech next locusts soon they'll have a sacrab. HUMANITY AND THE COVENANT ARE DOOMED AT THAT POINT.
even the prometheans
yea i noticed that too, maybe they're going for that silly and deadly personality for locusts (they are basically smaller versions of the scarab)
The odsts have a dumb animation, why not have them kick out their drop pod door and come out
Animation is far from finished. Sometime there even would pop-up a T-pose here and there!^^
+ADE Marc Alexander I was really underwhelmed by the beta
SpartanBeta312 It's not supposed to sell you the product, it's supposed to make it better. That's what you get from an early beta: a not finished game with a lot of missing content and bugs that never ends to surprise you!
I think it's the beta. I think the animation will be better when the game comes out.
yeah people shouldn´t realy a game that isnt finished

Local Units
All units.
the enemy has build a scarab
+cooki monsterNZ The base is under attack
Señor Yoda alias "Puyolda" "All units"
rush b
Please tell me you can play Skirmish solo with an AI on local, I was addicted to it
Most probably yes. I don't see why they wouldn't include it!
+ADE Marc Alexander I hope so, I still play local Skirmish with an AI sometimes and it's always fun for me
+Sk3l3br0 it would be ridiculous if they didn't add Skirmish or single player.
+Ben The Biscuit I know, but I didn't had a chance to play the beta so i don't know about the game
+Sk3l3br0 the game is cool! there's like a lot of cool new modes like a ricochet. but they're still regular Battle Like standard but they renamed it death match but I hope the original deathmatches in Halo Wars 2 too though.
kind of sad to see that a spin off game like halo wars 2 is looking better than the main flagship game of halo 5.
Depends on what aspects.
Everything so far definately does. Halo 5's multiplayer is enjoyable at least.
halo wars 2 is said to impact the story of 6
Hallen 567 i fucking hope not. it's a spin off game.
The Batman
It might.
So,we are missing the Elephant, the Grizzly, the Hawx, the Cobra, the Gremlyn and the almighty SCARAB.I hope they add them on the final release...
dont forget the vampire
The grizzly is in the campaign gameplay, the scarab is in the cover art and the e3 cinematic and the Kodiak is most likely replacing the cobra.
no. Cobra will be Anti-Tank like it always has, the kodiak is the UNSC arty unit. im glad they finaly have a dedicated base killer like the locust.. and hopefully the locust will be good in halowars 2.
I'm guessing that the banished have something against jackals.
Well Jackals are Mercenaries/Pirates by nature so my guess is the Covenant paid them more than the Banished ever could. Jackals never cared about religion like the Elites, Grunts and so on just the fat sacks of money given to them by the Covenant lol

Is it just me or does the Shroud look a lot like the Reapers from Mass Effect.
Assuming Direct Control of this franchise xD
I thought I was the only one who thought of that too xD
Not just me and yeah, it doesn't look like a bit...but a lot...in fact too much but well, as long as the game is ok I guess this one won't be noticed by BiowEAr.
it's a chibi reaper
+King-of-Snakes Nope, It's obviously a Reaper jr.
Wonderful work! Thanks for doing this!
Am I the only one thinking it's funny that the classic Grunt is in the squad while the ugly new ones are suicide Grunts? X'D
Thanks for making this! :)
Why did they change the name of the Cobra and the flamethrowers for the Codiak and the Hellbringers...?
They did change the name for the flamethrower marines to the hellbringers but the codiak is a new UNSC vehicle.
Yes, but it is similar to the Cobra. So why is it stronger against infantry than it was against vehicles and buildings?
+Kurt- -051 The Cobra and Codiac are different.
idk but cobras were really lame, moved and aimed slow as hell and if you had em locked down in the wrong area they're useless. cobras should've had the power turret upgrade instead of scorpions
+Kurt- -051 Flamethrowers are called hellbringers in the halo books and if you read the unit info in HW1 it says that they are called hellbringers.
8:10 brute:why do have to tell you twice?! grunt: yeah yeah we hear you
13:15 Oh god, who let a grunt drive that thing?
Grunts were never incompetent. They handle most of the heavy equipment and explosives after all.
Arcus Diabolus
Yes, but they are also constantly opressed by the larger species, so giving them heavy ordinance doesn't seem to bright.
