I love that Nina tries to enunciate her words without over doing it, keeping the essence of how Singaporean talk and that is natural & familiar & close to heart. Earned a new sub here!
Before there was TTS I didn't really like Nina and Sylvia ( NOT saying i hated them just not really like them so much) as I watched TTS, now I love them so much
Same here.. I mean back then I was not really into Sylvia and Nina.. now I see many interesting side of these two amazing girls.. also Sylvia is actually Chio..
Thank you for sharing!! I'm a JC student and I honestly have no idea what I want to study after my A levels or what career path I want to pursue but it comforts me to know that what I want to do in the future doesn't have to be restricted by University Degree and it's okay to continue exploring new things :)
Still catching up on your videos and loving them. It is so cool the passion in your eyes when you talk. It is so fun watching two beautiful ladies talk so open and honest.

Really enjoyed it so much!!!! Will re-watch also 😂 The thirsty sisters are my favourite duo currently!!! 🤩😍 And yesssss this podcast really helped me and my other friends and really consoled us cos some of us got rejected from job and uni applications and dont know what to do in life 😭
The moment when nina talks about hard being a UA-camr reminds me of how Nicholas was being knocked out in one of the episode where nina cried and said "this is hard work it really is"... Hang in there tts! And looking forward to greater content produced by noc

Great video and discussion, showing reality check to many ppl out there. Having said that, it's do-able and can be true. My ambition when I was 5 is just to draw to make a living. 29 years later, I'm doing art for a living. It's all about perseverance and you need really to be passionate about it but at the same time be realistic.
This rlly helped me as my psle is this year and made me have a peek of wat it's like to lose your ambition and not knowing what to do is a phase for everyone in life
From being a retail associate selling food products in marks and spencer, barista in a few cafes, organising team building events since 17, to reading up some books regarding economics and digital content, while pursuing science (engineering to be specific) as my major, isit a worrying sign that I still havent found what i really love to do despite hitting 23 on the date of this video is posted? Just a bubble above my head. anyway, thanks for the video which i find it super relatable.
Great advises here, though I feel that graduates and new job seekers here may have a dream or goal or two, many forget to plan some contingencies; which does cushion the fall and help you get back on track faster; should you not get what you planned for.
When I was in primary 2, my teacher accused me of stealing her ring?!?!? She is the one who took out her ring. It was traumatic for me and I wanted to be a teacher then!
This is very relatable and I love your podcasts!!!❤️❤️❤️ your stories and advice have inspired me so much so I’m Super thankful That you guys are speaking Up about this topic!! :) I’ll always be listening to your podcasts 👍🤣
what!? recently i have been thinking if i have met Nina when we were young, and i must be overthinking, but now she mentioned that she's from st francis seminary play centre! hahah. yo schoolmate!
My maths was really terrible, then my teacher got fed up and threw my textbook lol. I still can remember. but without her, i won’t have an A lol but after graduation, my maths drop back to 0

i thought i couldn't do an office job too, but the fact is no all office jobs are made the same. Hating office jobs i think is when you talk about the mundane - admin etc jobs.
Why do i feel like i want to experiment with a pig's heart after all te description that sylvia said? Tbh it just made me more interested in being a scientist of some sort
wah y'all play with the heart only very good alr, our school got dead frog for dissection and we really need to perform "surgery" on the frog and cut open the belly and remove the organs all LOL. but sis here wasn't disgusted lah I was quite detached from the whole "was once an alive animal" aspect. and I worked as a nurse for about a year-ish soooo, I guess I got the stomach for it hahah
Love this ! I relate to this on so many levels Tip: if you realise you don't like what you're studying in poly early on and you want do things in a different field, leave!! No point staying on, once you get the diploma, it limits the amount of jobs/courses you can apply for in the future
My PrettyGloriousPrincess Sylvia, I understand pretty woman like you have high expectations when it comes to finding your life partner, most singapore woman will expect their life partner to be handsome and charming with a good career prospect and have lots of money, it is normal because I believe it is the type of man most woman wants for their life partner. I hope you can find a good man of your choice and I'm looking forward to see the both of you in your future videos. All the best to you. Your happiness is my happiness...爱你的diehard fan...哈哈哈...😅
This is very random wkwk In the first episode where Sylvia was joking about how eating is an exercise too, could anybody else also tell that she has an experience in some sort of intense biological science course from her choice of words?? She used words like 'esophagus' and 'gastro tract' which are very scientific terms instead of saying 'throat' and 'stomach'. This episode just confirmed my suspicion cause I didn't know before that she once took intense bio science for years!!

I dissected a fish before during science class and I kept on gagging so i stood far far away from the group and this was in P3/4
Good thing I'm in normal bio. Only dissect flowers XD
