You have no idea how much pain I felt inside when I found out you need to complete 6 objectives in her event and you need Sadness. For a ftp player like myself, it's just impossible. I barely was able to unlock Sulley a month ago and got him up to level 20 and the other characters I have over 22 but Sadness is the one that's preventing me from getting Anxiety. It is very similar to the Kermit event from Season 7, so hopefully we get another Anxiety event in the next season at the very least.
I know this isn’t the best strategy but you could buy her box and pray for a couple shards…

@@theskullspookychannel6343 True, but I can’t complain, I had 1000 and got incredibly lucky unlocking Anxiety.
Don't forget that even if you somehow did unlock her, then there's the time trial. It's filled with 3- and 4-star Anxiety's already. So it's even more pay to play because that is truly impossible to get without tons of money...

These events suck! I don't even have sadness. I only have 8 of her shards. Passing up these events. Hope the next anxiety event is better then this.
Same here I got denied Kermit twice and now Anxiety and pretty sure Ennui (Boredom) will be the same and really should not be pay walled, I did pay for Joy at the start of this season but she got cut short as leveling goes unlike Venellope or Ariel went.
That's so annoying that anxiety box is not a season box and you can't use your tokens.😬

hehe. I knew it Anxiety was going to be like the Kermit event and the other way to get her shard is to pay real money. Gonna expect the same for Ennui too. I was hoping I could use the season token on her banner but alas it was not to be.

Not spending a single token on opening box since it’s unfair for F2P players already. We all know Gamelofts’ “real” odds within their characters boxes 👎👎👎
ughh this isn't fair!! i've been grinding for HOURS since she came out and i ONLY HAVE 2 SHARDS!! i'm on the verge of just spending $20 to gamble and get her, but then it's not even guaranteed for her.
Anxiety’s box is a joke.. just like Kermit’s. Don’t spend money on that folks. Buy the star-up pack or extra shards instead if you really want to spend any money on her ✌🏼
I do have some Gold pass tokens stacked up, but I am so lucky that I don't need to use one of them this season (pt. 2) because I got enough Shards from the Kermit or WALL-E event (I think in one of those were 2 shards, right?), the mobile release code and the two capsules in the free golden pass. The rest was easy to get via ranked and her season box.
My condolences go out to everyone who was unfortunately not so lucky but needed that more than I did :(
Unfortunately i figured they'd demand joy or sadness but i was hoping for joy because i have her..

yeah. It has been unfair since season 6 (Little Mermaid) , Season 5 was the last season / events where they were very generous and fair to f2p.
Nothing Disney is f2p it’s all a money grab. They should have given season pass holders the character out right but no they gave you sadness and fear which you got with the last season pass.
Nah it’s also unfair to those who DO pay as well! Making her 9 shards only? Even if you paid for the full 2 seasons you still won’t be guaranteed the full season characters.
I just started playing this game today. I don't have any of the required characters to unlock anxiety 😭😭😭

Looks like I’ll have to wait weeks down the line to get the shards. Same thing I did with Kermit. Not worth another $10
I managed to unlock Anxiety and starred her up with what is left. And she has excellent handling. Able to drift round hairpins with ease.
Congrats on getting her. I had to unlock beast Aladdin and Anna. Now if I have to level them up.

Just got her today & reached MPR 28 without spending any money on her shards nor boxes.
SO EASIER to reach MPR 28 with Mid-season Racers thanks to new ranked point system.

it does suck that anxiety's box isn't a season box but well what can you do? also idk if mobile players are gonna be able to unlock her due to the character requirements

Yeah, it's next to impossible to get Anxiety without paying. Either to get some of the needed characters to get shards or getting Anxiety herself.
Though at least it's better than Ennui....

