- A very broken down, acoustic version of one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands. I've had this arrangement in my mind for quite some time and hopefully I've done this justice. Huge thanks to Dad for recording and mixing the audio. Also a big ass thanks to Alan Luiz (A LUIZ ARTISTRY) for the video. If you like it feel free to share! :)
Wow. You have, arguably, done one of the most moving acoustic renditions of this song that I have heard. I frequently listen to Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years", because it helps me reminisce to when I was a teenager, which is when I first heard this Iron Maiden classic. Now, as someone who is a much more calm and mellow man in his 40s, your slower rendition revives this classic and makes it relevant to my temperament today. Thank you for doing this!

Dude. Your cover popped up after watching Anneke van Giersbergens cover of the same song. That's a Hard act to follow.... But very nice cover!
This is very good! No complaints, but maybe some constructive criticism?
The only thing missing from this (and probably the hardest thing to do) is some vibrato in the vocals. I was there when this album was released (and all before it) and know this song front to back, and this is definitely one of the better acoustic covers I've heard. But Bruce's sound is extremely difficult to emulate, and the vibrato is one of his strong points, and is a main staple of Maiden's sound. To truly do this song justice, you need to incorporate this.

Probably my favourite, band between Ac/Dc and Metallica, but point is awesome. Metal huge in you're home, so I am proud too. Being a part of Colonialism (True Kiwi, hopefully our own identity too). I have seen Maiden live twice, a real privilege fiscally, always a privilege. Please check out Thomas Zwijsen on UA-cam. He was recognised by Blaze Bayley. And never pays anyone lip service, on an album, cover, what a gift. A Classical master, says something about Metal in general. Damn, marketing and sale, when I hear the music I let it play. In our modern world at least I get to hear you and communicate with you. From one Musician (Not Guitarist), Brother does all the magic, with the electronics. Analog Audio Engineer/Electrical. One of our best, without the fame. Damn Pop Music, music first. :) Will stop here, hope I inspire you as you do me. Thanks for sharing.
