A lot of the comments are talking about the amount of unnecessary makeup for a nine year old, but I’m concerned about the harsh skincare products that aren’t 100% safe and suitable for literal children. The moral of this video is just because it’s trending, doesn’t mean you NEED it. Hope this helps some people open their eyes.
yhh thats what i was thinking cz most skincare and makeup products are not children tested and their skin is more sensitive so its often not suitable for them and can harm their skin. Same goes for shampoo as well it is recommended by paediatricians that you continue using baby shampoo for as long as possible as children's scalp is more sensitive too

Well to start when I was 9 I went to a dermatologist before doing any skincare and they said like a drug it can be addictive and using products that aren’t meant for children can start a habit that you think you always need skin care

Agreed! Here are some safe brands for kids that I did look up!!! If your dermatologist allows, these are some very good brands!!! Starting off more popular, bubble. Depends on the product, but most of them are safe! Next, cera ve. This is very safe if you get the right one, and it is very helpful! (I use it) Next, elf. I absolutely love this brand and have been using since I was like 10. (I only used a moisturizer bc my skin was super dry) make sure to check in with a skin doctor if ur that young, but these are pretty safe! REMEMBER: drunk elephant isn’t for kids under 15 and is overpriced anyways

This is just my opinion: Some nine yr olds definitely need skincare. It’s a way to take care of yourself. But nine yr olds don’t need EXPENSIVE skin care. Cera Ve and cetaphil are fine. Also lip gloss and mascara are fine too but nothing else really.

Starting off more popular, bubble. Depends on the product, but most of them are safe! Next, cera ve. This is very safe if you get the right one, and it is very helpful! (I use it) Next, elf. I absolutely love this brand and have been using since I was like 10. (I only used a moisturizer bc my skin was super dry) make sure to check in with a skin doctor if ur that young, but these are pretty safe! REMEMBER: drunk elephant isn’t for kids under 15 and is overpriced anyways

This is just my opinion: Some nine yr olds definitely need skincare. It’s a way to take care of yourself. But nine yr olds don’t need EXPENSIVE skin care. Cera Ve and cetaphil are fine. Also lip gloss and mascara are fine too but nothing else really.

PresLee is NINE. Okay, I get that she can get what she wants but the ingredients in those products can REALLY damage her skin as she is still young and has sensitive skin. And also, PIMPLE PATCHES? I am not trying to hate or anything, I love the Nelson Family so much, but I am just concerned about PresLee. Tbh, she is really not acting her age. If she really wants to do her skincare, fine, but all she would really need is a cleanser and moisturiser. If she wants, she could get an age friendly toner or mist. But Drunk Elephant and Mighty Patches will just damage her skin.
