Two things I'd like to point out: you get massive skill bumps if you train creative skills at the Casbah Gallery, and the city posters are worth a lot of simoleons. Usually only 85-225, but when you can harvest three of them easily in one area, you get money fast. It's great for rags to riches, or if your sim wants more of a freelance job, or even no job at all. For example, I did a rags to riches play where I just gathered and sold city posters until he had enough money to go to the jungle to hunt for treasures and artifacts. Now he's an archeologist with a really cool apartment. It all started with the posters!
I also did rags to riches like that using the Posters as main income system first, then go to karaoke to improve singing skill so my sim can license her song once she mastered that skill. Between those moments, she also performed at the gallery as a living statue (it brings a lot of money in the Art Gallery)
@@nohandlethanx You need to unlock the golden outfits by tipping a living statue in the streets...then you have to put that outfit with "plan an outfit" as one of your sims outfits and finally, while weating the outfit, you click on your sim and you can have the option to perform as a living statue
Do I just not explore this game enough? I had NO idea the lavender gardens were a thing at all! I'm headed there RIGHT NOW to take some selfies with my sim! Thank you Petey sooo much for the information! You always amaze me with every video! Cya Later!
I didn't think you were going to be able to show me anything new because I've played there so much and then you immediately blew my mind with the whole area around the park ⁰l
I love learning about all the hidden features of San Myshuno. I am doing a pack legacy challenge where each gen is a new expansion pack and when I get to the City Living gen, I am going to need this!
Another fabulous video! People complain about The Sims 4 not being open-world enough but so many of the areas are larger than they seem with many interactable places and items! :D The Sims 4 is definitely worth exploring! Thanks for the great videos! :D
I have never been there in San Myshuno, all these years and just now seeing how nice this park and other areas is, especially the little outdoor bar nice.
Same sis.. I ain’t never been to that park all the years I’ve had this game. I even uploaded a new park and still never went to it 😩 but I’m definitely gonna explore in and around it now.
The Uptown apartment complex reminds me of the kinds of skyscrapers that were connected together with bridges or floor levels that I saw when I visited Singapore.
San Myshuno has always been my FAV world :) My arty, alternative sims always live in the fountainview penthouse in the Arts Quarter, which they use as a home studio/greenhouse :) And omg I DID NOT KNOW about the posters!!!! Cannot wait to get this collection started!! THANK YOU
Myshuno Meadows is one of my favorite places ever! The surrounding area is so beautiful. I can't believe I did not know about the electric box poster things! I need to try that out now!
O.O I had no idea the area around the park was that big! I definitely have to send my trio there to find the hidden bar and explore all the gardens and such. Though I knew about the fishing spot behind The Old Salt House, mostly because I turned that lot into a grocery store my Sims are gonna run (they live on a farm in Henford-On-Bagley and I thought it appropriate they sell their produce in the city).
The park is my favorite date spot in all of Sims 4. It is beautiful! Lots of places to sit and chat. Bathroom if you have to pee. Kitchen if you need a quick meal.
I love San Myshuno as is BUT....if you play PC I would highly recommend getting TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L kit... you can add bathrooms and other objects to the common areas to really make living your best life. I also have buildings that go along with the festival themes that I drop in via gallery whenever I go to the festivals - basically a popup shell- so you can have a whole wedding in the romance festival with a romance-themed building instead of a karaoke bar. I add horseshoes and a bathroom near the bar in the park, a mural on the concrete fishing area, additional wedding arches, and seating, I add toddler play equipment, and a bathroom near the kids' playground. and champagne stations in the gardens. With county living, I add picnic tables for picnic basket dates.
I did take the gallery down to add a community board with a community area to do all that stuff there. Love this city. You are making me want to bring my sim back to the city. Though I really like his house in the Mountains.
i'm definitely playing with this pack next!! i started a save that has only basegame, seasons, parenthood and tiny living (packs that i think is essential for my gameplay) so i could maximize playing in each pack without getting distracted by the other features. i'll add city living once i'm done with base game 😁
Nice! This is my favorite World! I changed it to be more Cyberpunk in Style. I also made the arts distric my main hub for artists, and using your ideas from one of your videos about types of artists, I got rid of all that empty space in the galery and made distinct rooms for photos/paintings I took with my own artists in game. The rooms are as follows: Nature. Architecture. Adult art. Supernatural. Religious. Neon. Celebrities. Portraits. Pets. I also have an exact copy of the galery that I turned into a Market place for an annual event where people gather to trade/sell their paintings and photos. I like to create stories for my worlds and this is one of the coolest for sure. I created a curator who decides what goes in the galery and I have my sims give her parties, take her on dates and basically try to bribe her to get their work displayed! Lots of Drama for sure! Sorry for the long text!
I've always loved San Myshuno but who would've thought I would love it even more after this video??? I need to open up the game and check the world once more.
The quake zone lot challenge is particularly useful in the worlds of Mt. Koromebi, Sulani, Tartosa, Del Sol Valley, Ciudad Enamorada, San Sequoia, Tomarang, and other worlds based on locations that are seismically active. Under those circumstances the lot challenge would apply throughout the entire world.
I recently discovered that if you watch the mannequin street performer enough times and tip them, you unlock the same costume and your Sim can wear it to busk for tips
Brooo... Your camera work is awesome. The game looks livelier. Sadly, it doesn't happen when I play. Thanks for discover The Beauty surrounding of San Myshuno. It became my top tier Sims's world now.

a couple of days ago (as of this comment,) while taking part in the Humor & Hijinks Festival, one of my sims ended up laughing so much he died. kinda fun to experience, all things considered.
Love it. ♥ (Is it just me, or does Caleb Vatore look totally unhappy on his date night on Romance Festival? ;) Maybe he had wanted to taste the flower tea?)
I know this video was more about the city itself but did you know that if you level up the social media career, you can persuade sims to dress in the racoon costumes? Maybe that's where they all come from???
The more you stay in the Uptown, the more you feel bored / lonely tbh. I chose to move into Fashion District after in the Uptown Apartment, because it has some funny festivals i can play without loading my game more often
Also you can get the outfit of the statue guy if you tip him well! I have a question I was never been able to permanently add the t-shirts to your wardrobe that you buy at festivals Is it even possible? Thanks!!
Hi, I don't know if you wanted me to answer, but ive always done it by clicking other options and then clicking the buy and wear whatever t-shirt you need.
Can anyone confirm whether or not there's actually a train that passes through the Spice Market neighbourhood (or anywhere in the world)? I've never seen it
Used to really like San Myshuno until they messed up cutaway view for walls with highschool years patch... Now it just looks horrible being able to see inside neighboring apartments.
Since base game is now free, they should sell this and get to work with the base game for 30 dollars. I do know if you’re on Xbox and have gamepass you can sorta get get to work for free now.
