Blood Moon does not change them into "basic mountains" as it is written on the original card. It now read "Nonbasic lands are Mountains." They retain the supertype of Legendary and the name Pendelhaven. Thus, the Legend rule still applies.
Yeah, that first game was pretty extreme, but he it happens 🤷♂️ It’s also good to know that not all os “tournaments” are as intense as standard events. As a matter of fact, one of the things I love about os is that the Gathering is (at least) just as important.
@@savannahlion3081not as sweet in a tournament setting where casting a StP with a swamp and getting away with it could win you the tournament. Casual it is what it is.
But on a positive note i like both decks and tried ponza myself a few times but its so hard to win with in os swedish. The vampires deck is a cool take om deadguy ale maybe with sedge trolls in it would do wonders
We never play with proxies, but there are other play groups and tournaments that do (if proxies are used in the vid I usually mention it and it's always in the description of the vid under rules). It's just not my thing.
@@TimmytheSorcerer why not if it creates a more solid metagame? Not allowing proxies just limits the format, the education of the format, and limits players from playing with cards they actually would want to use
Yeah a lot of mistakes in old school, however in communities where they allow proxies and full power, there seems to be a better understanding of the rules and the sequences. That’s why I always enforce that full card availability is allowed, regardless of collection budgets.

Thanks for clarifying 🙌 Now I just need to remember :))
As an ex-judge the amount of basic mistakes is making my eye twitch a little lol
Aren't they sweet ! 😂🤣😅

I would try to play that ponza with mass removel like the Kommerzielle suspects ,,erthquake,,or so
You could even consider adding Fissure in this brew.

Agreed, it’s nice to see players give it a go and try new things. I think Justin’s deck has potential 👍
Why no power, brother? You don’t allow proxies?

Oof, how do people with cards this old miss so much basic stuff?
Cuz they are SO EXCITED to play with all that "Luxury" cardboard ! 😅😂🤣😁😆
They just play for fun. Have a beer and a good talk. Not all os players play regularly. The gathering is really important at these events.
The players are getting old too 😉