And they proved that it wasn't bright to allow them to use ordnance during the grunt rebellion.
It's troubled times for the banished. Stuck on a destroyed ark with no home to go too. Desperate times desperate measures
+scottspartan9 by ordinance do you mean small arms? I thought the grunts were only armed -after- the rebellion? It's been a while though since I read any of the books, so maybe not.

When will people learn! If you ONLY have 2 factions in an RTS it will die.. FAST! Why can't we get a Flood faction or something else?
They strongly hinted for a Forerunner/Promethean faction.
ChaoticHeretic, Warhammer 40K fan? I think they went a bit too far in Soulstorm. (I'm guessing off the name)
i agree you need atleast 5 to really have a large number of combinations unless each faction has diffrent varients like a more extream version of the commanders for HW.
ChaoticHeretic Halo Wars is still alive
Hawke Volkihar More factions are awesome...and yes I am a 40k fan
Truly bringing the best of both artstyles. I just need the hawk
thorin Someone who understands.
I hope that some of these vehicles are in Halo 6
What if man what If these Spartans meet chief
What if, indeed! Be a tearful family reunion.
4:10
That's some nice four wheel driving he's got there
Why are all of the new covenant vehicles either so very human looking or very influenced by bugs. I think the devs went the wrong direction. It looked very believable for most of them to be human or vice-versa.
I love with the Reaver, if you look, you can see the driver momentarily snap into the T pose wheneber it comes to a stop.
were is the scarab?
It wasn't available ib the beta. There's no info of the scarab yet.
+Hectorlo Jackals where are my jackal friends have they murderd and replaced my jackal babies why did they take away my jackals :'(
+James Poelvoorde cause they are slow. thank god this jackal inbred freaks are no more
+James Poelvoorde my motto is literally "jackals are so slow!!!!"
+wilbur58 Mentally or Phisicly slow :'( either way it is not the poor old jackal potato farmer's faults.
nice video ❤
the shroud looks like a baby reaper from mass effect XD
ikr XD
No ghost? Maybe we'll see one of the leaders of covenant, at least for multiplayer, have completely old designs.
Maybe if there's an Elite/Prophet leader.
Aren't the Prophets' race... extinct in this point?
Jesus Adolfo Galindo
I think it's been hinted that there are still a few hiding somewhere.
Hectorlo Hopefully, I also noticed that there are no sword elites? Even though clearly in the cinematic trailer. Hopefully that is an indication of an elite or prophet leader.
I do remember a seeing a screenshot of a Honor Guard-like Elite with energy sword, they're probarbly in with another commander
I understand the concept of this game, but theres so much to learn. thanks
Female ODSTs! About time! 😄
The ODST units in halo wars 1 have more upper body strength. They nerfed them in halo wars 2 by making them female.
JK nobody cares.
I think it's hot... Lol
Mythical Helljumper fourteen year-old confirmed.
+Nimble Mountain 12 year-old confirmed.
Rulingmoss55 No thanks, halo avatar.
Bad ass!!! This looks so cool and awesome that they kept the same kind of game play as the first one, and just made it even better. I can't wait until it comes out in February, I give this game 10 out of 10!!! They did a awesome job.
Who let SpongeBob drive a locust?
All of these vehicles are so cool! The Locust has to be my favourite. I hope there's a future halo game where you actually get to drive all of these!
The Shroud? More like rejected Reaper Leviathan.

Unless they add the hawk, im definitely not buying HW2
Yes you will.
***** what are you talking about? This is halo wars 2
Hectorlo No im not but not just cause of the hawk. Game looks awful and voice acting is terrible
Kfc and Watermelon
Welp at least that's a better reason, but i think deciding to buy a game because of it's graphics and voice acting it's kinda dumb.
Dude what the fuck are you talking about?
I love seeing the old art style back
It HAD to be Brutes. Why.
Why not?
Hectorlo Because Elites are WAAAY cooler. I hope they don't make 'Covenant' players have them. Like, make it a choice. Like the original game
how? are they way cooler?
K9 Beowulf Because it's my opinion
We've been fighting eiltes in every halo games except halo 3 and ODST and the Banished look very cool IMO .Plus , there are still elites in this one.
I love the art-style of this game. It brings me back to Halo: Combat Evolved.
