Starting a nonprofit or business costs money! But the reality is that most nonprofit founders are starting their nonprofit out of their kindness of their hearts, not because they have a lot of money to spend in the beginning. It’s really important to know how and where to save money, so in this video I’m sharing 3 services that you can get for free as a 501c3 nonprofit. If you are not getting these services for free, you should work on that ASAP!

Canva is the easiest way to DIY brand your business and she’s right, it is very Powerful! It even has magic templates where you pick what you want to design, drop an image, and if populates like 3 designs like magic! Lol

Take a thumb drive with you to the library and use different key words that pertain to your nonprofit. This is worth the drive. You could have a list of 2,000 organizations but you will have to sift through them.

Thanks for watching! I’ve seen bartering happen in this space. The challenge is that when someone is not getting paid even if they’re getting something for it it can be difficult for them to take things seriously. So I would just be clear on the expectations.

Hi, starting a nonprofit might not be necessary but if you want to write off things, you should talk to an accountant about your options because everyone's tax situation is different. Since it's not your business or owned by you, you can't traditionally write off expenses like you would for a for profit business.
