Love this game. Best class combo imho: Wizard dual class into Soldier. Wizard is insanely powerful if done right. But why soldier? Because of the shield perk. It allows you to use a specific shield found in the game for magic users as if it was the heaviest soldier shield.. after that you can take the heaviest of blows and counter with magic instantly.
For the sythe I'd recommend using the main ability there as often as possible. You get huge damage from the extra speed on I think 4 stacks, I got my cooddown to 5ish seconds ussualy and I ussualy have 150 plus mana to use from perks and auras increasing mana gain on hit.
So i was wondering, which tome should i spend materials upgrading? My tempest tome+7 does less damage than the magi-flame+2, ddnt make any sense.... was thinkin bout sayin frick it and using the infinity slicer+5.
all tomes are needed due to elemental resistance. the better is the dark-tome. use the good old heroic amulvaro to get easy +11 of all tomes (so 3 times)

Last time i played the game it was really unbalanced. Anything but sorcery or daggers just couldnt deal enough damage to later bosses and even these 2 builds had to have 100+ points invested in their main source of damage (int/dex) that you have almost none left for stamina or health. I always felt underpowered, you'd get 3 shot from pretty much every boss, while they barely took damage. Sooner or later, due to how drawn out the fights were, you'd make a mistake and you'd suffer dearly for it
Yeah, it's still only tome/daggers meta, i've needed to grind like 300lvl or so to complete some heroic bosses for the first time with scythe, maybe i'm playing this game wrong, but still my build was way weakier then my friend's tome build on equal levels
@@Ender_Pie beaten every heroic boss w/ a scythe build at lvl141. I think it’s just a skill problem cuz the scythe is quite good on most bosses, especially on bosses with enemy spawns(the majority).
@@klaps2463 i beat the game with scythe too, but it takes more effort and skill to do it, and you can pick sorcerer and deal millions of damage staying out of combat

A bit late but the Ethereal set's recipe can be acquired by completing all the puzzles in the Stranded Isles just above Central Sanctuary. They are the best equipment for Finesse builds in the game.
The timestamps are marked by weapons, not classes-is it because you think all weapons are best wielded by specific classes(probably those that have skills for those weapons)?
Ive done some research and i think they are the wings of exile +, which are dropped by defeating heroic ash. They give u 20% more damage and u can have and extra jump for a 3 soul cost.
Theirs an ability you get from the dlc where it'll allow you to equip any weapon, bows and shields regardless of stats, sadly it's only acquired by beating the heroic boss rush
As a hammer player this is exactly how you not use the weapon. You can cancel the cooldown and essence cost of the 20 essence skill by rolling out of it as soon as possible and otherwise you also just need to use rolling attacks (after which you eventually use the skill once to replenish your stamina). Also, after playing hammer for so long ive finally come to the conclusion that picking sentinel is completely useless and you are probably better off picking any classes that provide you with other benefits, like assassin with the cooldown reduction on dashes or soldier or honestly whatever tickles your pickle really. You dont want/need the attack speed boost because the rolling attack doesnt benefit from it and all the other attacks are bordering on complete uselessness anyways for a multitude of reasons. Having a 10 second longer buff timer doesnt matter if there is no cooldown on recasting the buff and its actually worse if your buff eventually runs out because you capped at 25% and now you cant refresh it anymore.