Disappointed with the voices. Grunt voices seem fine but Elite and Brute sound horrible.
Probably place holder
I'd hope so.
At least it's not the same voice actor every time. We'll see at the second beta.
I agree too. Grunt voices are good but elites and brutes are terrible not sounding at all like they should.
what happened to the elephant :(
I prefer the old look of the wolverine, this one just looks weird to me.
Where are the scarab, ghost, mongoose, wolverine, hawks, jackels,
Also why is there no Rhino but replace by a fking Kodiak ;-;
Plz 343 do not fk this game ;-; ;-; ;-;
Damn I know. There are no Grizzlies, Cobras, Sparrows, Goblins, Ghosts, Jackals, Rhinos or fucking Scarabs!
you do know this is just a beta right?
its just in beta so they probably will add more in
+Nobody There are Ghosts and Grizzlys. Goblins are Covenant Remnant exclusive. Jackals are not in The Banished and the Spirit of Fire didn't carry mongooses. And remember, it's just a Beta, there are still 8 months of developement.
Is it really that hard for people to understand it's only "beta" lol?
this game looks awesome! Graphics and animations are great.
Shame it's on console, RTS's belong on the PC.
It will be released on PC as well.
Hectorlo really?
Nice.
Ellie Johnson
Yeah but only on Windows10 so keep that in mind.
Hectorlo Microsoft needs to take a long walk off a short pier.
Either way, it doesn't matter what OS it runs on, you can MAKE it run on any other OS. W10 or not, i could get it to work and if not, there's probably a W10 emulator out there.
You won't be able to play anything but Minesweeper in a W10 virtual environment
Nightingale is a support Falcon... isn't it? Like, the Falcon from Reach but with different capabilities.
Not gonna lie im more disappointed now that i know the direction there taking the units. They really ruined the way each faction worked.
What do you mean?
Hectorlo
HEALING UNITS AND INFANTRY
Covenant's only means of healing units were the engineer.
UNSC had short ranged AI and marines were the only infantry capable of effectively combating armor (only with rockets.)
Hell now each faction gets one hero, but I'll talk about that later.
BULDINGS
The only similarity (in bases) between Covy and UNSC in halo wars are the supply buildings, unit buildings, and turret sockets.
ARMOR
This is a plus mainly because each factions vehicles actually acted differently from one another, but only due to the UNSC artillery.
UBER UNITS AND AIR
Once again this is different; the air between covy and UNSC was worlds apart. The covenant only anti air unit is an air unit itself, (but with an extremely useful ability which ill get to in a bit.)
The uber units could move across all obstacles, however, the scarab could not walk down into huge indentions in the ground which I call void areas..
COMMAND POWER AND HEROES
There is almost no difference between Atriox and Cutter's command structure.
AFTER THOUGHTS
This whole argument is based the assumption that the beta shows exactly what direction the devs are taking the game in.
Unwilling Banana and?
DAMN IT!! I missed the beta for this!!
Someone help me out, is Jerome using dual SMGs or dual Magnums?
I think dual magnums
magnums. but spartans pefer BR-55s or AssultRifles. (most of them anyways)
+AwesomeMax 217 must be halo ce magnums if so
I think its magnums
Are there more units for the 2 other leaders from each side, or all these the units from all 6 leaders? (3 UNSC and 3 Banished)
Could you make this video but with units in the campaign so we don't have team colors interfering with the designs?
Dear CA: would you kindly give the SNIPER unit, a proper Halo Sniper's Rifle? The SRS 99 please? thanks.
"Stealth tank... i mean Jack Rabbit reporting in sir". "For the brother hood of... I mean grunt squad reporting in". Im getting old lol.
Garrik Cook down with GD- oh uh down with UNSC
did the Warthog also spun on itself in HW1 ? or did it actually had to turn ? Can't recall.
a wolverine rolls in
wolverine driver: I'm out of here
me: *laughing alot*
Also the Chopper is back!
MY THOUGHTS ON THE NEW HALO WARS GAME IN COMPARISON TO THE FIRST

I wholeheartedly agree. This game better be doing a U-turn right quick otherwise its not going to be a worthy sequel to the original. They need to make the factions different, they need to make the graphics less cartoonish and (in my opinion) they need to add The Flood as a faction in skirmish.
