I have been taking occasional lessons from former Culinary School teacher/Certified Culinary Educator for several years. I appreciate your focus on sauces which are consistent with my other lessons.
Oh my! My husband has mentioned what he calls a pink sauce that his mother used to make and pour over certain meat dishes but he never knew what it was made out of and his siblings didn't know either. But there's been several times over our 39 years of marriage where he has mentioned it, making me frustrated because I was never able to find out what it was. Maybe THIS is the sauce he loved. Going to have to make some now just to see if it is. I am so glad I ran across your channel.
@@thesauceandgravychannel I hope you see this. When you say tomato puree, is that the same as tomato paste? I know that because I am 65 and have been cooking for 45 years now that I SHOULD know this but I have never cared much for tomato based dishes. I mean, I make and eat spaghetti and lasagna but not frequently and I really just don't like most dishes that call for tomato although I do love raw tomatoes.
This a very good sauce the better the quality of the butter and stock the better the sauce becomes. Our personnel variations is to use a brand of Pudliszki Hot Tomato Ketchup sauce rather than puree and sometimes some additional mae ploy sweet chili sauce. Thank you for all your recipe video's. take care, God bless one and all.
I really appreciate you, your instructions and your ability to never disappoint my tastebuds. Thank you! Have you done Stroganoff before, because that is the one sauce I can never seem to get right and I've hunted through your content (and the drool that invokes!) and I didn't see one. So, I'm asking if you have (or will) because you're great and I know you could help me conquer that lifelong challenge. Thanks for all you do! 💞
Thank you so much for watching! ❤😊 Here is a long version video recipe for a stroganoff ua-cam.com/video/ELHxnc4NEH0/v-deo.html And here is a short version ua-cam.com/users/shorts1Y2o90_lkSo?feature=share I hope you enjoy!

No it's not tomato paste. It's very crushed tomatoes - basically a tomato sauce. I hope this helps
Fantastic.
Thanks 👍
Somewhere I saw a version of this with cognac… works nice with lobster

I had never heard of Aurora sauce until I played this game called Happy Sandwich Cafe on my phone.😂😂😂
