@@trishaspear8981 it happens most of the time because of long hair and trying to get it all covered 🤣 Trust me you're not thinking about that, just getting it on quick and fully so you're not white and yellow🤣 because it itches and burns so bad you start to panic on occasion 😜

You only need to tone bleached hair if you’re going for a blonde colour, toner is just dye, like the lavender is. It actually would have been a pointless step 👍🏻
Shhhhhit. I wouldn’t done it if I didn’t have to funds to purchase all the necessary products let alone had enough money to buy a box dye to cover up my tragic mistake. Plus common girl. Toner ain’t that expensive and also is necessary when bleaching.
Advice from someone who's dyed her hair unnatural colors for 10 years: - Pastel and light colors are the hardest to do and maintain. You needed to get your hair wayyyy lighter if you wanted the whole head light purple, like a level 10 platinum/white. If you wanted blonde hair with some purple in it, like you currently have, then the level you lightened it to is good. :) - You did not put nearly enough purple dye mix on your head imo, which is part of the reason it was inconsistent and maybe not vibrant enough. You can't possibly put too much dye on your head, but definitely can put too little. If you can see your own hair beneath the dye you don't have enough. Also, while you should never "lather" bleach into your head, you absolutely can lather the vegetable based dye in. It's tinted conditioner basically, so move it around until you feel all of your hair is slick and well coated. It should feel slimey. - When dyeing your hair with vegetable based dyes you can leave it in for as long as your want. For pastels I would leave it in for a long time, at least 2 hours. I literally sometimes sleep in my dye before washing it out the next day. - Put some of the Arctic Fox dye in your conditioner to help refresh the color when you shower, especially if you use deep conditioners or leave ins. This is very important to maintain pastels. This will also "tone" your hair a little bit because of the blue in the dye. - I personally don't use toners before adding unnatural colors because I think the color covers it up well enough, but it might be useful if doing a very light pastel or for the sake of making it look good as the dye washes out. This is maybe more important when you don't bleach it to the highest levels, like you did in this video. You could also consider adding a few additional drops of blue dye to the purple dye, which will tone your hair a bit. - For next time, I really don't think you need to do a demi permanent if you are going for darker purple (anything not pastel I mean). This would just damage your hair further when it is not necessary. Your hair at the beginning of the video was already light enough for med-darker purple, so now after some bleaching it is absolutely light enough. You can still use Arctic Fox, just don't dilute it with conditioner as much, or at all. Or get a darker purple dye if necessary, but I really wouldn't go for the damage of demi permanent dye at this point. These are just my opinions so if anyone disagrees that's cool, this is just what has worked for me and others I know. :)
IT IS AN ADDICTION. i bleached the front strands of my hair n dyed them pink months ago and ive been dying random pieces of my hair ever since. now I have pink streaks all over my hair
Out of all the colors I've had the worst time getting pink out. When blue to turns to green I can handle it but when purple or red go straight to pink I sigh... Sometimes I strategically place the purple, red or pink in particular spots that I know it will look good when I bleach it because I know it's not coming out completely 🤣😜🤣
Honestly I think you look so good with the orange hair, so you should definitely try a strawberry blonde color sometime! Haven't finished the video but I'm sure it ended up great!
I was literally thinking that you pull that look off, right before you said “you know how some people can just pull off the hole bleach look?” Like it looks so cute on you!
You have one of the best personalities I've seen in the *younger generation* I've been dying/ bleaching my hair since I was 13.. Im 31 now. You did a fantastic job Sweetheart!~💜✌💜✌
A tip: you can do a darker hair dye for ur roots and lighter hair dye for ur ends (u can just add conditioner and make it as light as you want it to be). ur hair looks so pretty though 🥺✨!!
I love the progress of her - how she basically destroyed her hair and now look at her healthy hair, it is very beautiful and how she studies about haircare a lot and giving US amazing advices! You rock girl
Omg I've never watched any of this girls videos...... but..... I am so in love with her! Omg she is so cute! And she is such a mood. I've had my fair share of bleaching fails as well so. Also cant get over how naturally beautiful her face is. Can we all just admire that.
This is super cute on you. I actually really like the variation in color, but if you wanted to get rid of more of the warm tones, you can try Fanola No Yellow or No Orange shampoo and that will neutralize out the warmth. Your hair just didn’t get light enough in those areas for the purple to show up. You’d have to lighten those areas again to get it to show. But again, I think it’s really pretty now. 🙂
Some part didn’t take the color because some spots were still too dark (even if it looked bleached everywhere, it wasn’t light enough) but it looks really pretty.
guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurlllllllllll it looks AMAZING, i mean, i kinda love it that it's not completly lavander, i think it look better the way you have it, so pretty!!!!!!
The yellow parts that wouldn't take the purple very well actually look rose gold! So it looks like you have lavender and rose gold hair. And I love it.
It looks really good! The reason the purple didn’t take to some of your hair is because your hair wasn’t bleached light enough for that specific tone of purple ☺️
I’m a hairstylist and I won’t even bleach my whole head because I know I’d be stressing 😂 but you did really well and your hair lightened extremely well! It’s super even, so know that in my eyes you did amazing

I'm being trained in hairdressing and the reason there are a few yellow tones in your hair is because the bleach didn't lift the colour to a light enough depth so the depth or base shade that the lavender dye had was probably higher than what your hair had lifted to. But over all its a really nice colour and suits you, good job 👍
i really love it the way it turned out actually, those mixed colours and the warm colours match so nice to you and the hair itself looks wow... But yeah, should had gone for another bleach session and/or a toner like u've said..but i wouldn't change a thing bc it's perfect imo xD
You did a really good job explaining wat u were doin and why certain things could’ve happened. Im thinking the main reason some parts of ur hair didn’t take is because when hair is over processed with bleach the pores on the strands stay open and cant hold any color in it. Especially if you plan to put color in it the same day as bleaching. And especially if your trying to do a pastel color it’s probably a good day to wait a day or two for the pores to recover enough to hold colored dyes. the purple works as a toner so you dont need one! and i have seen it faded and honesty i think u should leave it that kinda gray color.
