When my Grandmother passed away in 2005, I took what she had wrote from her corkboard, "God allows bad things to happen to good people, to wean them from the world" That's this message in a nutshell. Thank the Holy Spirit and Pastor JD for this teaching! Praise and prayers always ✝💙

Since i broke my leg last year i was on bed rest for 3 months and now i have been having back pain and sacroiliac joint inflammation and Doctor says it's Ankylosis Spondylitis and I'm very scared. I accepted Jesus Christ since almost 2 years. I was a Hindu before but now after knowing the "Good Shepherd" i cannot go anywhere else. I hope it's just an gym injury or an injury while i was traction machine. I hope this gets over soon. Lord please help me, my brothers and sisters in Christ my Family please pray to God, to have some mercy on me, i have many responsibilities that i need to fulfill and i need some rest and comfort. He who started the good work in me will take it to the finish line, i cannot do anything on my own i depend on Lord Jesus Christ for everything. Help me please.

Giving the analogy of a child asking why is very helpful in sharing with others who continue to ask why. I believe mysteries just have to be accepted by faith because God is God.

I was so moved again by the urgency of the time we are in and the need to share with those God has put in front of me, dispite their unwillingness to hear what they know I believe. I'm convinced that if I endure in prayer for them God will prepare their hearts for me or someone else to share again with them that they might be saved. Thank you pastor for keeping up the encouragement that God will bring it all to pass of His Great Love.

Heehee, how I remember those pillows!! even tried books preparing for that whoopin. The worst part was waiting for it. Later in life I moved to different protection called self, but when God came for me there was no hiding or protection from the refining fire. It was tough, and I must have been an extra thick vessel. All I can say now is Thank You God for the refining fire

So many of my other friends are deliverance pastor's. I get so tired of hearing that what is the sin I am holding on to. I have been in 2 car accidents and now they say I have RA. I have repented of every sin and generational sins. Have ask begged for healing. Just to let you know God has healed me many times and used me to pray for other's and Jesus healed them. I don't know why my back and muscle are always hurting. I know God knows his plan. I have trusted him since 1996 that he will heal me. Thank you for your message I really needed it.
Geri Mcgee ..I'm like you..I am in constant pain. I wish I could remember exactly, but it is Paul talking about his Thorns and one of them is his failing eyesight. I believe that it is one of my thorns. I often see people being healed and I'm truly happy. I remind myself that I have so much and the pain is a reminder one day we will have new bodies and no more pain😀

Very long story short God did correct me very clearly and yes I did finally give an apology to my sister.
I know that I have made God angry in the past. I owed an apology to my sister and actually tried to argue with God in why I didn't want to give it and why I wanted to remain mad.

Asami Akihito we all fall short of the Glory of God, I have ignored Him over some issues for almost all my life and I still try to be in charge of them, alot. But that is the fallen nature of a human, I am a tough, old, dried up bit of clay, but through the Living Waters He replenishes me and continues to work with me, and I am very different to who I used to be but nothing like what He will make of me in the end. He isnt angry at you or me, He is patient and kind, and the people who knew us before can be touched by how God turned around a stubborn sinner - if they will see. He loves you, don't try to change yourself, trust that He will complete the work He started in you, just (I know it's not easy) "Be Still and Know I am God" Psalm 46:10 "My Grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness" 2Cor 12:9.

I know this is an old comment, but how are you doing now?
I've been following your sermons lately and they had been so helpful to me but then again some sermons have really made me confused as to why i couldn't understand which have troubled me probably because from my past sins that i had done that I've already had asked forgiveness from our Lord Jesus and i ask the lord why it's making me confused of why its giving me a lot of headache, so i prayed and just gave it up and surrendered it to our lord. That night i dreamed about my parents and then after i woke up my holy spirit tells me to just be like a "Child". You don't have to understand all these things as a normal innocent child would never understand all things in scriptures. Children can't even read the bible yet but they believed in Jesus because that's what their parents do they go to church together and pray to Jesus and they don't even understand what's happening inside the church especially if the priest starts to read the scriptures etc. coz the only thing they can understand is when the adults kneel down and pray to Jesus that's why they follow their parents. and that should also be for the rest of us to return to our innocence when we were all children and have that fear to parents if we commit mistakes they might spank us and in that we fear of ever committing any mistakes but if ever we do, our parents would just teach us and forgive us and be happy again. We are also dependent on them for our food, clothing and shelter. That's why Jesus wants to us be like children that knows nothing about scriptures like the pharisees do but the children believed and we just have to be dependent on him on all our needs. That's why i hope in your church you also have to be kid friendly and welcome the children who won't understand your sermons but they get to believe in Jesus our Lord.

This was an awesome message but I have to admit that I'm struggling with anger against the Lord. I've had multiple trials over the past 10 years or so, and the past year especially has been extremely difficult. I'm way under-insured.....my diabetes is out of control.....I'm a cancer survivor (so far), etc. I can't get the gov't to help me with my Medicare issues. All I have is Part A. I didn't take the rest of Medicare when I first became eligible as I was already covered by Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB). In 2015, FEHB's prices went up so much I had to give it up. It was at that point I found out about Medicare's late signup fee.
I'm on Federal Employee Disability/Retirement and SSDI. The government acts as though money grows on trees and that I should be able to afford that charge.
That was a really nasty surprise. I'm about as good as terminally ill w/o specialist help. I get angry with the Lord about allowing so much heartache in my life. I really can't take anymore and I keep saying to Him "What are you doing to me?" Not only that, I am ashamed to say that I have been blaspheming his Holy Name.
Needless to say, I am in a very bad place and in desperate need of prayers. It feels as if He is picking on me. I'm broken as it is. How much more does He expect me to take?
I have a question JD how do we know that it's God disciplining us and not just an attack by satan
Pastor J.D we'd like to come to your church and visit, we;r coming from Pennsylvania so we're flying, where do we fly into what airport is clost to your church? Also, is their a camp ground near where you live we would like to rent a camper and camp near by we'd have to also rent a small suv. for sightseeing and going to church and all. I would like to visit your church for maybe a month or two. or three. depends on how things work out for us here on the main state we have to get things set up in order for us to visit.

4:50 hmmm...I think God is angry when he decides the following... Ezekiel 8 -18 Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.’ Late in 9:5 As I listened, he said to the others, ‘Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. 6 Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.’ So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple.
AND of course there are countless references to death and destruction in the old testament at the recorded direction of GOD...
Ezekiel5:8 ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations. 9 Because of all your detestable idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again. 10 Therefore in your midst parents will eat their children, and children will eat their parents. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds. 11 Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you. 12 A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.
13 ‘Then my anger will cease and my wrath against them will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I have spent my wrath on them, they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.
I will agree...we are in the same situation as Ezekiels lament with the current state of affairs.
Read the book... understand where we are in relationship to the current state of affairs and where we are headed. Present the truth and let the receiver decide what their path will be...Ezekiel 3 -16
Ezekiel’s task as watchman
16 At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me: 17 ‘Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, “You will surely die,” and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.
20 ‘Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling-block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.’
But Jesus Christ came and Took our Sins away. When he died on the cross once and for all to anyone who will believe it is a free gift from God. We are no longer under his wrath.WE are not under the Law, We all do deserve to die yet when we believe we are forgiven and given eternal life. This is Grace, this is the Gospel the "good News' He deals with his Church as a loving father to a child. In Christ he sees NO sin but rather looks at the attitude of our hearts because he Lives INSIDE of us now he is continually working on us. When we are stubborn and in unbelief as his children he will discipline us, sometimes even unto death. but we ourselves are saved and sealed in HIM,
