I never knew anything about the history of Zimbabwe and this one interview has had me watching videos and archival footage for the last two hours, it’s absolutely fascinating and I am that much more eager to see the film! We should really be taught more “modern” history in schools. The text books usually go as far as WWII and then drops off because the year ends. It’s ridiculous how many times I heard about the Revolutionary War of America but never about so many others. It helps to not feel American Exceptionalism if you see that we are not the exception, revolutions came before us and they have come after and still are.

The problem of Zimbabwe is not missing democracy or missing human rights. The problem of Zimbabwe are the Sanctions from America and UK.
While young Zimbabweans don't come to realise this, the struggle will not end, and you can change as many leaders as you want...
Fight the right war for your country, and don't be distracted...

Going as Thandi instead of Thandiwe I assume promoted her chances significantly.

@@angrysocialjusticewarrior Sweetheart, I understand the show biz name change. I just stated that I always preferred Thandiwe (which IS easy to pronounce btw) to Thandi which is nice but; less melodic and interesting. Changing one's name for show business purposes is a old practice that everyone is aware of. And sometimes, once a measure of success is achieved; some entertainers decide to go professionally by their legal name (i.e. John Mellencamp, formerly "Cougar"). Take care.

We've gotten so beaten down by the "government" (read: dictatorship) in Zimbabwe that we've forgotten that this isn't right. 42 years of evil is neither normal or right

He couldn’t contain as usual and him being wise held back and knew when to yield . I feel that we all are selectively aware and aren’t experiencing a trapped existence I have absolute faith that Love is here and is definite and changes along with suffering is in progress. Healing suffering is a calling and a 3 will bring these human matters to light for momentum to change while in understanding to stay in Love.
