Very influencial but educational at the same time. I am A diaspiran, and I do known that many slaves or captive were taken from there to the Caribbean island lands in the western hemisphere. But it's a very painful and hurting history that can not be forgotten ever. We are still feeling the pains today. We are looked at as foreigners by the colonial government systems of Ghana and other countries in Afrika. Keep doing a Good and bless work my little sister, it will pay off.
The name used above is the slave master of my great grand father. My real true name is Verne Ebernie'to dos Lobitos of the Afrikan Portuguese Hebrew people, of old.
This interviewer is very good! She's intelligent, articulate and very thoughtful with her questions. She also gives the interviewee the space to speak and gently steers them back on course if they digress. Just beautiful.
These are some of the things some of us want to watch and learn from and not those y3y3 "concerts parties " and fights some of our Ladies and Men are doing all over social media. Well done 👏 guys ❣❣❣
Infact Madam kate and her Family have done very well They have all the pictures of New and old Ghana.Wow.She deserves to be honoured in Ghana..Her Family is the history of Ghana.Because without them,,there is nothing to see at all.
This studio must be made into a museum, great tourist attraction and a learning historical hub for our children! The pictures must be properly stored behind glass displays to protect them. Also can the curator have a brochure of each picture and its brief historical background stories in Ga, Twi and English. Those pictures must be protected at all costs and insured. It is our legacy for future generation of Ghanaians.
This lady is a mark of quality journalism. Our numerous quack and incompetent journalist can learn a lot from her. See how she was able to draw the historian back into focus when he began to go astray.
Absolutely fascinating episode. This is one place I would love to visit several times when I come to Accra/Ghana, God willing! The guests on this show are all lovely, brilliant and model citizens of their great country, Ghana. Ms Wonder, the young but matured, gorgeous and intelligent host of the show knows her craft very well, I am optimistic she will one day in the near future find herself at high places in her country. May the Almighty be always with her and her guests. Love from your Ethiopian brother in Denmark to all who participated in this show, and God bless! 🙏🌹🙏
GhanaWeb TV, you are doing very good work and I love most of the documentaries. However, it appears your Advert labels almost take about a third of the screen obscuring the main videos and pictures. Are you able to minimize the size of your Advert Caption labels to bring out more clearly the subject matter? That would be great. More grease to your elbow. I love the interviews very much. Keep it up.
It's interesting that I come from this area but I've never entered this studio before.... I always pass by it and I never even knew what goes on in there.
That’s always the case “you never know what you have, until you loose it”; unfortunately we do not have or show proper interest in Art. And the Studio did not attract the Youth as it should. If there was Popular Music blasting out every day, Esther and her friends would have been spending time inside!
only ghanaweb can do this. please don't get into politics, even though i support NPP .but please be nuetral .i really love this photo studio documentary. cant get enough. keep doing things like this, i love it
He is too excited about the whole project that is why goes so fast; I felt the same right from the beginning. I shall find a way to help him slow down a bit.

My Mom worked here when she was 16yrs old in the 1950's for her uncle. Wow, Deo Gratias studio is till alive and going. It is a landmark in Ghana.
Hello, Naa Dei El Elyon, hope this finds you well, what is your
mom's name?
I like the mans [Kofi] fluency n command over the English language....who agrees?
I disagree. His articulation is poor
I also disagree, his spoken English language skills are not the best. More room for improvement!
Mrs. Kate and Mr. Awuley exhibited more fluency.
Every Ghanaian child should do a school trip to this studio.
