I agree this is a typical GW move for releases. Drop a major release and go quiet for a time. Once the cash has be blown, reveal a huge array of irresistable products to squeeze more money out. With the holiday season slowly approaching they are in a prime position to slam us with huge 40k releases. They definitely dont want anything 40k related getting in the way of Skaventide/AoS for now. They want this launch to be as succesful as it can be. Im willing to bet we wont get any major 40k news for the remainder of the month and most of next month, especially with the AoS starter boxes about to drop. Nova Open is more than likely when we will get our next major reveal for 40k leading into the holidays. We'll see the next roadmap similar to 2023 with two end of the year factions and then the first half of 2025. For now, we may not see any major releases aside from Agents of the Imperium until after Stormcast and Skaven get their second wave of models
@@FredrickDouglass69 This, much like how WotC (and Hasbro) have a stranglehold on the TTRPG market and the TCG market (with only Pokemon being a major contender and yu-gi-oh being in third place), Games Workshop kind of has a stranglehold on the Scifi/Fantasy miniatures wargame market. Honestly, World Eaters was the shittiest release of all time... so lazy, I wish GW had just deleted our army altogether! No Chaos Lords on foot of any kind, no Termies, no support characters, no Teeth of Khorne, no cavalry/bikers of any kind, no crazy Khornate daemon engines... And watch, with GW rolling all the various Daemons into their respective God codices, they count that as our model release, so we'll get nothing at all except for 3 throwaway detachments, one of which will be a crappy Daemons detachment that will be laughably unplayable. And that's assuming we even get a release at all in 10th!! With the rumors around the Daemon codex going away and the folding into the God codices, I wouldn't be surprised if GW take the lazy route, wait until Emp's Children to 'roll out' the 'new' format, and then rush out the other 3 books within the first codex wave of 11th edition... ALL the mono God Legions really need some new releases to pad out their rosters, especially 1kSons and the poor WE's!
@@keyanklupacs6333 We have the Lord Zufor forgeworld model, AND, the Warhammer+ subscription model already. We quite literally have not one, but TWO unique World Eaters terminator Chaos Lords and yet no way to actually play those models in the game!! WE's got fethed so hard in our release. GW owe us at least another 5-6+ kits at this point, and while they're at it, remove the stupid dinobots!! We want our own daemon engines given back to us, like brass scorpions, blood slaughters, etc...!
Totally dumb speculation just so if it does happen I can feel smart: 3 Agents of the Imperium boxes. Ordo Xenos, with Deathwatch marines (RIP separate army). Ordo Malleus, with Grey Knights (surprise! you've been Deathwatched). Ordo Hereticus, with new Tempestus kits as their troops (Scions removed from Guard codex). I think what will actually happen is like... repackaged old minis though. Good luck to all of us.
I highly doubt they’d remove scions from the guard codex, they’re too iconic for our faction, being our special forces, and our only deep strike option that isn’t linked to a forgeworld unit
Grey Knights will keep their own codex because they are NOT an Inquisition organisation!! Yes, they function as the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus, but they are still their own unique Chapter with their own internal command structure, and they function in support of, not under the orders of any Inquisitor. The Deathwatch on the other hand are simply highly specialised kill teams who typically are deployed in small numbers vs. larger company level formations. Of any of the Chamber Militants, they are by far the easiest to fold into an 'Inquisition book', and can thus also be used to easily pad out the faction roster...
@@drunkenastarte5243 The Deathwatch function similarly to the grey knights. They work "with" the inquisition, not for them. And like the grey knights they have their own organization and command structure. The lore says they can fight as kill teams or as big a force as is necessary for the task.
Good chance that only Emp's Children get released this edition... If the rumors are true that GW is removing the Daemons codex and shoving them into their respective God Legion codex, I can easily see GW taking the lazy route, and waiting until Emp's Children to roll out the 'new' style organization. Would also give GW the perfect excuse to not release any new models either, since they can just say, "well, you got all your daemons so that's basically a whole new model wave release in itself!" Never doubt GW's ability to gak on Chaos players... it's basically their favorite pastime! ;-)
On the subject of the Thousand Suns Automata, in the left hand rumour engine, is that a flayed face nailed on to the armour plate? Could be something for the Emperor's Children.
Hi! would love to see a new mechanicus tier list since the changes did shake them up a bit! (Also, im starting collecting them and Im curious about their model's strenghts and weaknesess!)
I thought they had announced books surrounding the Black Library last year. If that's the big story narrative for the edition, we could see Khan be the next primarch release and a range for aeldari and drukhari, maybe even a new avatar for Cegorach?
Waiting on that Night Lord's killteam has been horrible man. That VS box took forever to release and now the individual kit isnt out yet. I'm very close to buying that VS box at this point.
GW has ALWAYS shafted CSM's. You should've been around for 5th - 7th edition when they purposefully made CSM's into the biggest punching bag in 40k's history, while giving Loyalist scum every release under the sun! ;-)
Space Marine models make more money. If we want things to change, we can either stop buying SM (not happening) or buy the new NL KT to prove we love the idea (Also a bad idea)
We need the following Christmas boxes. 1. Blood angels. 2. Drukhari 3. Voltan with new units 4. Chaos demons (something non Korn) 5. Alderai - no new models but basically just refreshed. 6. Tau - but needs to be very budget friendly. Like 9 battlesuits.
Dark Mechanicum as the leading faction for 11th edition would make sense, The remaining lore for 10th edition might end in the full rise of Vashtor. As a fith Chaos God maybe. For AoS GW changed the number of Chaos Gods from four to five.
speaking as a cron and "renegade raiders" player... my absolute dream scenario would be a battle box of Trazyn vs Blackheart with their new models, fighting over some relic of some sort...
This couldn't have come at a better time, was about to start saving for Imp Knights! Thanks for the vid and good-luck to everyone entering the comp! :)
It appears that the Agents of the Imperium codex will be featuring Imperial Agents, Deathwatch, and Grey Knights. As can be seen on the leaked page it has a lore section on Grey Knights.
Instead of something like a sonic dreadnought, I'd like to see some sort of daemon engine that is like an ode to the old Hell Knight from Epic or even somehow the Subjugator - although probably not Warhound sized, more Imperial Knight sized perhaps. Maybe Noise Marines riding Fiends of Slaanesh too, just to differentiate it a bit from Seekers or even the Chariot options in the daemon equivalent armies. Phoenican Terminator's would be cool too, although I think they need something like wrist-mounted storm bolters like Grey Knights or like twin doom sirens from their shoulderplates haha.
The Codex line-up for the next 12 months better be good. Agents and Emperor’s Children are practically guaranteed, but beyond them I can’t help but think about Votann and World Eaters with half their faction missing or Guard who got their codex last in 9th. The Eldar obviously need new models, but I feel like their rules in 10th are good enough for Kill Team alone to support them for the next year.
I'm hoping that Ilic and Yriel don't get shuffled of to Legends Limbo. The Aeldari also need a Generic Corsair Prince. We might see the Blackstone Fortress Ranger get recycled as a Generic Ranger HQ.
That is a lot for only 1 more year. I hope they extend 10th past 3 years, but I assume they make to much money off of new editions to space them out more.

