I would rate this as one of the best BBT songs ever! As much I love Victorian Brickwork and East Coast Racer, this embodies superb vocal melodies [RIP David Longdon] and guitarwork, not to mentions symphonic keyboards that rival Genesis and Yes. 10/10
Another stunning heartfelt big big train epic rooted in Englishness and English folk - David will be a big miss as a part of this stunning band. I hope they will continue because they are unique. They have had many setbacks but the loss of David is massive. We at least have a new album in January 2022. I wonder if they can gather in any of the solo record that David was working on?
A great epic suite, which is quite original... the addition of accordion & sea shanty elements gives some contrast compared to the rockier parts... Beautiful epic ending. One of their best pieces... A lot of emotion there. David Longdon is better in the intimate/soft range.
