To be fair, that deck did slam all of his opponents harder than an angry chef slams a piece of bread onto another piece of bread in order to make a sandwich.

@@Kholdaimon He weakened the deck significantly against quest druid, all Rogues, the mirror, mech pally, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Freeze effects have always been so counter productive to mage... I mean, they get unfrozen next turn anyway right? Lol

How is it counterproductive? Mage is often a late-game deck and Freeze allows you to stall to late game, it can buy time to assemble combos, set up clears on the following turn or enable them with doomsayer. Freeze is a very powerful effect.

Eh, when it comes to Highlander, it's less about building the deck "correctly" and more about building the version of the deck YOU are comfortable piloting.

@@arifridwanabriyanto9286 Doomsayer is still decent without any freezes. Usually buys you a turn especially when played early game. If for example hunter plays a minion on turn 1 and 2 and doesnt have weapon on turn 3, doomsayer ends up killing both minions and the hunter cant play anything on board.
@@Ex0rz yea, but still, its like thousand times more useful with freeze effect. Thats why not every control or midrange deck run doomsayer, simply because not every deck has freeze effect like mage.And you cant rely on draw it very early.
Frost Nova and Blizzard are like... 2 of the most impactful mage cards there are though. Specters, Doomsayer, Pilgrim, so much other shit would have been better to cut. You don't exactly run a lot of taunts as mage, so just slapping minions down isn't going to cut it unless you can limit face damage on a whole-turn basis.
When you're playing 400 mana worth of cards on turn 6 do you really need taunts ? Btw he plays this game all day everyday for a living I'm sure he knows what the cards do and how they are or aren't impactful. Specter gets tempo pilgrim gets a free spell that's better than stalling to me.

@@daledullnig1778 Correct play is to alex opponent's face and freeze the 5/5, bringing him down to 3 health. Only way the opponent survives on board is to plague of death which sets up for malygos lethal next turn, or have 2nd mass hysteria in the top 15 cards of his deck which is unlikely.
@@__--_--_----- While that would take the opponent down to 2, Trump only had 8 mana available.

Isn't it funny that Luna's Pocket Galaxy was never played at 7 mana, was buffed and ridiculously OP at 5 mana, and now that people realized it still can win the game on the spot it is seeing play at 7 mana? I wonder how many degenerate combos people can come up with if everybody didn't play the same exact versions of five to six decks depending on the meta.
You realize that for reno decks that you will play the 3rd -5th best cards of a given slot for lunas pocket galaxy. Also if meta shifts to very heavy control decks like control warrior lunas pocket galaxy is good.

Can someone tell me why the zephyrys didn't give Trump bloodlust? I thought he was always suppost to give lethat. Yes, I know there are some ridicules situations where he doesn't give you lethal (e.g. when a card in your deck that you are guaranteed to draw gives you lethal, but zephyrys doesn't look at the deck) but that didn't seem like such a weird case.

Priest should ditch the Galakrond package and play the Quest again. It's so much better even if your opponent plays around it. So you play the Albatross Grave Rune package with the quest it's the best version imo.

8:15 I fail to see how he had lethal with BL there. If he threw the Giant into the taunt, he'd have 10 damage (1+1+1+3+4=10). Then you add BL to that and get 25. Opponent had 29 health. Please tell me I'm missing something obvious.

Ping Taunt + attack with 7 power Reno. Rest face: 29
If he uses BL first, the 1 attack minions become 4 attack ones and he can bump two of them into the taunt. After that, there is a giant with 11, a scalerider with 6, one minion with 4 and the Reno with 7 attack left over, which provides lethal with the hero power.

Way off the mark on Res Priest, the Galakrond + Grave Rune build is by far the strongest. It’s also the most popular, so not really ‘interesting’ in that sense.
Most popular does not equal strongest. Any priest without quest is dogshite.

All I can think about is how Trump specifically chooses NOT to include golden versions of cards in his deck even though he has them.
I personally appreciate it. Non-golden cards have better visibility/are more recognizable at a glance.
