i can feel the majesty and agony of being alive, all in that intro...Ian, I am So Sorry for the loss of Brian, and All of your fans are So Thankful for Big Wreck. Thank you for this performance, and for every other one before and after.
Saw the MTV video for this in about '98...instantly one of my favorite bands. This 1st CD went with me to Iraq 2003, so glad now on vinyl. Saw them 2017 with Brian
Amazing song, will always give me chills. It was the song that came on the radio when I left the hospital the night my wife died. Great rendition. Carry on BW!!
Every live version I have heard over the years of this only gets better each time. But this...this is next level stuff. Unbelievable. I can only imagine the emotion going through these guys at this show. Thank you for sharing this vid, Chad...I am seeing them here in Wash DC in Sept...can't wait!
I teared up at 8:22, because that's Brian's space that Ian stepped in to, and it seemed so unnatural. Glad they're playing as a 3 piece for this tour. It's a proper nod to what he meant to not only the band in its current form, but especially Ian as a whole.
I teared up at the beginning when i saw just the three-piece, because i knew Brian just couldn't be there. And then i just stayed that way the whole time.
Around the 6 minute mark quite a bit of conversation filters into the audio to a large degree. I'd say Ian sings a bit louder to over ride it. I'd like to have been there too. Singing harmony is cool, talking loudly does not add to the performance.
Best band on planet earth. Closing eyes and absorbing the sound. Cannot get enough of this band. The talent of Ian is otherworldly. ❤️

These guys have been in my top five band favorites since their 1997 debut .. talk about ROCK. Not the wishy washy stuff of today!

@@brettthejet9854 yeah, that’s a really good one, too. This one here, for me at least, really hits home.
But hey, they’re all great

So so very good, I wish I had been there. Powerful stuff.
I'm fucking amazed I saw that.
The real feels coming down at 7:54 ...
Awesome! The musicianship of this band is off the charts. It'll take a bit to get used to them as a three-piece tho.
Stan Bark just saw them live nov 1 st .. Chris Caddel was amazing .. Miss Brian very much though 😭
from 6 pc down to 3 pc and sounding awesome!!!!
Five members 😎🇨🇦
Amazing!!!
That pain in your soul when you lose a brother.
😭😭😭
Audience yakking like they are the Holiday Inn. Alchohol makes concerts worse.