I'm not surprised you're unable to use Season Box credits with her.
Do we think ennui will be released next week as anxiety was released a week before her required chapter or will they put ennui out the same week as her chapter
they'll do the same. just like Anxiety. Expect the event will be the same just like Anxiety's plus only way to unlock is through is the paid gacha if you can't unlock Ennui.
Luckily, I had everything required to unlock Anxiety. Just wish her box was a Season Tour box and not a "Gacha Money" box
Do you plan to do a video with your expectations for the Pirates of the Caribbean season ? Which characters ? 5 new ones, or only 3 new (Will, Barbosa, Davy Jones) + the current 2, but risking some duplicates

I have all the racers so I'll definitely get her which I'm really excited about. I love Anxiety but I can't play today so I'll get her tomorrow. Hopefully since Ennui is common it's easier for f2p players to get her

I don't have the 5 characters to play her event, so I'm planning on spending 99.99 (which is 108 including tax) on 13,500 tokens in order to pay for her season box to gurantee I get her. Then save the remaining tokens for Ennui when she releases.
That may sound like a lot of money, and believe me, I spent more than just that. But I'm currently working today through Monday on a 8-9 hour shift, so by then, I will have maid back ALL of my spent money and then some!
Don't pull from her box if you can help it ,they odds are really low
@@bt6322 It's really the only thing I can do to unlock Anxiety right now, and it would take an eternity to level up enough racers to get the tokens I need.
@@bt6322 Besides, 13,500 tokens with 500 per box, I'd say the odds are pretty good to get Anxiety.
I'll save the rest, if any, for Ennui when she releases.

(Having purchased the 13,500 tokens with 4/10 chards collected prior to it (from other purchases), I unlocked Anxiety with only about 10,000 tokens remaining.
Granted, I did spend more of those on kart pieces and a victory animation for Anxiety, and a suit. But the remaining 7,000, I'm saving for Ennui when she releases.)
Do you think Ennuis event will also include 5 characters + sadness challenges? Cause I really want Ennui so if thats the case I would just get the golden pass now and get anxiety too

I got the last 5 Anxiety shards from the gacha box on first try.
No, obviously I’m not afraid to play player so any of these requirements I don’t care because it doesn’t affect me also I stayed up till 1 AM just to do this event but I will have to say free players it’s gonna be rough for them, but that’s why you gotta stay on the grind. We did in season one.

Do you have him unlocked? Anger's season box doesn't appear in the shop until after you unlock him.

Though I rarely spend tokens on upgrade packs but did so and only did one chance on her box to get 2 Anxious Riley Shards. Was enough to combine with the 8 free ones as a lvl 29 Anxiety 2☆☆.
I got my time with her 1:59:397 15th Place from this comment. Also the first 2☆☆ ever to get under 2 minutes compared to the 3☆☆☆ and 4☆☆☆☆ Anxiety Racers.
So basically those who just got her to at least a 2☆☆ but didn't spend a dime on her minus the golden pass for Saddness(also to those who got her free from luck...) can at least have a chance to get Top 10% with a low level.
This game sucks since season 6... I was a hardcore player of this game, but now its just annoying.. no fair chances for all.
Tbh, it makes zero sense for Fear and Anxiety to both have such a low top speed stat... They're canonically the fastest of the emotions and have lightning bolts in their designs! Like if these characters were Pokémon, they would absolutely be part electric type and this type is known for the highest average speed stat among all Pokémon types in the mainline games... I don't really understand the thought process behind this decision
Fear is technically based on a Raw Nerve, while Anxiety is based on Electricity
@@OdogRuby77 Yeah, I know... But his hair strand does look like a lightning bolt when he's surprised or startled and the pattern on his vest looks very zig-zaggy when simplified... Beside that, he can run really freaking fast when agitated, at least in Disney Infinity (in the Inside Out playset he can cross certain gaps and obstacles other emotions can't due to his quick reaction and speed) Well, even if we agree to disagree on Fear, Anxiety should have a better top speed stat, she can cannonically teleport from one side of the room to another and let's not forget the anxiety attack scene from the second movie
They deliberately made Anxiety something for a cash grab. Wtf is the point of paying for TWO Season Passes PER season and still not being able to obtain Anxiety? The token ratio is so out of wack! You do NOT win enough from races per rank! And there’s really no where else to obtain em unless a giveaway code. It’s extremely disheartening and unnecessary. And I’m someone who has bought major stuff in this game! And that’s still not enough for them. Ughhhh