@@AzkuulaKtaktu I don't see any reason why anything would change for current Deathwatch. They are Space Marines, after all. Back when I was playing WH40k some 20 years ago there was no Deathwatch units proper. There were actually "Ultramarines Tyranid Hunters", and Deathwatch was just an alternate color scheme for Space Marines, so people could use the Inquisiton miniatures with their Space Marine armies, and didn't have to buy the very expensive (especially back then!) Grey Knights or Battle Sisters. Nowadays, Deathwatch has some own stuff, but at its core is still Space Marines. They aren't going to change that. Inquisitors are probably just going to be alternate leaders for Grey Knights (Malleus), Battle Sisters (Hereticus) or Deathwatch (Xenos), that will allow your army to field Officio Assasinorum Agents or Tempestus Scions, as well as the Inquisitors entourage which includes even more minor imperial subfactions. Maybe Adeptus Arbites (Galactic Police) will get miniatures, but I wouldn't expect it.

I bought the Dread Talons BF and reallocated some of my CSM units; I just need the Night Lords Legionaries to form the foundation of my new army. I’ll probably buy another Jump Pack Chaos Lord too. I’m considering buying the HH Mechanicum battle group, but only if I can use it in WH40K too. Although if the Dark Mechanicum is a new WH40K faction, I’ll buy that instead. i was hoping tsons would get a psychic dreadnaught, one of the characters from the 10th edition codex, Hidden ones, or Amitara occult. i suppose a robot is fine as long as its giving cabal pts.
I'm reallyyyy hoping that this is because they are combining the daemons and god legions into god individual codices, with some allied rules to allow the multi-daemon armies that people already have to be playable still.
It's almost like therea been a massive thing going on fir the other side of the warhammer IP. I'd put money on a reveal show in August still probably focused on AOS but with some sort of road map for the last chunk of the year.
When will they realize, that without better lore, Aos will not be able to stand on it's own feet? Yes, the models look great, but without background, nobody care.

