Yes, they do. The wait times are until you get on the ride, not the pre-show. I’ve timed many a ride with pre-shows and it’s always to the ride. If Rise of the Resistance says 45 minutes, it’s 25 minutes to Rey Room. Every single time. 20 minutes of preshows and you are on the ride at 45 minutes.
I’m not sure? I didn’t arrive until around 4 PM. I assume you’re meaning the in-park check-in we did by Space Mountain. Regular check-in begins at 6 PM.
The best one is Oogie Boogie, by far. At least I feel like I'm getting something for it. I come home with tons of candy, and there's a fun parade, and a villains walkthrough. The Disneyland ones do feel a bit underwhelming, like they're mostly for rare characters and photo ops, and if those things don't interest you (they don't interest me), then it's kind of pointless.
Traver, you looked amazing. Best dressed in my book. Sorry to Big Red Journeys. Star Wars night looks so much better than Disney Channel night. And I'm really not a Star Wars fan. The hamburger that you ate towards the end. I would eat that. I have tried the blue and green drinks. # no to both.
Hi Traver, great video! Are the characters still out in the park during normal hours (non starwars nites) ? We are really keen to try and see Darth Vader, Padme Amidala, C3PO, BB8 ... but not sure of our chances 🤔
Darth Vader is a Disney Visa cardholder only photo op. And that's if they're still doing it. I'm not even sure if they are. Amidala, 3PO, and BB8 are event exclusives. The Star Wars characters you can meet on the regular are Kylo Ren, Rey, Chewbacca, Mando, Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Fennec Shand. Occasionally R2D2 makes an appearance, but all the other Star Wars characters are event-only.

That is definitely a strategy! Some people do just that. Consider this: It costs $194 to go Disneyland on the busiest of days. If you don’t show up till 10 AM, and you leave by 10 PM, you’re there for 12 hours. Depending on the date, Star Wars Nite can be “as little as” $159. Other events are even cheaper around $139. You get 3 hours before the event, and 4 hours at the event with a total of 7 hours. But after 8 PM the regular guests are kicked out of the park. So it’s 5 hours of low wait times.
