UK Big Brother House 2023 Security Try To Intimidate Drone Operator / Citizen Journalist 🎥🛸❌

- Today we take a look at Garden Studios, 21 Waxlow Rd, London NW10 7NU.
This is the location of the Big Brother UK House 2023 which is actually just a normal commercial warehouse building with the garden being in the goods in/out yard.
We speak to many to many people including "Big Wig" (term used in the show) Tamsin Creative Director for Big Brother herself.
SRM Security disappointed me whilst creating this video, which is a great shame, as Big Brother will attract many citizen journalists / content creators to this location which is a council maintained road for us all to use and enjoy.

The irony of a TV production company producing a show called 'Big Brother' and complaining about surveillance is too absurd for words. 😂
I worked in the TV/Film Industry for 30 years and I can understand the need for security on set and that Producers do not wish to have surveillance of what they are producing before it is shown on the media. Spoilers ------ does that word mean anything to you ???
@@user-we7jr4ks4z Yes it does.
It means that TV companies, no matter how highly they regard themselves, do not have the right to dictate to the public.
@@CoherentChimpI did not see much evidence to suggest that anyone from Big Brother was dictating to AB.

The irony of Big Brother making millions from the very nature of cameras…. Yet don’t want you using your cameras.
Yeah but it’s ok if they do it because they’re big brother 😂
making millions its not even on itv 1 and only people seen talking about it is news channels not normal people
Exactly 💯 😭😭😭📹🤳...cldnt be more ironic!
TV stations: Don't film us, we have a right to privacy.
Also TV stations. We are in public and we can film anything. We have a right to know!
Under signing and guarding regulations where a footpath is closed and pedestrians are required to walk around the cordoned area onto a road, there is a requirement when entering a road to provide a footpath barrier to protect against accidents between vehicles and pedestrians.
Yep, we have those kinds of regulations in my country too. When there is work being done on the sidewalk, pipes are being dug out or tiles relaid of whatever, they always place the protective railing out into the street so that you can go there because the sidewalk is obstructed, sometimes bikes and pedestrians have to share that path due to their operation crossing both the sidewalk and the biking path which is then indicated by a sign that shows this. I think it's a good system, it works, we all just have to abide by that stuff for the purpose of being considerate to each other and to avoid harm.
Shows who they are. Only interested in protecting the shed.

The irony of them not wanting someone filming is unbelievable
totally lost on them
Incredible isn’t it 😅😂
It's insane. But hey, it's her job and she's trying. Don't believe for a second she doesn't understand, she does.
Biggest irony is someone filming the set of a show that none of his fans like.
One of your best DJ 👍🏼 these people 🙄 jumped up no-nothings - keep up the good work ⭐️
They are correct to be worried about drones filming their stuff. But not to send a bully to make law abiding people go away. They acted like this is completely unexpected, when they should already have plans to deal with this graciously. Considering the popularity factor this could have already happened with someone way less professional than DJ. Or even a malicious kind of clout chaser or troll.
"Are you a runner?"
The only running he's done is to a kebab shop. 😂
The gas tool and the walkie talkie were an excellent touch! You had the first security guy completely perplexed.
Let me get this straight, “if you are on a public footpath, you cannot be zooming people, you get me!” I am blown away by the highly trained security officer! LOL.
That’s the problem. The training is inadequate and not fit for purpose.
When he was on about Zooming people I had to check it wasn't Fat Larry talking. 😂

That's right, security cameras on houses and buildings, street cameras, cameras in cars, NPR cams at car park entrances (which snap every driver), tourists snapping away, webcams filming you and a thousand other types of public cameras, but get your phone or a camcorder out and BANG! - a qualified Wetherspoons lawyer appears with all the relevant legislation glued inside his empty head, often with the terribly embarrassing statement: "I knows the law". What the fuck does THAT mean? You know what laws, All of them? A few of them? Criminal Law? Family Law? Motoring Law? Property Law? All English Law? By spouting that halfwittery you announce to the world a colossus of personal stupidity before you even start, and just once I'd love to see DJ cross-examine a halfwit on that issue.