imagine how funny it'd be if they released death watch as their own faction with their own codex just for gw to not touch them at all the rest of the edition.
Personally, I say that both Deathwatch and Grey Knights should be folded into Imperial agents, since both are essentially parts of the Inquisition and it allows for fine-tuning of the Inquisitors and their characters, thus giving them some actually impactful abilities. Give them all the INQUISITION keyword, rename the vehicles to 'Inquisitorial ' so that Inquisitors and Henchmen can make use of them, and slap some detachments together, Boom! Codex: Imperial Agents!
The strike forces for Grey Knights are getting difficult to get hold of, I'm assuming they've halted production and will produce a much less modular truescale kit at 20% markup within the next month or so.
The imperial agents codex will probably consolidate Grey Knights, Death Watch, Scions and Inquisitorial Agents into a single codex in a fashion similar to 3rd ed without the customizability and cohesion.

I’m SO excited for an Agents codex.
I have the generic and Draxus inquisitors, 2 Henchmen boxes, and a Rogue Trader/Voidsmen box already, plus Canis Rex to ally in for bulk.
For reveal show stuff, Gencon was listed as having a warhammer reveal show but that got canceled. I originally thought that it was because Tacoma was so close but maybe they didn’t want to have a big stage show for it.
If Emperors Children are coming, my guess is, that they'll get redesigned Chaos Bikes. With this "need for speed" approach they could also bring back the doomrider.
Maybe even some crazy Chaos Hot Rod. 😀
I would like to see a Necrons Christmas battleforce box. The "Infinite and the Divine" box with a new Trazyn model and Orikan's newer model as well as their supporting armies.
Christmas battleforces that are the first release of a new model: zero
If they did a Necron battleforce my money would be on something like Silent King, 10 lychguard, translocation overlord, a triarch stalker, and a command barge
10th feels like a flavourless edition. Keeping us in the dark right now. Maybe internal issues? I worry about the future of this company.
They will continue to make massive profits. They own the market.
Yes there are other alternatives, people crow on about OPR and how its 'so much better' but you'll struggle to actually *find* people in stores playing ORP rather than just talking about it or using their Minis as 3D printed proxies.
I'd also love a World Eaters Terminator Captain so I can finally use that Azrakh model we got last year lmao
A what? Surely you mean a chaos lord and I doubt you'll get a new termie lord before csm.
Death Guard coming last, I'm gonna cry
Good chance that only Emp's Children get released this edition...
If the rumors are true that GW is removing the Daemons codex and shoving them into their respective God Legion codex, I can easily see GW taking the lazy route, and waiting until Emp's Children to roll out the 'new' style organization.
Would also give GW the perfect excuse to not release any new models either, since they can just say, "well, you got all your daemons so that's basically a whole new model wave release in itself!"
Never doubt GW's ability to gak on Chaos players... it's basically their favorite pastime! ;-)
On the subject of the Thousand Suns Automata, in the left hand rumour engine, is that a flayed face nailed on to the armour plate? Could be something for the Emperor's Children.
Doomrider better return with the emperors children, amazing song and all
Hi! would love to see a new mechanicus tier list since the changes did shake them up a bit! (Also, im starting collecting them and Im curious about their model's strenghts and weaknesess!)
Could one of the Christmas battle force box sets be Necrons with Trazyn the lnfinite as the HQ choice.
It would be nice but Trazyn is an old resin model which at least in recent memory, are never in xmas box sets. Fingers crossed he gets an update soon
It would be awesome to get updated grey knight models
Yeah, but most rumours say they will get updated only in 11th
Seems hardly fair that legion-specific upgrade sprues are only available separately for loyalist space marines.
3d printed stuff to kitbash on dude, that's what I do, then green stuff for mutations etc
@@cadettrev762 In my meta Chaos Space Marines and Xenos are more popular for some reason.
We need the following Christmas boxes.
1. Blood angels.
2. Drukhari
3. Voltan with new units
4. Chaos demons (something non Korn)
Current rumors are that Orks are going to be the main antagonist faction for 11th edition.