+Cultureghost they can't do that if the flood is destroyed
Slushy The flood wasn't destroyed, only the one lead by the grave-mind in the halo trilogy.
Cultureghost I disagree with the cartoony look. The units actually look like they fit in the environment.
As for the flood ditto.
+cody morris not as much as the first one.
Are ODSTs a separate unit, or a super upgrade for marines? It looks like a separate unit to me.
Oh my god, the Hellbringers are precisely the same as the Firebats from Starcraft! Even down to the barbeque/cookout jokes!
really hope they allow UNSC players to have 3 Spartans like HW-1. Like even if they decide to just spread red team across the three UNSC factions as hero units they could still allow you to build two other "generic" spartans that weren't as tough. having 3 spartans hold off entire armies was the funnest thing to do while screwing around with my friends on HW.
Shouldn't Buck in H5 be the best member of Osiris instead of Locke? Seeing how Locke is a IV and Bick is an ODST.
Spartan 4's are tougher than odsts, but weaker than spartan 2's
not to mention not as fast reflexes even. and they dont take onboard AIs either.
buck is a spartan 4 now, he USED to be an odst. But if you're going to be comparing their past positions Locke was ONI and Buck an ODST. I like bucky a hell of a lot more than lock but I think Locke has the upper hand here.
I assume you mean leadership wise? Buck doesn't want to be a leader anymore, after losing two squads.
the UNSC sure love their drones nowadays.
Megabulb25 Not like it will save'em though.
Megabulb25 Not like it will save'em though.
Megabulb25 Not like it will save'em though.
Nice job. Must've taken a lot of work, doing this online.
A lot of frustrated teammates, that's for sure.
Am i really? lol
Is there really a list of most hated halo channels?
***** Yeah but where? Is it a youtube video, forum post or what?
I found this video helpful since I didn't get to spend too much time with some units so screw the haters lol. (I didn't even know the ODST was female this time around)
when i found out halo wars was coming to pc i was so happy!
OMG the brute chopper pilot sounds like classic G1 Optimus Prime "Rolling Out!"
I can't wait for it to come out
Wheres the big Scarab type thing from the trailer and screen shots
Probs in the final game
that's the Blisterback. The last one
The one that shoots those missiles? That's the Blisterback
Is 60 population max? or just in the beta?
Hopefully just for this mode/beta.
Heard it's 120 max.
+Hectorlo is your profile picture the symbol of the Superintendent in New Mombasa?
Samuel Selman Yes.
Are those.... Jumpack Brutes?
With Hammers?
I want a cheat code to play the modified Jotun from contact harvest!
So happy the hornets are in this game
Nice video
Was that sniper upgraded to be invisible or something?
Will it be for PC too? i mean come on, RTS games should be able to play with a mouse
I like the SPARTAN and ODST the best. They are pretty cool.
i don't know if it's me or not but Do the units Feel Bigger than the original halo wars or no?
The hell bringers accent took me by surprise haha more then the cyclops' did in the first game haha.
Why does the Nightengale have propellers?
i want a brute version of a scarab for some reason and the blisterback doesn't fit that role for me
I hope it will come on the market very soon.
still blurry for the 720p wish it was 1080p :c
would it be too much to ask for a starcraft formatted halo wars?? or
Do they still have the unsc Hawks I loved those?
Not in the beta, maybe when the game is released.
There's also no scarabs yet, though there are a lot of heroes that have yet to be released.
HOLY shit looks like the spirit of fire got some upgrades!!
I love the new voices of the soldiers
In the mega block series, grunt is pilot of locust.
the locus looks so dam cool!
I guess some of the unit designs are not yet finished, Can't wait
YES! Suicide Grunts are still here! I can resume rushing them and annihilating my enemies early game! Please retain that DoT AoE upgrade... :C
Also is the arbiter with the swords of sanghelios gonna be in the game?
Nooooooo. New faction. It takes place after Halo Wars, not guardians. The first Halo Wars is the earliest game in the Halo time line. The Reacg, CE, 2, etc....
I'm pretty sure it was after the events of halo 5
It was after guardians because the covenant is crippled that is why the banished were introduced
Not at launch. Maybe in DLC.
That artillery was damn cool