These film crews are always such an entitled bunch of tossers. They want to curtail everyone else's rights rather than work correctly within the parameters of the law. If they want privacy then they need to make it, not try to intimidate others out of their freedoms. Excellent work DJ.

Never - they hire these thugs for a reason
Agreed. But as long as you know your rights, don't let them intimidate or bully you. Dj is great for educating people on this
Lol it’s not corruption you moron!
I have done an SIA course and they don’t teach you things like rights on filing etc because they don’t expect some bellend throwing his weight around for his you tube channel.
They focus on important things like keeping people safe.
The course is about 4 days long and when they tell you you need to display your licence at all times they tell you once at some point and it probably gets lost in the mountain of information you have to remember.
You think any of these security guards get in trouble for not having it on display 😂😂😂

Just noticed something 12.12 foot path closed , there is a major problem there , by law they have to put temporary ramps at kerb also they have to cone off a safe walkway minimum 700 mm wide for wheelchairs as they are forcing people to walk in the road
12.30 they have built a ramp at the kerb for there staff , double standards?
And give 3weeks notice of closure, unless an emergency.
As a wheelchair user who’s dealt with local issues with pavements, drop kerbs and ramp access for road works and other accessible spaces in my area you are absolutely right, that is a legal requirement, again it shows how these companies don’t care and cut corners in the hope no one will notice or complain, until there’s a lawsuit from someone whose fallen off the curb or been hit by a vehicle who didn’t see them 🤷🏻♀️