It appears that the Agents of the Imperium codex will be featuring Imperial Agents, Deathwatch, and Grey Knights. As can be seen on the leaked page it has a lore section on Grey Knights.
I'm so excited for vespids
I think the Ammo box full of Grenades scream Ratlings .
Do a dual kit with Snipers and Sappers, think the Ratling Twins in Blackstone Fortress...
I was told yesterday that GW has to end finecast to comply with the English equivalents of the environmental protection agency by 2025
Instead of something like a sonic dreadnought, I'd like to see some sort of daemon engine that is like an ode to the old Hell Knight from Epic or even somehow the Subjugator - although probably not Warhound sized, more Imperial Knight sized perhaps.
I did most of Imperium and waiting from EU for the new Combat Patrol magazine!
I just started 40k for real this time and I'm hyped for the World Eater stuff as that's my choice to start with!
After Assassinorum: Kingmaker, I do expect a 5th mechanicus-style assassin too. Name of house escapes me ATM.

Yeah I was just thinking about this, realizing that since Sisters/GSC we haven't even gotten a hint yet
That is a lot for only 1 more year. I hope they extend 10th past 3 years, but I assume they make to much money off of new editions to space them out more.
OMG we've got a looooong stretch of Rules Team B incoming. I've got my popcorn starting for the nerf show...
I believe the two rumor engines were the neceomunda character in battle suit that was revealed recently

I started in 10th and my main faction is Deathwatch. If i cant do a full astartes DW army ill be mad as hell.
Isn't this a bit too scared? I'd be more exited that you probably actually get stuff. I'm not even sure if Ordo Xenos ever had a specific themed inquisitor in the past, but it would probably have nowadays.
@@madness9651 schrodinger cat at this point. Thing my DW is integrated into my (otherwise incomplete) marines. I've been having my Vets ride around in Repulsors, for example, and finding minor success only with DW units in core marine detachments. If they get split up, I'll have two armies that are even less effective than before. I'm excited for the possibilities but I'm realistic about what will likely be lost.
And everything is painted deathwatch. So I'll have two halves of the same army that aren't allowed to be a whole army?
Guess I'm just bitter from the treatment DW has gotten up to this point
I've always fancied the idea of adding the death watch into agents as a main ground troop, and I've also liked the idea of them bringing in scions like how the gsc can bring up to a certain point total of guard. Really go for the imp spec ops vibe.
So basically this vid is very validating and basically I TOLD YOU! ... ALL OF YOU aHAHHHAAAAHAHA HAAAAA!
I’m waiting on the Night Lords KT kit to complete my new Night Lords army.
The Thousand Sons Automata looks awesome. I’d like to get one or two to add more variety to my current TS army - although hordes of Rubric Marines are currently leading the competitive ranks, and I own 40 Rubrics.
I anxiously await the release of the Berserker Surgeon and Juggernaut Cavalry for World Eaters. I just hope WE isn’t the last codex in 10e. Ideally, WE, TS, and Death Guard codices will be released together since they’ll only have a few new model kits, and sooner rather than later.

Not that i expect any consistency but wasnt it "rumored" a Chaos primarch would go good?
Personally, I say that both Deathwatch and Grey Knights should be folded into Imperial agents, since both are essentially parts of the Inquisition and it allows for fine-tuning of the Inquisitors and their characters, thus giving them some actually impactful abilities. Give them all the INQUISITION keyword, rename the vehicles to 'Inquisitorial ' so that Inquisitors and Henchmen can make use of them, and slap some detachments together, Boom! Codex: Imperial Agents!
Everyone: talks smack about GWs new news reveal format
Also Everyone, but later: questions the lack of news
We are happily playing 9th Ed and Horus Heresy.
Very inquisitorial to just outright remove things with no explanation
Gonna go out on a limb and say the BT codex will be released by the end of the year
If they are adding deathwatch, wouldnt it make sense to add grey nights too?
The strike forces for Grey Knights are getting difficult to get hold of, I'm assuming they've halted production and will produce a much less modular truescale kit at 20% markup within the next month or so.
The imperial agents codex will probably consolidate Grey Knights, Death Watch, Scions and Inquisitorial Agents into a single codex in a fashion similar to 3rd ed without the customizability and cohesion.

I am actually with megakilo2124...They should release most if not all codexes at the start of the edition, like any sane company would. Its bonkers to me, that some people have to wait until the end of the edition for their codex only for it to be irrelevant half a year later. They have enough manpower to create and adjust codexes considering that their whole game consist of the main rule set + minis + codex...but i am pretty sure that they wont do this as for the reason why? only the god emperror would know