To be honest, this is the first video that I have watched from this channel - it was recommended to me after watching videos by CyclingMikey. What I find very contrasting is how CylingMikey is helping to reinforce the law - but within 5 minutes of this video I can see this guy is essentially exploiting the law. I wouldn't dream of being this entitled and brazen about flying over locations that clearly want their privacy respected. I'd definitely be questioning you as these guys did, the difference is that I'd fall back and let you do it, but I'd let you know that I personally don't condone what you're doing or your attitude.
@@SeahorsesJay Do you think they phoned Google, and told them they can't take photos? Is it only big companies that are allowed to do it.
Say you stood on top of a step ladder, on public property in Canada, and filmed? Or the balcony of an adjacent building, say you filmed from their, would that be illegal? Say you flew over in a light aircraft, and your passenger took photos, would that be illegal? Just curious.
This was right up there with you best videos DJ. Handled Professionally. I wish I had your control. I do have to thank you for educating me better about the 249g drone laws as I used to be quite nervous flying mine, if confronted not being very confident but those days are gone now.
At 40:20 she disagrees with you and then says "I know a lot about Privacy laws!" Then in the next breath says "We are appealing to your good nature" So its not illegal then is it otherwise you wouldn't hesitate to call the police.
Too funny 😂
On the scanning they can definitely call the police whether a charge would be made not sure but would be investigated
@@mpol701 Police wouldn't be interested. No offence has been committed. You can listen to anything you want over the radio spectrum. It's only if you transmit on an unlicenced or reserved frequency that an offence is committed. A scanner doesn't transmit anything just receives signal.
@@mpol701what crime is it to listen to a public frequency?
I think they should hire you and others like you to do more filming like this, I believe your viewing figures are higher than theirs. Love it!
Your channel is the greatest thing since sliced bread m8. Keep it up buddy 💯.
I have just brought a DJI Mini 4 pro and I am very impressed with what this little drone can do. I live in a little town in New Zealand called Dunedin in the suburb off Caversham. And while sitting on my balcony I have a perfect flight path to the beach, St Clair and St Kilda and never have any probs with power coz these drones can fly for ages. So I fly, I fly like the birds 🚁🦜
You’ve earned your financial reward for this one DJ for sure! I enjoyed every minute of it - Great stuff 😅
one half of me would love to pick up a camera and go audit places, the other half gets mad and starts shouting at my computer screen when these idiots talk nonsense, keep up the amazing work DJ!
Loving the bag full of meters, really needed an irony meter though for the makers of big brother getting all hot under the collar about people being filmed! 😂
Thanks DJ, you have helped me to pick out my next heist! Im stealing all the used panties!
As a fan of Big Brother, and someone who had a great day out at auditions years ago, thank you so much for giving an aerial view of the latest house!!!! Such a shame to see the bad response from the security and staff, but wow, to see it from the air shows that it is much smaller than it appeared on launch night and the shows afterwards!! Excellent, keep up the good work DJ!
I thought the same thing. Very small
It's always been small , big brother at elstree wasn't very big
How can anyone be a "fan" of that dumbed down nonsense? 😂
It's cheeky even calling them security
Arching big brother is like watching mainstream news. It rots the brain.
_"If you are in [sic] a public footpath, you are not allowed to be zooming people, get me ? You can't be zooming me."_
To be fair, that's word for word what's written in the Public Order Act.
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡
😂😂😂
😆🤣😆🤣😆
Oh you are awful, but I like you 😊😊
Man, the way you handled this shit was honestly hilarious. The way you said you might "regret" being nice to them, so you wanted to wait it out, man, that was gold.
hahaha you are my new rabbithole lol , you are a righteous windup merchant , and its hilarious how you run rings round these people . well done .
Old Media vs New Media how one man with a camera is able to intimidate a massive organisation whilst at the same time providing more entertainment than their entire output.
You’ve made the Daily Mail, well done. Need all the auditors to visit now.
The Big Brother house was struck by a breach of security on Thursday morning which left bosses in a panic as they scrambled to stop the infringement. A UA-camr had attempted to fly a drone over the Big Brother house, trying to scour the studios. According to The Sun, a man claimed he had also somehow hacked into their radio systems and managed to listen into crew conversations. After spotting the man, the security team attempted to usher him away to prevent a breach, but he refused to move. The unknown man, who continued to film surroundings, reportedly shouted: 'I will defend myself.'
@@FotoAntonioCanadalol 'hacked into their radios' you mean changed to the public channel they were using 🤣
THATS THE NEWS FOR YOU@@MrMongoose221
@user-mb6bl2rj9m The Daily Mail still writing about 💩.
So funny 😂😂😂
As a festival organiser myself, I can't tell you how many bad security companies exist out there. It's a complete joke and puts peoples lives at risk.
📸 How embarrassing for the security guards. They are the stars of this video 📹 😂😂😂.. You get me! 😂
You've managed to put the whole show on lock down.
Thats disgusting.
I LOVE IT!
Yeah what a shame. 😂 keep it up! It's crap anyway!
That’s hilarious!
I didn't realise it was even on. I might have to go through and watch a few episodes in the background doing chores etc, just to see whether the lockdown is mentioned at all lol. Then again, I'm not a masochist, so maybe not.
Lock down because you had a camera what is the world coming to totally over the top . Well done DJ for standing up for your rights 👏
Drones can carry stuff, could have been a danger to people for all they know. There are crazy people out there that might intend to do harm, or plant something like a hidden mic, while lying about their intentions.
@@ThereminHeroRight. This is insane how many people here are blindly following and supporting this guy. Of course they're not going to allow this, they're not mind readers and they don't know what he's truly up to. This guy knew full well what the deal was and was looking to egg on a confrontation while only seeming passive but saying and doing things meant to make an issue. Pure example of passive aggressiveness.
@@Liverpool5095 If you dont like it then go to your local council and petition to implement new laws. There are literally publically open meetings citicenz can attend and input their wishes an with enough people you could get laws pushed towards parliment. But no you just blame and shoot the messenger instead of doing anything about it yourselves
I've had people treat me like shit in person, and you know what? There was fuck all i could do about it, because there's no law against people talking to you like you're a bit of shit on their shoe. I could retaliate but where would that get me? Unless there's a law in place to stop things you dont like, you can either cry about it or go try and get laws implemented. Jeez none of you people THINK about anything other then what offends you
Mate, the “lock down” is not for security. It’s for the cast. They have to go inside when there’s a drone about, because they don’t want details of the next episode to be leaked.
From intimidation tactics to guilt tripping and emotional speeches. 10/10 audit, 1/10 place 😂
You have to laugh at the irony , a studio that films and intrudes on peoples every moment , objecting to somebody filming their building .
Dont interrupt a drone pilot my friend 😂😂 I was crying
